I need to create a template that can be quickly and easily changed out week to week. So I need to adjust the colors of photos but add that to any photo I choose week after week.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDue to my familiarity with Inkscape, I did this in Gimp. I chose the Select tool ( R ) and selected several images in one column. I thought, that I would see all the boxed-in layers selected for easy duplication, but nope.
So how can I quickly/easily select a box-full of layers at once, a la Inkscape?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi regularly have to print out colours for sublimating fabric, and use illustrator to create a panel of blends to print out.
I put four colours in the corners, make an 18 step blend or the top two, then the bottom two, expand them then ungroup them, and then change the blend options to 8 steps and blend them vertically one by one.
all in all it's several minutes work, but i thought i could change the values of the four corners, and then use actions to blend the grid.
initially it stopped and told me ungroup was unavailable, so i created smaller steps, but still can't get it to work.
is this possible, or do i carry on manually crating grids? or is there another way?
possibilities to create water surface in Gimp. I found a simple way that creates the water surface mostly found in 3d games. Further you can create ripples animation using script-fu called water waves.
Follow steps below.

The basic info is my name, address, copywrite, etc. I had created this on a previous version of Photoshop and was able to migrate it to PS6. In elements 11 layers is there a way to create a white mobile template that sits over a background picture? I need to create a white boarder around a standard 4x6 picture, to create a picture with very specific dimensions, to expedite the trimming process on the final print. View 2 Replies View RelatedI would like to utilise the Layout Element: Reference System to draw the grid lines and grid values on paper space viewports.
But.I am working in South Africa. The WGS Lo systems are opposite to the northern hemisphere, positive is heading south not north. To solve this, most drawing offices (including ours) just reverse the signs of X and Y values.
Now you can see why I cannot use the Layout Element Reference System templates provided with Map. I need to change sign the X and Y text values.
How do I create a Reference System Template?
These are provided with Map:
Latitude-Longitude
Military Grid Reference System
United States National Grid
Custom map coordinate system
I tried to use 'Custom map coordinate system' but it is a fixed template, it does not provide change sign as needed.

My target: in AutoCAD pops a dialog, select filename (related to our internal projects) string, then it will create a DWG file from a template DWT file. Then some operation like insert elements into the DWG file and then SAVE (with the filename assigned).

Well it doesn't work on either of #1-4
#1 give out "eFileInternalErr" exception, which I found the answer - you can't call save() if it's open from exist file
#2 works ... but it just save the contents we write to the database but won't save template file contents, ie. we have put in layers inside the template file but they doesn't save to the new file
#3 give out "drawing is busy" error, no clue why it's "busy" ...
#4 give out same error as #3
I'm trying to create a gift card in Illustrator. When I initally create new document under "File", I set the width to 3.5" and height 2.25" and the top, bottom, left and right bleed to .125". There wasn't an option to preset the radius of corners for the gift card. The gift card appears square in the document like a business card. How do I create the rounded corners of gift card in Adobe Illustrator CS5 (PC)? Lastly how far do I inset the dash line where text (or QR code) will be positioned? I wish to be able to save gift card document as a template for future projects.
View 10 Replies View RelatedOn a particular project, when I go to 'SHARE' CREATE DISC' DVD' NEXT' I am unable to change the Menu template. An error message box tells me 'Failed to change menu template'
Program then hangs, if I try to close, I get another error message 'The program has encountered an unspecified error, Contact Corel technical support and send the dump file for analysis' The message goes on to specify an address for the dump file which I can not find.
Other projects work normally, I am able to change menu templates and create DVD discs.
Even with the offending project, I am able to create a Video file without problem.
I was wondering if a template used to create frames using the create frame tool in autocad civil 3D should have the same datum, projection as the files that are being referenced? Or is the template independent from from the reference files and does not need any datum, projection setting applied to it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOne of my customers has come to me with a job of engraving and cutting out personalised seat name tags for large football/soccer stadiums upto 75,000 tags.This will envolve engraving seat numbers and details in to a sheet of acrylic 600mm x 600mm in size (each tag is 80mm x 40mm so approx 78 per sheet)
Whilst I can design the template or drawing quite easliy, I can't seem to get the data from the .csv file (each tag will have 3 records in it. SEAT NUMBER, NAME, MESSAGE) in to just one page / template. when I use the print merge function all I can seem to produce is 78 pages of one seat tag each.
I'm sure there must be a way of producing the 78 tag template so I can just import the relivant data, but I'll be a monkeys uncle if I can find it....
I have been tasked with trying to create some type of template (or multiple templates, if needed) to convert my coordinates (some having straight lines and some having arcs) into a script file. I will be gathering the coordinates from an excel file then linking them to my script file.
My problem is, I have hundreds of sets of coordinates (all with varying arcs and straight lines and varying order in which arcs and lines are used) in which I'm trying to establish a method to convert to a script file. Also, the total number of lines (arcs and straight) vary. Some have as little as 10 lines and some contain as many as 20 lines total.
I have successfully created a script file using one set of coordinates but can't imagine doing this hundreds of times over. I have attached a PDF file showing an example of the coordinates along with the radii (in some cases there is no radius, therefore must be a straight line) and how I can accomplish this without creating a script file for each and every set of coordinates I have. The example I have is only a small portion of what I am working with.
