I just bought Photoshop CS4 upgrade (have CS2) and 1) it now crashes when I try to load any image, 2) it says my first seriel number from CS2 is invalid and 3) it shows I have CS3 Extended. What is the EASIEST and QUICKEST way to get a refund on this since I do not feel like tackling three major issues at once! I just want to go back to CS2 and refund my 185 bucks! By the way, I did a CS4 trial a month ago and had the same crashing issue when trying to load an image as I am now.
I tried loading Adobe Photoshop/Imageready. During the loading, once it gets to "loading color preferences" it shuts itself down. I have tried reinstalling, restoring, rebooting, repeating. And I can't seem to fix the problem. Today I decided to search the adobe site for troubleshooting guides. All I could find, told me to find and remove my preferences file. So i searched, and searched. I can't find it anywhere. I removed Adobe and everything Adobe from my computer, and tried again to reinstall. During the loading I recieved this dialog box.
I've been using Adobe products for over a decade and have never seen an issue like this. It just won't load. I've uninstalled, used the clean tool & reinstalled - rebooting prior to each step - and I can't get photoshop to load past the 'loading brushes...' message in the opening loading graphic. Prior to the issue I was playing with extendscript and loading them into PS, but I've since deleted all scripts and, as mentioned, wiped the entire suite. Â Following is my crash report. I am having PSE 11 "stop working " when launched. Seems to be related to corrupt catalogs. If I delete the catalog, then I am able to open up the Organizer. However, when I build a new catalog, it oftens crashes. I have disabled all the analyzer functions but keeps recurring. I have been successful in building a small catalog consisting of approximately 400 JPGs. However, larger catalogs aren't successful.
Have CS3 photoshop on Windows 7 platform that crashes when loading jpg from email. It installs fine and then on several occassions when opening an email photo, it will freeze and gives message Licensing for this product has stopped working You cannot use this product at this time and must remove and install again
I successfully installed CorelDraw X6 but I am unable to open it. It starts to load and then it crashes. At first I thought it was a bad install, so I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still won't open. Norton AV was turned off during both installs. I have searched and see that quite a few users have the same problem but I haven't found a cause or solution. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit, Intel i7, 16 GB ram.
I have the entire subscription of  'Corel 6X'. I have been using it for a few months with no problems, even after I did the 8.1 update. Now all programs will load and run except for 'Draw 6X', it starts to load and then it will start to 'load environment' and then crash. As I said above, every other part of the suite open and run fine.
I can give you no information about updates or version as it won't load so I could check for updates. I searched for other post, and it returned no other similar problems listed for 'Draw 6X'. If I get no answers I'll just un/re install that program itself and see if that fixes things.
I am on a Dell PC with plenty of everything running Win 8.1 64 bit and running the online yearly subscription of 'CorelDraw 6X' 64 bit version that was up to date and working fine on 8.1 fine for more than a month. Now the 'splash' screen shows and gets to 'loading environment' and then the quaint Win window comes out 'There is a problem and windows has to close this program'.
why our copies of AutoCAD MEP 2012 seem to hang when loading the default dwt files? On the splash screen it details all the files being loaded and when it gets to the dwt file it just hangs at 0%. In the windows task manager, acad.exe stops using memory (around 90megs) and the cpu stops too. It's get's really frustrating, especially as it only seems to affect our new Dell Optiplex's and a couple of our old Dell Precisions. Some of them work first time every time, no probs. All PC's are Windows 7 Pro 64bit and running the latest service packs for AutoCAD.
After downloading the Autodesk Inventor 2013, I was forced to download the hotfix. I completed the download, and started up Inventor. My force closed crash report directed me to the most updated update, which I then installed to no avail. I've sent an additional crash report, but I've yet to recieve any feedback. When I go to either load the .ipt blank file, or even close the welcome center tab (to be able to access the tools to troubleshoot) It shuts down.

I am having a problem with AutoCAD crashing without fully loading. I will get the splash screen and the application background will momentarily appear with "AutoCAD 2011" in the title bar then it will all disappear with no visible error message. By checking ACD2011ENUAdlm.log in  C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataAutodeskAdlm I get the following error message:  3536 2010/10/04 10:05:39 Reason=Fatal error
Photoshop C3 has been loading even the smallest of photo files very slowly -- about 10-15 seconds for one.
it might be a networked printer, but the printer on this computer is NOT networked.
I'm running Windows XP, latest update, with 3 gig of RAM. And we have deleted and reloaded the Photoshop program and updated it to make sure it's not a file goober in the program.
I have a large number of images in my Dell 8250 (>12,000) Lately when I try to start PS7 it crashes when it hits "Sorting fonts" Am also having trouble with Outlook Express crashing when I try to attach image file to an e-mail. Have uninstalled and reinstalled PS7 four times to no avail. Any suggestions appreciated. 512mb memory. 120gig Hard disc.
IT was all working perfectly until today. I have LR 5 and cannot zoom in on any photo anymore. LR says "Loading" and does not do anything. Also, I tried to tell LR to build 1:1 Previews, and LR initiates but does nothing.
I downloaded "Bebas" font, but I can't make it work in Photo Paint X4 because it's not showing in Font Navigator. I made sure it is in the font directory and even restarted my pc.
I select the photo, click next and program instantly crashes. Â Further email attachments does not work. Brings up an email window which i've not seen before and says no email account assigned. Yahoo is my default client.
Everytime I open photoshop to edit a simple photo it crashes. Almost as soon as I press clone tool or any other tool it crashes. Its not my computer, or the space on my computer or my video drives. I was going to uninstall then re-install but I am scared because I have the CD but not my serial number.
Photoshop Elements 8 (version 8.0). This is first time I tried to use photo downloader from Adobe Bridge (CS4 3.0.0.464) with my iphone 4s. It crashes every time. Have been to preferences and deleted adobe.downloader.plist. Still crashes.
my animation takes around two seconds to load within my browser. Is there a way to display a loading symbol such as spinning circle, that will show the animation is loading, then disappear once it is ready to display?
I cannot use image sprayer in Photo Paint. The moment I select the tool, Photo paint crashes!!! I have downloaded service packs, tried to repair to no avail.
I'm currently working on a site which is almost 95% complete. The loading time for the site is approx 7-10 seconds which seems to be slow. I have placed a preloader but that doesn't seem to be coming up while the site is loading. Â Is there anyway to speed up the loading time. Like some code that will tell it load specific number of frames first and then load the rest in the background? Â I have compressed the images that are being used but cannot compress further as they may lose the quality.I've got the preloader working and now it seems to be showing up while the site is loading. Is there any way to speed up the loading time.
Downloaded the trial - Installed fine, loads fine, everything seems to work fine except the effects menu.
As soon as I try to open the effects menu it crashes... this happens in both Win7 x64 AND Win8 x64 (tried for fun) Â Corel X5 works fine in both, BUT its the 32 bit version... wonder if i should try that
The Coreldraw Graphics Suite X5 is my first foray into this product since version 3 (way back when). PhotoPaint supports CR2 files.
Except that in my case it doesn't do so consistently. Files from my Canon 5D MkII occasionally open fine (just this evening, I started getting a problem withe these as well), but 7D files consistently crash the program and I have to exit.
I have SP3 installed.
This machine is a 6-month old 64-bit HP desktop (AMD multi-core processor) with 8 GB of RAM. Photoshop, Lightroom, Painter 12, and PSP X4 work without incident and open all supported files smoothly.
What to do when trying to import a jpeg photo through the media brower and PPCS6 crashes? It all started when the program crashed while I was editing. I installed an upgrade to CS6 and rebooted. After that I could not import photos into the project.
