Mar 19, 2012I am having trouble opening an EPS file in Photoshop CS5. Previously, PS wasn't opening at all, but I cleaned up my fonts and I can now open some files. This particular EPS file, however, causes the application to crash every time. I recently had similar trouble with Firefox and Flash and have since upgraded to 10.7. Crash report below:

Jul 17, 2013I am working on a new iMac and a few weeks ago I started to try the Photoshop CC-Tryout-Version. Everything was ok, but today Photoshop stopped opening files and crashes. The Tryout-Version is still valid - the 4 weeks haven't passed yet.

Photoshop :: CS 3 Crashes During Opening A File
Mar 11, 2008I have a problem with my Photoshop CS 3. Everytime I try to open a file the program crashes producing the message "Photoshop.exe has detectetd a problem".
I'm runnig CS 3 on a Windows XP x64 OS. I have already installed the update to version 10.0.1.
All I could find out was, that it must have something to do with my EPSON printer driver for the EPSON Stylus Photo 2100. If I remove the driver from the system, CS 3 works without crashing.
Photoshop Elements :: 12 Editor Crashes Before Opening?
Feb 19, 2014A few months ago I bought and downloaded Photoshop Elements 12 from Adobe's website due to my Elements 8 crashing before it opens. For about a month it worked fine, but when I clicked on the logo Elements 12 wouldn't open. I would right-click my images and try to open them in Elements 12 but a window would pop up saying "Photoshop Elements 12 Editor has stopped working" (I use Windows). Using Safe Mode I fixed Elements 12 so that the window appears where I can click between Organizer and Editor. Organizer works fine, but when I click editor the loading bar appears and the "Stopped Working" screen would appear again. how I can use Editor on Elements 12 again?

Sep 1, 2012Every time I open Photoshop Elements Organizer it either crashes before opening or very soon after. I am able to use the editor, but not the organizer. I ahve removed all older versions, disabled my anti-virus software, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times with no luck. I have a Dell Laptop with windows 7 - 64 bit operating system and dual quad processor. I have used several versions of Elements and have never had this problem before. The last version that I had installed and worked was version 8.

Corel draw x4 starts up fine, when you either pick a template, open an existing file, or click the new drawing button the mouse pointer becomes the circle and it says Processing at the bottom right corner of the screen, the status bar next to processing does not progress at all and it just stays like this until i close it. It says (not responding) in the top bar.
I have downloaded the updates from corel draw and have also un installed corel draw and re installed it and it is still the same.

Jul 26, 2013After updating silverfast software to a newer version then SF-8.0.1r24(AFL)_x86, Corel X5 and X6 did crash when opening a file.
It didn't uninstall Silverfast or to reiinstall Corel X5 or X6.
Only reloading th whole computer (Windows 7 Pro) from an earlier image did work. But when installing the silverfast Update, the same thing happened.
Silverfast says, they don't install anything into Corel suite. I should ask Corel about the problem ...
Everything else keeps running fine after the silverfast update.
AutoCAD Architecture :: 2009 Crashes When Opening File Created In 2012?
Aug 13, 2012I work with a national company that creates criteria drawings for new projects. They recently changed to the 2012 version but they save it down to 2007. There has not been an issue with opening files with my 2009 version until recently. All of the computers in our office are unable to open these new files, although they claim nothing has changed. My CAD will pop up a fatal error and shut down whenever I attempt to open the new files. I downloaded the 2013 trial version and saved the file down to the older version, but that does not work either. Newer versions do not seem to be affected by the files, just my 2009 version. I tried creating a new file in 2013 and saved down to 2007 format. When I try to open it 2009 there is no issue. besides purchasing a new version of AutoCAD?

Mar 1, 2013We recently purged our part templates of unused materials and appearances because there were duplicates after our merge between our original 2012 library and 2013 library. We deleted these duplicates but retained all materials that inventor uses by default, such as the "default" material.
Creating new files causes no problems, however when opening a .STEP file Inventor immedietly crashes and exits to the desktop. We tried re-assigning the default templates that came with our install of 2013 and we can open STEP files just fine.
We tried uninstalling the latest update (Update 2 for SP1.1) but that did not change the problem.
We are using confirmed STEP files that have opened fine in the past and new STEP files that are freshly downloaded. NOTE: the same crash occurs with .SAT and .IGES files as well, however we primarliy use STEP files.
This is occuring on two seperate machines, both running Windows 7 64-Bit with i7 processors and 16 Gigabites of RAM.

Photoshop Elements :: 12 Crashes When Reading In File From CD While Using Mavericks?
Dec 10, 2013I subscribe to Digital Photo magazine, from England. They supply a CD with every issue. I attempted to read in a .jpg file directly in the PSE 12 editor. PSE consistently crashes as soon as I start the process. I tried the same process on PSE 10 and 11 with the same result. I then took the CD on my Windows 7 system, which also has the save versions of PSE. On Windows 7 the process works without a hitch.
Workaround. If I import the file from the CD while in PSE 12 organizer, highlight the file and then invoke the editor, it works fine. I do NOT want to use a workaround. This should work AND in no event should the system crash.
NOTE: I have submitted the crash reports to both Apple and Adobe without getting any response.
Photoshop Elements :: Opening Raw File (RAF) From Fujifilm X100s With 10?
Sep 8, 2013I am unable to open .raf files created by my new Fujifilm x100s camera. I have PSE 10. According to Help --> Updates, I have the most current versions of everything installed. My ACR Version is 6.7.0.339.
I see references tro Adobe Camera Raw version 7 but it looks like that version is not compatible with PSE10, only PSE11.
Sticking with PSE 10, what is the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw that I can use and that will support opening .raf files from the Fuji x100s? I'm afraid to attempt installation of ACR 7 without assurancesd that it will work with PSE10.

Feb 12, 2014I have upgraded my Elements 9 to Elements 12. I used to be able to open a raw file directly into the raw editor in Elements 9. With Elements 12 I click to open the raw file with Elements 12 but Elements opens into the basic editor with no picture opening. I then have to select Open Camera Raw from the file menu and select the photo again. The photo then opens. Is there a setting i can change so that elements 12 opens directly into the raw editor?

Feb 3, 2009I have a problem with Photoshop CS4 Trial. The first time that I ever installed it it worked without a hitch, along with several other trials; Dreamweaver, Fireworks etc... Since than I have reformatted my computer due to other problems and now am running a clean install of Vista 64. Now, however, Photoshop crashes every time i try to open it. Ive tried several installs in several different directories.
There are times during a couple of the installs that the installer has had an error, "Photoshop CS4 failed to install do you want to continue?" When that happen I close the installer and delete all files pertaining to any adobe software off of my system including their registries.
Another thing that I forgot to mention was that when Photoshop loads it says "The monitor Profile "Samsung - Natural Color Pro" appears to be defective. Please rerun your monitor calibration software." Than it gives me 2 options, "Ignore Profiles" and "Use Anyway". Ive tried both options. Is this causing my problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My CPU specs are as fallows:

Photoshop :: Opening CS5 Extended Crashes
Feb 16, 2012I have downloaded and installed Photoshop CS5 Extended. The problem is that after entering my ID and password (first time), the splash screen appears, saying Photoshop. When it tries to initiate "plugins-SupportScript" it crashes every time.
I uninstalled and re-installed. I get the same problem. What do I do? What should I check? I am using Windows XP, Service Pack 3.
