i started using autocad 2010 in my newly joined office. on using the di command from the inquiry, toolbar a drop down menu appears. after i have selected two points between whom the distance has to be mesured , i have to select an option [as seen in the screenshot]. is there any way to expand the inquiry toolbar just like it used to be in the extended form in version 2009 and older??
View 3 RepliesI installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?

Except when I close and restart ACAD the menu bar express menu disappears. I can bring it back by using cuiload but this is not ideal. Any way to get it to stick?

View 608 Replies View RelatedI recently graduated from ps3 extended to ps5 extended ( was very use to the ps3 version) . Now am having problems when working with multiple pics in the ps5 extended version. I am unable to float mult, pics and or be able to minimize them to pull up another.
I also need the screen mode with the menu bar at the top to be able to minimize etc and select different pic. This seem to be the Workspace default in ps3 extended and I was very use to that....with the ps5 it is def not the default and is set to standard screen mode ( from the top selections) and I keep having to go the the top and select full screen mode with menu bar to even have my tools....then select float multiple pics to have the options of minimizing or max?....
A .psd file with layers created in a full version of Photoshop CS6 does not show the layers in my CS6 Extended version. I am still using the trial version of Extended pending registration.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI just recently (yesterday) became a member of the creative cloud. Now I am aware that my subscription (full individual subscription) allows me to use Photoshop CS6 Extended.
I previously had Photoshop CS6 Standard installed (my suspicion why it's not working properly) removed it and downloaded Photoshop via Application Manager, but it's still not the Extended version.
Also is there a way to keep the downloads because I'm constantly using photoshop at work (one of my main tools) and having to uninstalling and re downloading (which seems to take forever) is not the best solution.

View 5 Replies View RelatedCouple days ago I got a problem. When I try to open extended menu, like Open ->, or Save ->, or Import/Export, 3ds max crashes with "application closed" error. Problem on 3ds MAX 2010 and 2011 in x64 versions. x86 work fine. Service Packs installed. OS Windows 7 x64. Drivers updated, and workis fine.
This solutions did not resolve a problem:
- reinstall 3ds MAX
- reset user and max settings / deleting enu folder
- there is no backup for windows recovery
Can it be, than some windows libraries damaged, or some dll missed? Do not know what to do else, except full windows reinstall.
I'm still bouncing back and forth from 2008 LDD and 2010 3D.
I can't seem to find inquiry station offset objects or something like inverse to line.
Do have to create alignments for these simple calculations.
How do I get back to Photoshop CS6 Standard edition after Camera Raw 7.3 update? After installing the Camera Raw update photoshop now runs as the Trial version of Photoshop Extended.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a weird problem with Photoshop cs6 extended. I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance ).
my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

View 9 Replies View RelatedIn Photoshop CS6 under the view menu "print size" has been removed in version 13.0.4. Until 13.0.3 it was still there. Is there a good reason for it? Any known alternative? Workaround? I did use it a lot and miss it. On my main workstation I even went back to 13.0.3.
My guess is, that for "print size" showing the correct size on a given screen, the relevant screen resolution had to be set in preferences, and one had to know it, otherwise "print size" showed inproper size on screen. That might have led to remove it to not confuse retina screen users?
Within Photoshop(CS5extended) there's an option to view Styles I have some original Shapes I have created and also downloaded not too many but I would like to have them added to the window drop-down menu at top similar to styles. Is this even possible, for the life of me I can't find a way to do it

View 9 Replies View Relateda client (web design / dev) is adamant that i use a particular "logo" for her organization's web site. the logo, as it turns out, is an animated gif. i've been granted license to modify the logo as needed in order to get it to look better on the web site, so i want to trim away some fat.
i wish to avoid trimming the same piece from every frame. i'd like one modification to propagate across all of the frames (as there is no motion there). my approach so far has been these unsuccessful steps:open the original gif
from animation window's
from layer's window, ensure that "propagate frame 1 changes" is checked
choose select all from menu in main canvas areac]
finally, use the eraser tool to eliminate some extra bits of speckle which detract from my ability to cast a nice drop-shadow
it's at this point that i realize that only that frame which was originally selected has been modified
I recently downloaded and installed the latest version update. Everything seems to be working fine. However, one thing is not. The Set line width box in the flyout menu does not allow typing in a custom number. I thought it might have been a problem with my Cintiq but it is the same on my main monitor.
The Set line width box in the main toolbar works fine. But the one in the flyout doesn't work. I can select a setting from the dropdown list but just can't type in something like 1.5. It doesn't matter if I use my number pad--with the numlock on--or the keyboard numbers. Another strange thing I just noticed, when trying to type in a number in the flyout box, I cannot type 1 or 2 or a period but I can type in 0,3-9 although none of these changes the width of the line.
This worked okay in the previous version so perhaps it is a bug in the new release? (7.1.2.18680)
I have 106 files that I have to save as version 2004 for a contractor. They have been able to open all of the converted files except one. I have run an audit and found nothing. I have purged everything and still no luck.

I've recently switched from 2008 to 2010 and am wondering if that has anything to do with it as I had no problems in the past? While the tif file is large, it always plotted in 2008.

The obvious and calculated rotation angle would be 23d27'34" but when I rotate the line by the calculated angle it doesn't rotate to the right angle. It's off by 0d11'10"!? When I draw a line by bearing at N12d52'18" E and inquiry the angle between the property line and the drawn line the angle difference is in fact 23d27'34".
