I'm using Photoshop CS6 Extended version. I'm unable to use the colors. When I select any color, it defaults to the Grey for both foreground and the background. I have tried to use the brush as well as the font with not success.
View 4 RepliesI installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?

I did not ask for this, I do not want this, I bought, paid for and registered the regular version on the day it was released. I am not renting the software via that stupid creative clod thing, I bought it the regular way. What is happening here? Is this going to happen every time they release a minor update? View 608 Replies View RelatedI recently graduated from ps3 extended to ps5 extended ( was very use to the ps3 version) . Now am having problems when working with multiple pics in the ps5 extended version. I am unable to float mult, pics and or be able to minimize them to pull up another.
I also need the screen mode with the menu bar at the top to be able to minimize etc and select different pic. This seem to be the Workspace default in ps3 extended and I was very use to that....with the ps5 it is def not the default and is set to standard screen mode ( from the top selections) and I keep having to go the the top and select full screen mode with menu bar to even have my tools....then select float multiple pics to have the options of minimizing or max?....
A .psd file with layers created in a full version of Photoshop CS6 does not show the layers in my CS6 Extended version. I am still using the trial version of Extended pending registration.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just recently (yesterday) became a member of the creative cloud. Now I am aware that my subscription (full individual subscription) allows me to use Photoshop CS6 Extended.
I previously had Photoshop CS6 Standard installed (my suspicion why it's not working properly) removed it and downloaded Photoshop via Application Manager, but it's still not the Extended version.
Also is there a way to keep the downloads because I'm constantly using photoshop at work (one of my main tools) and having to uninstalling and re downloading (which seems to take forever) is not the best solution.

I tried to reload the Application Manager because it says it is corrupt. When I click on the link provided by Adobe I get this warning from my security software. Adobe Cleaner Tool.exe containing HEUR:Trojan.Win32.KillFiles.What do I need to do to get rid of the trial version and to get my old CS6 to function again?Do I need to completely erase PS CS6?

I always make sure my virus/firewall software is switched off whenever installing and I have tried many troubleshooting solutions to solve the problem, but everytime I keep getting this error message come up.
Attached is an image of a frame-generated assembly. The (5) cross members on the left of the image are identical to the (5) cross members on the right (same family, size, & material). However the (5) on the left were originally made in an earlier version of Inventor (probably 2009), & I just added the (5) on the right in Inventor 2014.
The older members have been migrated to the current version, yet you can see a clear color difference between the new version & the old version. Why is it that the colors do not match.
I recently purchased a new laptop and i would like to install Adobe elements 11 on the new machine. I have the serial number of 11 download so I thought I could picup the trial version online and enter my serial number. However I have been unable to find the trial version (a lot of site say the have it but spend most of the time trying to redirect you to something else.

When I try to use a bright color, it doesn't work - it just automatically adjusts itself to different shade. Now, I figure this is an issue with my color setting, but I can't figure it out.
I attached an image of what I''m talking about below. You can see that although I've chosen to a bright green - it shows up much differently.
Why can't I get my Epson Printer to print the colors on the monitor> First time this is happening. Printer is new...ink okay...and history with the printer has been okay. Took some photo's yesterday...blue heron, picking up a fish in a pond. Water is blue...heron is grey and white and has other yellowish and maroon coloring as well. The fish he caught was a gold fish. The colors on the monitor are wonderful.
The photo's were cropped severely. But are still clear. Now the water is pink...and the heron is a disgusting color of grey green. Have chosen ICM...chosen Adobe color profile. Used premium glossy white papers, Epson inks.
Tried printing it out without ICM and with different papers....still the same...Either everything is hot pink, or dull gray brown. This was my first ever heron photo that had any merit, and I so want to print it out for everyone to see. I was so lucky to catch the fishing capture. Does the cropping have anything to do with the printing of the photo?
We are surveyors working in Civil 3D 2013. We sometimes need to export drawings back to previous versions for architects. This can produce unpredictable results. It was suggested to use the command PROXYGRAPHICS, change it to 1, and then export to a previous version. This worked on some drawings.
Yesterday, however, I tried this method and the architect sent me back a PDF saying this is what it looked like in model space when he opened it.
Unable to install Photoshop CS4 extended. Trying to setup it under Vista 32-bit, starting from trial version. Whet setup is completed the last installation screen says that "You need to reinstall teh programm vecause some errors occurres during installation... bla-bla-bla.. please reinstall after PC reboot".

View 6 Replies View RelatedCurrently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
unable to select "printer manages colors" in the print settings, manage colors dialog. The options are grayed out and the default is "color sync". This started yesterday with LR4 so I upgraded to LR5 and it is the same.

How can I load these in the updated version?
