Lightroom :: Photos Always Get Cropped When Printing?
Aug 21, 2013I have my user presets for exporting photos set to W3600 x H2395 when I want to print 12x8, but both 12x8 photos and photobooks come back with the image cropped. Is there a dimension setting I should use to avoid this problem? I have a Nikon D700 if that is relevant.

Dec 26, 2013I am running LR 5.3 and CS6 with the latest updates all installed on a Mac running Maverick (10.9.1). why cropped pictures in LR5 do not upload to CS6? There is no message that it didn't work properly.
In addition, when I undo the cropping in LR, the photo will upload to CS6, however, part of the photo will be destroyed.
Lightroom :: 5 - 1px Cropped Off The Width Of All Synced Photos
Nov 21, 2013LR5 bug. I've found that when I sync a batch of photos more than once, unless I untick the sync crops option, 1px is cropped off the width of all synced photos. The master photo stays at its original size.
My images cannot be anything other than the exact original size. This is a tech issue not a personal one.
Clearly there's a workaround for this, but then you have to remember to untick the crop option. If you don't and you've moved ou of the module and started working elsewhere, it seems that there's no quick undo fix; you just have to go back into each photo and set to the last 'good' history step.
Lightroom :: Export And Print Photos That Have Been Cropped / Rotated / Angled?
Feb 4, 2013I have found that if I straighten a photo in Lightroom and then export it, it will not print correctly. The photo will print with the edges of the photo not straight with the borders of the paper. The angle the photo is printed askew is the same angle that I used to straighten the photo.
This is only apparent on prints with borders, but I assume it is happening on borderless prints as well.

I know there must be some way to have the small image automatically made larger rather than having to click on the magnifier and "+" and then on the image until it is a size I can work on. Therefore I need to know about resizing , however, I have spent weeks , reading and watching videos about this , and they all speak the same editing language without being specifically about what is needed, I mean the rules to follow etc and process that is involved.
For example,of this, resolution and pixel ,dots per inch,they all mention of the name of them, and mention "put photos in a number of of 200 ppi," without given any detailed explanation about why this is so!, when there are so many other numbers from the same category. In order to resize a photo there is needs to be more specific information that is needed about it when photo editing is involved, 'custom' resize photos.

I want to keep the high quality - but should I untick the resampling box, or do it with the resampling box ticked - then reduce the size?

I calibrate my monitor, I have taken photoshop classes, been on webinars for calibrating my monitor, etc. And no matter what I do, my photos print several shades darker than what I see on my monitor. I use no color adjustment in my ps print settings as well as my printer settings.

Jun 6, 2013I have CS5. The photos coming out of the camera are 300 dpi and approx 12.8" x 19.2". When I crop the photo to 300 dpi and 8x10 and send it to print, the printer says the photo is too small. It comes across as 72 dip and 8.333" x 6.667". I was expecting photos to come out of the camera with 72 dpi and a huge length x width. I can then crop and print without issue. Is there a photoshop setting that needs to be set? Is there a different work flow I need to use? I shoot with a 5D Mark III.

if i try to print from the edited photograph without moving it onto a new document it doesnt fit onto an A4 paper and comes up with 'Specifit print settings (Interpolation, Calibration,Encoding) will be ignored since you are printing to a non post-script printer.

With all the sort and search functionality, I don't understand the benefit of albums.I name my image folders using a standard naming convention with the date embedded so it makes them rather easy to manage.
