View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated CS4 (student version) to CS5.5 commercial version. The brushes, patterns, shapes and styles I had installed in the CS4 Photoshop version were not loaded into the new version. I no longer have the original files of these assets (or customizations).
How can I load these in the updated version?
can't use express tools commands because they forgot to click on install express tool, what is the reason that you have to click on it and Fusion is a part of autocad?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI instal form SDK User Tools because I need in Inventor Drawing Tools (Revision cloud). I do this install like on website Autodesk show and I didn't get it on ribbon. I do also registry of this plugin but I also didn't get it.
I used Invenbtor 2013 with servce pack.
I have been a VS user for a long time now. I am currently using VSPro X5. I have an Intel Core i7-3770K overclocked to about 4.3GHz. I am running a little tuning utility program by intel to validate that when using VSPro X5 it is indeed utilizing only 1 core and about 19% of the CPU. This is irregardless of whether or not I am editing or encoding video. I have selected all of the hardware acceleration options and optimizations to no effect.
I also use MainConcept's encoder to render certain video and have validated that all 4 cores are engaged during the process and about 65% of the CPU is utilized.
I downloaded and installed the trial version of X6 and ran it and used it to process video with the same results as X5.
I am running 64 Bit Win7 Ult.
For the sake of comparisons, an AVI file converted to MPG (720x480, 1500kbps) is converted by: MainConcept at about 200fps VSPro X5 at about 30fps
I am thinking of upgrading my PC, but only if the dual-core and quad-core machines will run Photoshop and Lightroom faster than a single core machine (which I have now). Does anyone know if Adobe has upgraded their software (CS3 and Lightroom) to take advantage of the multi-threading that's possible with multi-core PCs?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to use the eyedropper or targeted adjustment tools (in the HSL menu), I will grab the tool and hover over my photo and my cursor changes to the magnifying glass. When using the eyedropper the preview will reflect the white balance but when I click my photo is enlarged instead of using the tool. I know there must be a simple answer, I am just a first time user of Lightroom (previously used Bridge/Camera RAW) and am getting very frustrated.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just installed Lr4 with update 4.3. . First when i click a photo in develop mode it shows up very small. If I adjust the zoom the photo does erratic things. It gets big but with massive distortion then it will clear up but will have an effect like looking into a bunch of mirrers. Also i can not get the adjustment tools to work at all.

I tried to update the catalog.I received the message that LR encountered problems when trying to update the format of the catalog file and cannot use this catalog in this version of Lightroom. When I click on the See Adobe Technote button, I received the message that that file is unavailable from the Adobe Website. View 15 Replies View RelatedI just created a smart collection to take images from a shoot, all of which have a keyword something like
20120403 Sample shoot name
and give me all images from this shoot with 4 or 5 stars. I defined the smart collection with keyword-starting-with that string and rating at least 4. I got all but two of the images. I looked and there was no bug - two images were missing the keyword. When I corrected this, in LR 3 I was accustomed to the dynamic collection's immediate update. However, now in LR 4 (Win 7), the collection didn't update. I tried switching views in Library, such as to the shoot itself, but the collection didn't update. I closed LR and reopened it, and the collection was now updated with all images that should be in it. This appears to be a bug to me.
I updated to 4.3 today and I was still unable to import my D600 NEF/RAW files. After I updated, I rebooted and it seemed like I could actually import the D600 NEF files. However a few moments later, somehow those images were no longer in my catalog/library and when I try to reimport them again it says the files are not compatible and no preview was available during the import screen.

LR 4.1 latest ver.I post process a CR2 file in Lightroom. I then add text to the Title field.Export as jpg using a pre-defined export preset.
I then notice that I have a typo in the Title field.
Correct the typo / text in the CR2 parent file using Lightroom.
Re-export again (same export preset)... answering yes to overwrite file (and Yes to all metadata).
Surprise ...surprise... the Title data is not updated in the exported file (ie by viewing the metadata in the g or e view.
I delete the jpg
Export again ...yes... same preset export settings.
Metadata on jpg is correct.
So, it looks to me that Lightroom is not updating the metadata when exporting and overwriting an existing image.
Is this normal or a bug.
LR 5.3 has been running fine since I updated several weeks ago--Mac Mavericks

Yesterday, I mistakenly opened up the version 3 icon and put in several hours worth of image work, metadata changes, and created a couple of collections.
1. What will be the easiest way for me to update the changes to my version 4 catalog without undoing work that I have done in that from the last couple of weeks?
I'm always getting "metadata file needs to be updated" notification for two TIFF files, not for others. I'm saving them to the disk, after two seconds they are giving the same notification ... I'm not touching my hands even to the keyboard ...
View 2 Replies View RelatedFour days ago I updated to LR 3.6. Two days ago I got malware and part of the solution was to System Restore my computer to before the LR 3.6 update. Then I used MalwareBytes to remove the malware. My computer seems to be working fine but now I can't open LR.
On my C: drive I still have LR 3.6 Files but my shortcut to open LR says it is 3.5. I found a LR 3.5.exe file but clicking on it does nothing.
With the release of 4.2 now supporting Fuji X-E1, does this update fixes Fuji X-Pro 1 raw files?

Everything appeared to be normal until I tried to open an image in the develop module and nothing happens and the program freezes with the lovely spinning rainbow wheel and the program must be forced to quit.
View 21 Replies View RelatedMy cameras have, over the years, misidentified a few lenses in EXIF. Most notably Sigma lenses, but naturally also older optics without built-in electronics.
I use Exiftool to rectify this, and then re-import metadata from file within LR. It works like a breeze both DNG, TIFF and JPG, but for the life of me I can't get those changes effected in existing Virtual Copies.

This plug-in’s post-processing task did not finish successfully.Photo upload failed, but no error string was returned from Facebook.I am trying to publish photos to an album that has previously been updated, and has not yet went past the 200 photo limit.
I have ensured that permissions on facebook have been set to public, deleted lightroom uploader on facebook, reauthenticated numerous times, and created a new album. Every time I recieve that error. Most times one or two photos are uploaded, all duplicates of ones that have been previously published.
I am using lightroom 4.1 with OSX 10.6.8

It relates to machines which often have different users. I can get ACADM2011 to run for that user by editing the registry and importing keys from a good profile then modifying to user the new users credentials. This is Ok for a fudge fix but not suitable as a final solutions as I have to roll out 2011 to another 90 machines.
All users have full admin rights through a group policy so that is not part of the issue.
What I have noticed is that on machine which will work as expected the secondary installer runs in two steps. The first being the AutoCAD Mechanical 2011 install and then the language pack install. On machines which will fail and have the Profile issue only the language pack install runs. Where does ACAD look to check which causes this first install part to be skipped?

In Photoshop CS6, when I open the program, I am unable to access the tools. I will not allow me to change from the hand tool. Cannot zoom, cannot move with the hand icon that pops up. I have restarted the program many times. Using a Mac book Pro, 10.7.5.
