I have been given a problem that involves a group of objects and images that have been masked. When i duplicate the group, move it and make some changes, on reopen it seems some of the masked images are duplicated and appear in the original position before they were moved?
Although they are masked out they are obviously not good. These images also appear in the link panel without any thumbnails.
The problem I'm having, or what's annoying, is reappearing (visible) Work Planes. I have a number of parts in my assembly that I make invisible and visible on a regular basis and I find that when I make a part visible, the Work Planes of that part also become visible. It's very annoying and time consuming having to turn off the Work Planes when there's no need for them to be visible.
Is there a way to either make all Work Planes invisible or to permenantly make Work Planes invisible unless you specifically make them visible.
Why does "Pixels Not Selected" often comes up and selection is negated? (Windows 7)

View 8 Replies View RelatedIf I am constantly making frames in photoshop for use in the video world (ie. They will be on TV) the pixels need to be rectangular (or 4x3) in aspect and not square.
I know in programs like After Effects and Combustion you can set when saving an image whether or not it is square or rectangular pixels.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a photo open in Expert with a blank layer above it. I selected the quick selection tool and drew a complete circle around the object I want to copy from this photo and to paste the selected area to the layer. However, I get a pop up box stating that the copy command cannot be completed because no pixels we selected.
I followed book and online instructions on selection tool uses while in Layers and can't seem to get past this pop up box.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the full version of Photoshop I can crop an image 1600 x 1200 pixels, then save for web. It’s a simple two step operation that seems impossible in Elements. First because you can’t crop by pixels, only by proportion. Then because the save-to-web feature seems to result in a massive gif file, not a small jpg.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI have several layers in an image, and I need to align them precisely. The ordinary layer shift ("move pixels") by multiples of pixels is not sufficient. Is there a tool or plugin for PDN that allows sub-pixel shifts (i.e. moves by fractions of pixel)? And rotations by very small angles?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've done a lot of web design with photoshop. Often times it's best to make a large picture and then cut it up into smaller pieces to fit the spreadsheet layout of an html page, but I've always found it very time consuming. I basically have to make rectangle marquees until I get the correct dimensions, usually making a conservative estimate, then zooming in to slowly count the pixels needed. Is there a way to type in a pixel number to automatically select to that point?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm doing science fair right now and i need to figure out how many pixels are in a certain selection (a laso). Is there a way other than knowing the width and height, a way to know exacly how many pixels are in a selection? or even how many pixels of a certain color are in a selection? if there isnt, does anyone know a program that can do this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI work for a small magazine and were running a feature on old school games, my question is this. The foreground is going to have a screen shot of lets say Super Mario Brothers. How can I enlarge the foreground image so that the pixels stay blocky and nothing gets smoothed out. The only work around I have for the mean time is using transform and screen capturing the transform before it smooths out the pixels again.
