View 2 RepliesI work with the latest version (7.2.2) of the application on a Windows PC.My configurations are the following:
Intel i7 2600k @ 3.40 GHz
16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz
120GB SSD Samsung 840 Series Basic
Sapphire ATI Radeon R9 270 2GB VRAM
I have the latest drivers installed. The crash occurs as soon as I try to switch from list view to icon view in my project browser. The thumbnails come up but Premiere crashes with a serious problem notification shortly after (no further infos whatsoever).
I've tested my RAM by using MEMtest86: No errors. I have narrowed it down to my graphic card. I plugged it out for testing and had no problems with the icon view. The graphic card has currently the AMD Beta-Driver (14.3 Beta) but that didn't work. Before that I had the 13.12 version installed. I've also tried switching the Open_CL Support off.
Can I use "edit in" in Lightroom to move video clips to premier or premier elements to edit them?

i have a project due in a few weeks and i cant rely on windows movie maker!
I am running it on a HP Probook 450 with Windows 8.1 64 bit.
Just recently premiere will crash if i open a browser window then return to the premiere software. run down of what i am working with:
Windows 8.1 64 bit, Intel i7-3770k, 16 gigs of ram, Nividia 650, Anker 5000 gaming mouse, Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6, and the normal other insides (SSD 256 for os and software and a few SATA drives).
If i just stay working in the premiere environment it will continue to work, its only when i leave the program.
I've got a project which has had all it's files relocated to a different location. The first time I opened the project I sucesfully relinked everything and it ran smoothly. Now if I open the project or any previous version of it, premiere tells me that all the files are 'PROCESSING...' and show the question mark logo beside them in the media browser. (when I open the project Premiere doesn't notify me that the files are offline)
When I try to relink the files through the media browser panel they all say 'PROCESSING...', as soon as I click OK after locating the file the Apple spinning wheel of death appears and the program becomes non respondant and needs to be force quit.
I've tried opening previous versions of the project, importing the project into a new blank project and restarting the computer...nothing works!
I'm running a 13" MBP quad core i5 with most recent version of Mountain Lion (haven't updated to Mavricks as I think i'd have more problems if I did!) and the most recent version of Premiere CC.
I have two recent model 27" iMacs running CC. On one system, playback freezes or I getting a Media Pending screen when playing AVCHD (.mts) footage. The second system can playback all the footage with no probplem.
The troubled system specs are: iMac 27-inch, Mid 2011
Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB
Software OS X 10.9.1 (13B42)
Few hours ago Premiere were working perfectly, but I updated the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver because the new version have OpenCL support, and now every time I open a Premiere Project, it crashes after a few seconds. My computer is a Lenovo G400s Laptop with Windows 8.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSlowly but surely my OSX environment is being extricated from the absolute lunacy that every file used by any application had to reside on the machine's root drive. Adobe Premiere Pro, for example, created a $USER/Documents/Adobe subdirectory where it stored my profile information. I attempted to move that profile information to a network drive and to use an alias to point $USER/Documents/Adobe at $NETWORK_DRIVE/Adobe. Now Adobe Premiere Pro CC crashes on startup. I have attempted to trash my preference (deleting the 7.0 subfolder of the Adobe/Premiere Pro folder).
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I work on a project in PremierePro CS6 v6.0.5 and put my PC to sleep, Premiere crashes almost every time I boot up Windows again. There is no error number or anything, just a window saying that PP does not work and I only have the option to close PP. So I basically have to quit Premiere every time and load up the project again when I continue working on it, which can take some time if this is a long project.
This also happens with other PC I could test this on. This is happening since the very first version of PP CS6. I had a chance to test PP CS5.5 on this issue and this was not a problem their. I was testing with Win7.
I already submitted this bug quite a while ago, but all the updates did not solve this problem.
There is also another bug I noticed related to the second monitor preview in PP CS6, that also is not getting addressed for quite some time. When using a dual monitor setup the full screen preview on the second monitor does not minimize if I minimize PP by clicking on the PP icon in the taksbar. If I use the minimize button in the PP window (top right) the preview on the second monitor stays in the background as it should. Also if PP is minimized and I am working with another application (reading a PDF or surfing the web fo example) the PP full screen preview appears after a while on its own and blocks the second monitor. So I have to go to the PP window and back the the application I want to work in in order to get rid of the preview monitor being blocked. Here you can see what I mean: [URL]
This issue has also been tested on other machines with Win7 and they all had this problem. This two issues are obviously not related to my setup because I can reproduce them on other machines.
What to do when trying to import a jpeg photo through the media brower and PPCS6 crashes? It all started when the program crashed while I was editing. I installed an upgrade to CS6 and rebooted. After that I could not import photos into the project.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI edited an online video dictionary (about 7,500 five second clips) and have them all in sequences in Premiere pro CC waiting to be exported. I hae been battling for two weeks now day in and day out to try and export... I am limited to batch exporting this project and have never had problems with adobe softwares in five years ( a great track record). I have tried many ways of importing or exporting the sequences to Media Encoder CC, and have experienced crashes every single export attempt. As soon as I add more than 5-10 clips the program crashes when I start the que. I badly need to deliver this product, any patch that will keep ME from crashing when you add more than a couple clips?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was working on a project in Premiere Pro 6. I had imported about 200 files and almost completed the project. I tried to import another file and the import function would not work. In addition, it disabled about 90 percent of the program. Menu selections had turned grey. I closed the project and program and restarted, opening a much smaller project. Worked OK until I tried to import. The import wouldn't work, and the program was disabled. This is not a case of actually selecting a file to import. The function crashes before you have a chance to actually select a file. On deadline.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhenever I start Elements Organiser, there is an on-screen message that there are files ready to import and that the Organiser will now import these files into the Catalog. Then a "Getting Media" box displays and, at some point, say 56%, the "racing cursor" appears and the programme does nothing more. It just freezes and eventually there is a Windows message stating that the programme is not responding. This happens in Elements/Premiere 11. I reinstalled Elements 6 and the file importing works quickly and without problem in that version of Elements.
This is a new, custom-built PC, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. 16 Gb memory. Adobe programmes were installed for 64-bit OS exactly as directed in Adobe instructions. All hardware drivers are up to date. No other problems with any other software, just Adobe's Elements 11 bundle !
How do i add new fonts to premiere elements9?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop Elements 12 on a new Mac using OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks. The Organizer crashes frequently while I am browsing single images and using the direction arrows to look at the next image. It will also crash when I browse the thumbnails and enlarge a single image in the organizer. There are about 26k images in my library. Some are on an auxiliary drive. I have stacked the images into about 450 stacks to try and cut down on system workload. This problem can occur with only a few hundred images in the organizer from a new download. My system has 8 GB Ram and 1 Terabyte drive which is a combination hard and Fusion drive. The crashes do not occur on every image which is enlarged, just enough to make this process very frustrating. The system restarts quickly, but I have to find the image again and it usually crashes a few more times on the same image. Last week, it took two hours to select three images for a competition and the system crashed at least a dozen times.
I have not lost any data. I have been sending the reports to Adobe. So far I have sent more than 60 reports with no automated suggestions. I am finding this product unstable and unsatisfactory.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just bought an LG DVD burner and everything appears to be working well. I can burn a data DVD with Nero and do about 4 gb in 6 minutes. So, I know it's working okay.
When I try to burn a 53 minute DVD with Adobe Premiere Elements (home videos), I encounter problems. Basically, when its encoding the data (the first step) it says the time remaining is around 4-5 hours. Does this seem right?
Also, the CPU% goes really high. I tried burning it last night before I went to bed and when I woke up I had a virtual memory error. It looked like about 75% along the way it stopped with the error.
Now, I've been searching around reading about VM, etc. and I've tried a few things:
* expanding my VM
* closing down programs in the background both manually and with msconfig (all non-windows programs) then retried it
* defragged HD
* my hard disk has 10 gb remaining so that shouldn't be an issue.
I will soon have access to Premier Pro at a local Public TV Provider. I am considering purchasing Premier Elements for my home computer. I was wondering if I could do a rough cut using Premier Elements and then polish it using Premier Pro?

