Mar 7, 2011I recently ran across some nice textures on the Brusheezy site, which then led me to google whether or not I could add these textures to my PDN. What I found was a custom texture .dll listed at this site [URL]...... that says it will allow the loading of PS textures in to PDN. Does it work, and do those of you who created and run PDN recommend using it?

Oct 5, 2012Basically what ive done, is taken a font ive found online and made quite a few changes to it by use of the paint brush, eraser and so on... now i want to save these changes and use this new "font" ive created, and use it in pictures and stuff.
what i would like to know, is how do i save the changes ive made? But i only want the words ive used. I dont want the black background i edited on. I would like to open the file, and just have the words i edited on the new background.
Paint Shop Pro :: X6 Not Remembering Custom Workspace?

I got a message to install service pack 1 this morning. Since then every time I load PSP the workspace is the default workspace and all of the tools I had added to the toolbars are missing. If I load my custom workspace from the load menu, it makes no difference, it just refreshes the screen and nothing changes. Also every time I load the program it displays the Learning Center and Organizer tabs, even though I keep disabling them.
I tried resetting everything back to the defaults but it doesn't work. Should I do a new re-install or is there something I'm missing?

Dec 6, 2011Is there a way to make transparency on custom brushes? I had an idea to make custom brush sets similar to those used in photoshop. I know in Photoshop, Custom Brushes are done with opacity maps With white being transparent and black being full color and all the greys in between being different levels of transparent. I've tried doing that with custom brushes mini and I've also tried making the images transparent, but I just cant seem to make it work. I can get either completely solid and completely transparent. But nothing in between...

For example, we have a 512x512 image, then we import an image half that size with whatever we want the next mipmap to be as a separate layer. Then we have a 256x256 texture in the top right corner of the image while still retaining the 512x512 canvas size.

Dec 28, 2011Using X4 on Windows 7. I'm trying to create a series of custom edges to supplement those already supplied in X4. I've created the edge ok and exported it as a frame and it works ok. The problem is selecting it in the dropdown menu under Image/picture frames. Whereas the thumbnails of the supplied edges have grey shading to represent the transparent section of the edge, mine don't, they are just plain white and that makes it difficult to know what edge to select. What have I done wrong? I've opened a couple of the supplied edges and they look similar to mine ie no shading.

May 1, 2012I'm currently going through a batch of digital photos I took of my nephew, some of which have serious red eye issues.
using the inbuilt red eye removal tool under the adjust drop down has proven quite useful, but I am limited in terms of iris colors. none of the default colors seem to be a good match for his own eye color and they are noticeably inaccurate in the final result. is there any way to either mix the default iris colors then save the new color, or add extra colors any other way?

Dec 13, 2012Just today, while making graphics and such, my custom fonts just stopped working all together. Every single one that I have installed just shows up as nothing and is un-selectable when using it. The one in particular that i was using is Bebas Neue. Although all installed fonts are not working either.This happened out of the blue and I don't remember hitting anything or changing anything. Just typing with the font and it refused to show.
Steps Taken:
1. Reset All Preferences
2. Shift Key Trick on Load Up
3. Restarting the Computer
4. Reinstalling PSP X2
5. Using the font in other programs - Which they WORK (Word, GIMP, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
6. Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Font itself.
CorelDRAW X6 :: Using Custom Spray Can Shapes From Paint In Artistic Media?
Jun 20, 2012Is there a way to use some of the pre-loaded brushes from Paint in Draw?
My list of pre-loaded brushes in DRAW is much shorter than the list in Paint. I'm specifically hoping to be able to use this brush in my Artistic Media in DRAW. Or do I need to create a new brush in DRAW? I would prefer not to have to work in Paint at all.
I just need a spray can that just sprays dots in DRAW (instead of the clipart type images that are part of the default).
Paint Shop Pro :: Lost Extensive Custom Toolbar Setup - 14
May 25, 2012In the past week or two, I took time to re-create the tool button config in PSP14 that I've used for many years in Paint Shop Pro. However, the next day I see PSP14 has reset to the DEFAULT toolbars!!
Why did this happen? Was it failure to SAVE the configuration? Are my toolbars lost now? any way to restore besides button-by-button reconfig?

Aug 14, 2013why custom made nibs thunbnails show as black dots in PhotoPaintx6? Also when I select one of them...it just sprays a dot instead of my image? I saw where others are having the same problem. Some are and some aren't. As long as I leave the custom made nibs loaded they display and spray correctly. If I load the default nibs or any other nibs then go back and load the custom nibs..that's when I get the black dots. I've remade my nibs several times thinking I did something wrong but that's not the problem.

So when selecting no material for this part (for example when the user forgets to select a specific material), the default material (in this case material "No material selected") will be active. In this way, we can see in one view across the BOM which parts have no material assigned yet.
How can this be achieved in the content center (editor)?

Nov 1, 2012Is there a way to save a custom artboard setup with a custom document profile in illustrator cs5? I do technical illustrations and our page size is odd (7.19 x 8.96. It the size that our Framemaker layout is set to.). I have a custom document profile that I use, but I use the grids all the time so that my callouts are spaced out evenly around the art. I would like to have a way to set the artboard up so that the grid will align to the center of the artboard everytime I turn them on. Right now they always start from the top left and when I center art in the center of the page, the grid spacing isn't the same on each side of the art. I just want to be able to open my document profile, turn on my grids, have them start from the center, and I can get down to business. As it is now I have to go into my artboard settings and manually adjust the grid to the center. Small annoyance, but it still annoys me. I have tried to save it a few different ways, but nothing has worked. Maybe there just isn't a way.

Dec 18, 2012how to place a 2 line text under a custom button.I tried to mimic some of the std button but it didn't work.
Attachment 1 is the std Tool Palette and User Interface buttons in the Manage Panels.
You can notice that the name is User Interface on the left and UserInterface on the right.
Attachment 2 is my button, on the left I CANNOT edit the name and on the right any changes automatically edit the left name.
At the end I would like my button the appears with one line: Extract and under Maint.
