In the past week or two, I took time to re-create the tool button config in PSP14 that I've used for many years in Paint Shop Pro. However, the next day I see PSP14 has reset to the DEFAULT toolbars!!
Why did this happen? Was it failure to SAVE the configuration? Are my toolbars lost now? any way to restore besides button-by-button reconfig?
Assume I have to increase oftentimes but not always the brightness of digital photos by a certain value (e.g. 20). The contrast should be 0.Ok, I could go now (in PSP X2) to menu
Adjust--->Brightness and Contrast---->Brightness/Contrast
then manually adjust the values and click OK.However these multiple steps is somehow unhandy. Even if I put the Brightess/contrast icon into the toolbar I still have always to adjust the actual values.
I want to perform this operation by ONE click.Is there a way to put a customized icon into toolbar which (when clicked) performs always the brightness/contrast operation with my pre-defined values regardless which values are set up currently in the "normal" brightness/Contrast dialog?

I try to add a new toolbar to my "edit" menu on PainshopPro X5 but i cannot find it ? This toolbar is in the "photo gestion" tab, but i want to add it on my "edit photo" tab !

Version 1.5.0.12 (the SP2 patch was installed). But I'm unable to figure out how to setup screen capture because that option is grayed out. I'm unable to complete Step 1 due to the latter issue. That is: File | Import | Screen Capture | Setup; I can never reach the fourth selection.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen dealing with vector, it is just to click in image with "pick tool" to appear a tool bar where object align/distribution is available.
But when dealing with raster, this tool isn't available. The only way I found is through "menu=> objects=>align". To raster images, is there similar vector tool bar to access direct object align/distribution?
Have only recently purchased and installed X5. I am coming from PSPv9 (and doing so reluctantly.)
I am attempting to duplicate the tool toolbar that I am use to in PSPv9 in X5. I have been successful except for one group. In PSPv9, the Dropper tool and the Color Replacer tool are in the same group. I have been able to create a new Button Group and place both tools into it. What I can not figure out is how to have the new button group display an icon. All other groups display the icon of the first tool in the group listing.
I recently got a new computer, with Windows Vista. I used my wife's existing CD to install Paint Shop Pro 7 (from 2001 - yikes!). It seems fine, except for a few of the preferences. The BIG problem is that the [Printer] button on the Page Setup dialog no longer appears! Here's the verbiage from the PaintShopPro7 user guide:
6To surround the image with a color, click the Background button. When the Color dialog box opens, choose the color. The area of the paper from the image edge to the paper margin will be covered with this color.
7Click the Printer button to open the printer.
8Click OK to close the dialog box and save the settings.
For some reason I've lost all of the keyboard shortcuts. When I pull down a menu item, for instance FILE, the "Save As" item no longer has "CTRL-A" next to it. These shortcuts are gone for everything in PSP. Is there any way to get them back without either adding them all by hand or re-installing?

I did not "Save" the altered image. Autosave is turned off.
I was using the warp brush tool (Paint Shop Pro X4) and for a stupid manipulation the tool bar where I had the value related with the brush tool slipped away. Now I 'm not able to recover it and I cannot change the dimension of the brush of the warp brush tool. I don't know what to do and I'm in trouble. I have tried all the tool bars but it doesn't appear anymore. How can I change the dimension of the warp brush tool without that?

Yesterday I purchased the ultimate bonus pack online ( Winzip,Painter Essentials, User Guide,KTP and Photolooks) from Corel.The photo looks plugin installed with no problem. The Corel KPT Collection (PSPPX3_KPT_01 set up file) would not install giving me the following error message"The path to the language folder could not be resolved, setup cannot continue".I use Win 7 64 bit

I found where PSP saves the temp files and I recovered several of them. Is it possible to use these files to recover my data?

I got a message to install service pack 1 this morning. Since then every time I load PSP the workspace is the default workspace and all of the tools I had added to the toolbars are missing. If I load my custom workspace from the load menu, it makes no difference, it just refreshes the screen and nothing changes. Also every time I load the program it displays the Learning Center and Organizer tabs, even though I keep disabling them.
I tried resetting everything back to the defaults but it doesn't work. Should I do a new re-install or is there something I'm missing?
We are a firm using ACAD 2011 w/ a custom toolbar that has an Auto Purge "tool" it currently deletes duplicated layers, reg ops, duped scales etc. we are wondering what else it can do (or any other tools that may be of use) or how can we get it to do more for us, like restrict referencing files from "unwanted" locations and any other tools that are essential to reducing the size of a drawing so its now so slow
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to save a custom artboard setup with a custom document profile in illustrator cs5? I do technical illustrations and our page size is odd (7.19 x 8.96. It the size that our Framemaker layout is set to.). I have a custom document profile that I use, but I use the grids all the time so that my callouts are spaced out evenly around the art. I would like to have a way to set the artboard up so that the grid will align to the center of the artboard everytime I turn them on. Right now they always start from the top left and when I center art in the center of the page, the grid spacing isn't the same on each side of the art. I just want to be able to open my document profile, turn on my grids, have them start from the center, and I can get down to business. As it is now I have to go into my artboard settings and manually adjust the grid to the center. Small annoyance, but it still annoys me. I have tried to save it a few different ways, but nothing has worked. Maybe there just isn't a way.

View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing X4 on Windows 7. I'm trying to create a series of custom edges to supplement those already supplied in X4. I've created the edge ok and exported it as a frame and it works ok. The problem is selecting it in the dropdown menu under Image/picture frames. Whereas the thumbnails of the supplied edges have grey shading to represent the transparent section of the edge, mine don't, they are just plain white and that makes it difficult to know what edge to select. What have I done wrong? I've opened a couple of the supplied edges and they look similar to mine ie no shading.

using the inbuilt red eye removal tool under the adjust drop down has proven quite useful, but I am limited in terms of iris colors. none of the default colors seem to be a good match for his own eye color and they are noticeably inaccurate in the final result. is there any way to either mix the default iris colors then save the new color, or add extra colors any other way?
I know you can custom size the selection tool by pixel position, but Is it possible to set the custom size of the selection tool to inches? For example I would like to have a custom size of 5 x 7 inches so I can place over an area and simple copy and then paste that 5 x 7 selection as a new image.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust today, while making graphics and such, my custom fonts just stopped working all together. Every single one that I have installed just shows up as nothing and is un-selectable when using it. The one in particular that i was using is Bebas Neue. Although all installed fonts are not working either.This happened out of the blue and I don't remember hitting anything or changing anything. Just typing with the font and it refused to show.
Steps Taken:
1. Reset All Preferences
2. Shift Key Trick on Load Up
3. Restarting the Computer
4. Reinstalling PSP X2
5. Using the font in other programs - Which they WORK (Word, GIMP, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
6. Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Font itself.
I have modified one of the toolbars (Text toolbar) with many useful for me commands. Many of them are not visible when this toolbar is "docked" to Corel's interface, that's why I want to view it floating.
But because there is "Object Information" from Status Bar, and it is only one line (very wide indeed, and I cannot find a way to make it in two or more lines of text (?)) this toolbar became very wide and I want to hide and show it with a shortcut. It is annoying to right click on interface, to click on "Text" to open when I need it, and to go to "x" to close it all the time.
Now I am looking to find a way to assign a shortcut to open and close it. Is this possible in CorelDRAW X6?