View 1 Replies View RelatedPSE 9 crashes when entering the editor, returning a note about 'error 1 - need to re-install PSE 9' which unfortunately I can't do because it rolls-back the attempt to uninstall. There must be something blocking the uninstall required before it will re-install the product. Still trying some ideas like installing on another drive on the computer, but to no avail.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop Elements 9 - 11: I thought that, maybe, with the new version out that Adobe would have fixed the organizer 'disappearing act', but I guess not. Finally, when you start Photoshop Elements 11 the organizer actually appears without you having to shut the program down and start it two times. Now, with Photoshop Elements 11, try to minimize the organizer and you can't get the screen to restore either by clicking on the icon on the start bar or by right clicking the icon and then selecting restore. You, AGAIN, have to shut the program down and start it back up again.

View 5 Replies View RelatedA few months ago I bought and downloaded Photoshop Elements 12 from Adobe's website due to my Elements 8 crashing before it opens. For about a month it worked fine, but when I clicked on the logo Elements 12 wouldn't open. I would right-click my images and try to open them in Elements 12 but a window would pop up saying "Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working" (I use Windows). Using Safe Mode I fixed Elements 12 so that the window appears where I can click between Organizer and Editor. Organizer works fine, but when I click editor the loading bar appears and the "Stopped Working" screen would appear again. how I can use Editor on Elements 12 again?
