I am constantly forced to reinstall frutiger for it to show up in the Photoshop list after each time i restart the computer...What's going on!? I ran the font checked script from the adobe help site and it didn't find any corrupt fonts or anything.
The font was bought from linotype.
Is there a way to force the table and table text height to stay constant despite the scale? I can do it for Point Label Styles with an Expression. But in 2011 there is no way to build an expression for a table style.
I want to create tables in the drawing where the points are and then plot them from a drawing they're Xrefed in to. The tables are too small but zooming in doesn't make them any bigger because the scale of the viewport changes and they adjust.
How can I force all users in a domain to load the same add-ins with Inventor Professional 2012?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMost of the designs require some unique font to get the desired effect. Most likely, we'd search the web for one, download it, use it and discard it. We don't wanna keep all these single-use fonts installed. It would be great if we can load a font in to PDN by just browsing for it using a file dialog. I think Photoshop lets you drag and drop a font to its main window and till let you use it for that session. When you exit the application, the font is unloaded.
Can this be supported? Of course, there is a workaround: Use a font manager app. But, I think it's a pretty good feature to have in a image editor never the less
I have a Mac on 10.7 running cs6 Illustrator. I have been able to load fonts into Font Book but when opening the document I get the error below. This is only happening on one mac out of 6 that use this font. I have tried fixing permissions and clearing the font cash.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter mucking around with the settings (trying to find out what all the features do), I found that each one of my brush-strokes would underlap the last.
In other words, I drew a green line down the center of the screen (using the paintbrush tool). When I try to draw a red circle (also using the paintbrush) over the center of the green line, the green line overlaps it. Both were on the same layer.
How do I turn this off?
I've tried restarting Photoshop, searching the documentation, asking buddies, and rummaging through the features again.

I am encountering persistent program crashes with Photoshop 11 (CS4) when I have multiple layers (four or more) and the file size exceeds 75 mb. The error message that Photoshop has encountered a problem and is closing appears without further details. When I reopen PS, I then get the message about "Photoshop encountering a problem with the display driver and disabled GPU enhancement" despite the fact that I previously unchecked enable OpenGL drawing in the preferences-performance tab. It is blank on that tab after "Detected Video Card" whereas in CS3, it correctly notes the following video card. My video card is nVidia GeForce 7600 GT with the latest driver dated 10/07/08.I have 4 GB of RAM, however in the performance tab of preferences it notes 1.633 GB AM available and Photoshop using 960 mb. I also have CS3 (PS10) and do not encounter the same problem. The OS is Vista.

I experience a high cpu problem when i want to zoom in the picture, then sometimes the cpu load of the CS6 process is constant on 25%. I tried the graphic advanced settings in CS6 from light, normal, extended. With the light setting it happens not so often, but sometimes it is there.
My driver version is 310.90, but this happened also with previous versions or with beta 313.96.My graphic card is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock with two different monitors connected.
I want to buy a newer Nvidia card in the near future, but it would be not so good if the problems persists.I can work more or less with CS6, that is not the problem, but the constant cpu load bothers me.
We recently upgraded our Adobe Creative Suite from CS3 to CS6. Now I am experiencing issues with Photoshop CS6 I have not seen in previous versions, it seems it cannot save files across a network any longer. If I try to work normally, saving my files to a folder on our server, PS crashes constantly. The new recovery mode is handy but time and space consuming= inefficient for our workflow. My work around is to save files to my Mac, and then copy them to the server later, which is Archaic and also inefficient. When I try to save a PS CS6 .eps to the server, it does not work any longer, I get the message; Program Error or a freeze and crash of Photoshop CS6.
View 5 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop has been crashing on me lately. Glitching. Getting locked in brush mode so I'm unable to click on other options. Not showing brush radius at times etc. It is also opening a "auto recovery" image every time I boot the program which shows as a .psb file that I am unable to find on my computer. Going to the location shown in the save as window seems to not show when I manually go that location on my computer system. I took a screen shot of the file and it's location.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was using CS5.1 for a while with no problems. Everything went well until one day it gave me an error on hardware acceleration. All it did was give me a scrubby zoom. I spent a few days researching it and eventually gave up on finding a solution.
So I thought I'd try out CS6, to see if it fixed anything. It doesn't. It's worse, even. It crashes randomly at various actions (like switching tools, changing layers, saving), and it crashes without fail if I use liquefy or transform a layer and then try to duplicate it (I'm just trying to make a gif, darnit!) If I'm just drawing and erasing and using undo, it doesn't crash as much. Scrubby zoom is still a problem.
My driver is up to date according to the HP website:Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver2010-12-03 , Version:8.15.10.2189, 78.05MIt's really old, but HP isn't updating it. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Moot point.The driver is compatible with OpenGL.
I also tried this driver, but apparently it's not compatible.
Additional info/things I've tried: Processor: Intel Core i5 CPU M 450 @ 2.40GHZ 2.40 GHzRAM: 4GBSystem type: 64-bit No third-party plug-ins. 60% memory available to Photoshop. I Have to force quit Photoshop CS5 in order to get it to quit at all? Then it takes quit azwhile to quit after which a user report comes up to be sent in to Adobe.
I have tried opening it resetting the prefs file, to no avail.
I have a client that wants to put in a constant flow into an inlet and have SSA calculate the HGL downstream of that (as well as add additional flows at additional inlets). Is there a way to do this? I tried adding an "Initial flow" to a pipe but after running the analysis, that flow wasn't the peak of the pipe (I used 1cfs for the initial flow and the peak was 0.77 cfs).
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm seeing Premiere Pro CC (7.2.1) constantly crash with a few projects when I try to export. The common thread (as I can see) are that they were all started in earlier versions of Premiere.
I'll finish editing, then hit Ctrl-M (or Export -> Media), and Premiere sits idle for a moment, then it crashes. Importing the project sequence in AME allows for encode though.
Checking the event viewer in Windows turns up that the ntdll.dll might have something to do with it.

