Last week I had to reformat my computer and reinstall Photoshop CS2. I can no longer find a font I was using for a project, and I am pretty sure it was a Photoshop font because I don't think i ever added fonts. It is called "Motorwerk".
I went through a system restore yesterday. Im not sure how maybe somebody scheduled it without me knowing. Anyway I have tried and tried to reinstall Paint Shop Pro X5 but something pops up saying "Your system has not been modified. To complete istallation another time, please run setup again."
Due to reinstalling VideoStudio 10 Plus because of a reported problem with Service Pack 1 [URL], I have lost the clips I placed in special Library Manager folders I had created. Are those gone for good or is there a way to relocate them on my computer?
I am constantly forced to reinstall frutiger for it to show up in the Photoshop list after each time i restart the computer...What's going on!? I ran the font checked script from the adobe help site and it didn't find any corrupt fonts or anything. Â The font was bought from linotype.
I have a strange problem with one of our library blocks.
For panel schedules and light fixture schedules, we have DWG block files, and we insert them into our drawings and explode them for editing.
The light fixture schedule loses all of its font attributes when we do this. It looks fine when you insert the block, but once you explode the block all the font information is lost. Interestingly, if you insert the block and go into the block editor, the block editor doesn't show the fonts correctly even though the un-exploded block does show the fonts correctly.
An important detail in all of this is that the panel schedules are just drawings (lines, text, hatches, etc.). The light fixture schedule is a table.
I'll attach some pictures showing what I'm talking about and the DWG block file.
I tried Nexus font (finally) and don't see why people have mentioned it. I don't like it and uninstalled it quickly.Which font manager do you think is better than Font Nav?
I recently downloaded Photoshop CC, but there is a fault with Generator that has persisted, so I have to reinstall the application.  First question: do I have to uninstall the application first?  Second question: do I just then redownload it?  Third question: or is there an option just to reinstall?  By the way, adobe - this is a bummer - it takes ages to download. I hope that this isn't a recurrent theme...
I am having trouble with PS cs3 and want to reilnstall it or rather change some settingsi go to control panel selet add remove softwareselect change for adobe cs3 premium and nothing happens ...
I have run into a small problem. I had to re-image a portion of my laptop, due to some "illigal actions" that caused some of my windows files to become corrupt/lost/damaged/unable to work. In that, I lost the regestry key (or whatever it is) for Photoshop, that is installed on another drive.
Is there a way to "recover" the regestry files without reinstalling everything?? I have all the instalation stuff on hand (or i can find them with very little searching), so thats not the issue. I had some problems with my computer actually accepting the CD at times when i installed the first time, so im trying to avoid that a second time.
I recently had to carry out a system restore following which when I tried to use my PS3 suite a window came up saying I could not use it and I must uninstall and then reinstall PS3. I am not the best with computers but that seemed quite simple to do however, I did not realize that I should have de-activated my PS3 before uninstallation so I just did a straight uninstall through the control panel. Now, when I try to reinstall I just get the following messsage - Errors 3 componentsAdobe Creative Suite 3 Design standard - Component install failedAdobe Photoshop CS3 - Component install failedShared components - Component install failed I assume that there must be stuff left on the computer following the uninstall that is causing this problem but I just don't know where to start or what to do to remove it. Can anyone help me with this bearing in mind that I am not that good with computers?
I'm on an HP laptop - Win XP Home Edition - 1 gb RAM, plenty of space.
So, after major, continuous crashing in Photoshop CS3, I decided to see if CS4 would work ok. It was nice, but I let the trial expire and decided to continue to see if 3 would get in gear.
I removed the trial software (i thought)
Today, I uninstalled CS3, so I could reinstall the whole thing rather than repairing it. It won't reinstall because the CS4 files have been moved.
is there some way to completely wipe out all reference to 4?
After rebuilding my XP system, I've NEVER been able to reinstall PS CS3. I will not rebuild the system again. Went through a dozen different tries suggested by support.
Will I have more luck installing CS4 or should I live with CS2 and some other brands tools?
I bought CS2 and registered it about 4 years ago. I've had it installed in the same computer ever since.
Just recently I had virus problems and Dell re-set my computer back to factory settings. The Geek Squad backed up all my photos and documents, but I have to re-install all the software.
I installed CS2 and the last step was to put in my serial number, which I did. I got a message insinuating that I didn't have a legit copy. I called Adobe, and they told me that it was the correct number. But, they flat out refused to give me any 'technical help' as to why I can't complete the installation.
I read some of the questions here and am now thinking I was supposed to have uninstalled the software. But I didn't. So, it must be looking like I'm someone else trying to get the program for free. I just don't know.
Was using CS3 but HDD started going bad. Had to use a new HDD and install OS, CS3, etc. I'd like to copy CS3 setup/customization files from the old HDD to the new HDD. Specifically, I'd like to copy my created metadata templates (where EXIF data was automatically added when uploading photos into Bridge), my created Keywords in Bridge Keywords tab, Bridge Workspace layout for Horizontal Layout #2, etc. Anyone know where these files are stored? I had defined a few simple custom Actions but didn't specifically save them so I read that these are probably lost. I mention this in case someone knows how to retrieve them.
My computer crashed, had to purchase a new Windows 8 machine. I reinstalled Photoshop CS2 and then installed the upgrade to CS5. I noticed that both versions are on my computer. It seems that the upgrade didn't overwrite the CS2. Do they share files, or can I uninstall CS2?
After download stopped, it says that Photoshop is up to date. When I tried to open it, it was an incomplete/corrupt file. How can I re-install on Mac running on 10.9?
I have had my computer reformatted and all software deleted in the process. I have been using CS5 extended for a few years now. When I went back in to upload my recent purchase of CS6 Upgrade which I have been using for the past 3 months..it doesn't recognize my serial number to the upgrade.Â
Working with a friend revamp his computer. He has PSCS versions 3,4,5 and 6 installed on different hard drives. What is the best way to uninstall everything and reinstall his CS6 on his C drive?
I can't seem to get to the CS4 Photoshop downloads online. My new Mac Pro Retina has no CD so I cant re install from that.Tried going through my Adobe ID still eludes me. workshop on the weekend.
I am not able to reinstall photoshop cc. I have run the cleaner and restarted my computer but I am still getting an error message: Exit Code: 6 P.For example,Â
