Mar 24, 2013Once open Photoshop and clink on Edit, this message shows up, and if choose "Check online for solution..." no new action happen, the program shut down, restating does not work. Before there were no troubles with program.

Photoshop :: Feature Program Failure CS6 64Bit
Mar 29, 2013When using CS6 64 bit I noticed that when I overlayed text to change color by clicking on the color swatch at top right panel ..I got a program failure notice....It works in 32bit version however.
The same thing happens when overlay in enabled and I go to forground color in tool bar click and try and change color via swatches?

Mar 24, 2012I'm currently working on a information page for my school. I spend many many hours creating it.After I saved and closed it today, I started my backup sync software called "Sync n Go" to save the file on my PC as well and not only on my portable flash drive.After I did so I got an idea and decided to open it again but I wasn't able to. Photoshop shows me a error message that says that Photoshop can't execute this psd because a program failure occured. (Image attached but on german)

Jan 4, 2014I installed and have successfully used PSE 12 on Windows 7 since October 2013. It quit working in the middle of alternately using it with an online screen of an art class and now refuses to launch. I have done repeated uninstalls and reinstalls to no avail. It's welcome screen does come up but now with the message that my trial version has expired and the only option given is to BUY NOW. I have a licensed product. Is this a program bug as I've read others encountering similar issues.Â

Nov 21, 2013Whenever he starts Photoshop up, all of his auto recovery files open. For example - when he goes to open a psd of a web design, he will get about 25 files opening with the title "JobName recovered".
I had a meander around the forums looking for possible fixes and information about the Auto Recovery feature, but so far have not been able to cure this ailment.

I have previously disabled the Auto Recovery feature as well as deleting the auto recovery files, yet this was only had a band-aid to amuptation effect. The auto recovery files have reappeared and are now opening again upon start up.

Jul 11, 2011Just upgraded from X3 to X4 & have found that X4 won't start -- I get an immediate Windows error: "Corel VideoPro has stopped working." I tried running as administrator with the same result.
Installation seemed to go fine & reboot went fine . . . the program just won't start (although X3 continues to run as normal).
Let's see . . . Vista Ultimate 32-bit, 4 GB RAM, 2.67 GHz Intel Core2 Quad Q6700, 8-10 TB hard drive space, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card.

Nov 12, 2012My Photoshop 8 won't load the organizer. (It will load the editor) It does this from time to time and usually, in a few days it works again. I have called adobe support in the past about this but they don't believe me. This time a week has gone by and I still can't get the organizer to open. So, I tried re-installing it from the disk. It uninstalled it and now, won't re-install it. I let my back up expire (as every few months I have to call adobe to get re-connected to it). Is adobe now blocking my installation? The installation gets to verifing and then deletes the files it just installed.

Aug 29, 2013I cannot print photographic images with my desktop MAC (OS X10.8.4) from Photoshop Elements 9.0 to my new Epson XP-800 printer. Printing is not a problem with Word text or images from iPhoto- it is only with PSE that there is a problem. The problem persists even if I try using a cabled connection rather than WiFi. I have ensured latest software from Epson has been downloaded. This problem did not occur when using the same system with the previous printer (Epson Photo Stylus 1290).

rather than just a workaround of moving the edited PSE image back to iPhoto & printing from there (which admittedly does work but shouldn't be necessary).

Dec 22, 2013When trying to print borderless the menu reverts to the smaller size. ie when selecting 5x7 it reverts to 4x6. Ditto 8x10 and 11x14 etc. The paper size stays the same, just the print size reverts and the desired size disappears. I contacted Epson twice and both times I was told it is a software issue, not the printer. The same thing happens in Lightroom, but in WEindows Gallery Live the printer works correctly which indicates the driver and printer are working correctly. I am using Windows 7 and had Elements 9, but Elements 10 came bundled with the printer so I upgraded to 10, no improvement.

"Before you can perform printer-related tasks such a s page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." I have installed and reinstalled the Epson twice now, I have tried printing to PDF as well as the generic Windows printer driver. PS is updated. I can print from Illustrator and Acrobat, as well as Office, ect. The problem is only PS. I have Vista 64 and PS 64 on a laptop and I can print to the Epson just fine. What is going on with my tower? update: even more curious is that I can create a new document and PS DOES see the printer just fine.

Aug 24, 2013My PSE9 organizer wont start. When I select organizer from the welcome screen it immediately goes back to the desktop.
I'm running Vista Home premium SP2. The product was working OK until about a week ago but now wont open.
I have renamed the PSA file and the Status.dat file but no luck.
I have tried to get to catalog manager by CTRL-Shift on selecting organizer from the welcome screen but it just goes back to the desktop.
The Editor appears to work but I can't access Organizer from there either--nothing happens.

Just choosing Photoshop as the default application doesn't change anything. They still open in Acrobat unless I first start Photoshop and open the file I want.
Photoshop :: CS4 Refuses To Recognize Installed Printers?
Jul 1, 2013I have three printers installed on this Windows Vista 64-bit machine, and they all operate normally with other applications. When I open a TIF or JPEG file in Photoshop, part of the time they open normally, and I can do print preparation and normal printing. Sometimes when I open a TIF or JPEG file, they open normally, but when I start to prepare them for printing (printer selection, etc.), a Photoshop CS4 message tells me that I have to install a printer first before I can do any printing-related tasks. It acts like there are no installed printers at all. Obviously I am not changing my printer hardware status between files that work and files that don't work.

I've been trying to compare the files that work normally with the files that don't work normally, and I haven't found the trend yet. If I try to recreate thousands of files that don't work normally so that they do print, that will be a monumental job.

Anti-Aliased : No check
Brush Color : Pink
Click on the canvas, hold SHIFT to force a straight line, move towards the bottom of the document, let go of the mouse button, it draws a line straight to my mouse's cursor! I have no other ideas what is causing this.