I work with full screen mode, and the only place I see the file name is in the history palette and it's usually cut off. anything I can do without having to go to standard screen mode.

It's really frustrating because it will do this all the time with small assemblies, big assemblies, parts, it doesn't matter. It also can be at any random moment from rotating the model to adding a constraint to saving. It doesn't seem to have any real pattern it just seems to happen all the time.
View 9 Replies View RelatedC3D2012..I have an assembly with left and right curb subassemblies, they are spaced about 1 m apart. I want to connect the BOC's with a constant slope median. I bring in the median and connect it to the Left BOC and it attaches, but shoots the median for 20 m across the assembly to the right. I tried to put a marked point on the right BOC prior to bringing in the median assembly, but the same thing happens. I changed the marked point name to RTC (Right Top Curb) and also changed the name to match in the median subassembly, with the same results.
Any proper way to insert the median and get it to connect properly.
in order to obtain a seabed profile for a school project, I need to get the Y coordinate of a polyline on several Kilometers with a fxed X step of 2m between each point.
For the moment, the only manual solution I have found is to create a vertical line every 2m and to get the distance between the intersection of this line with my polyline and an horizontal line representing the mean sea level.
Is there any way to automatize it because it is very long to do manually and I don't have enough time ?
I did not succeed in doing this with dataExtraction. I also found on the internet a LISP file which extract the coordinates of points contained in the window. Nevertheless, I was told it is not possible to create automatically points on a curved polyline with a fixed x step.
What I need at the end is an excel file of this type to use it in another software:

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to design a shower mosaic, using small (3/4") tiles. I have a certain color palette, dictated by where I buy the tiles
And convert it to a mosaic that only uses colors from the tiles. I could then play with tiles of different sizes or a bigger/smaller palette until I was happy with it, and use the Photoshop image as the pattern when I put them in.
I know how to create a mosaic with squares of size x. What I don't know is how to tell Photoshop to take an image and create a mosaic forcing it (as best as it can) into a specified color palette.
I'm using VideoStudio X3 and installed SP2, but creating AVCHD files constantly crashes machine.
Using AVCHD videos and overlaying text, then ouputting using preset AVCHD > PAL HD 1440
99% of time just crashes, which makes program unusable!!
I recently installed VideoStudio Pro X3. Whenever I play back anything I tried edit the program crashes and a dump file error shows. I have tried using the smart proxy without success. I am trying to edit HD files *.mov. The files are only a couple of minutes so that should not be an issue. I also tried closing all other programs. When I try and playback I can only see a couple of seconds before it crashes. I am wondering if my computer does not have the resources to edit HD. I have 1024 MB of Ram.
