May 14, 2012I installed PS CS6 Extended today, but there is no 3D menu available anymore? Also, it doesn't support .obj files anymore.I'm also having issues, opening .psb files.

Sep 3, 2012I have just installed Photoshop CS6 Extended from adobe.com as the trial, but after installing it I don't see the 3D menu at the top. I have tried reinstalling several times but still no 3D menu. I have a ASUS GTX550Ti graphics card with 1gb of ram so I thought this would be sufficient. Also running windows 7 64bit.

Apr 22, 2013I have a weird problem with Photoshop cs6 extended. I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance ).
my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .

Photoshop :: Updated OS X And Now CS5 Extended Doesn't Work
May 10, 2012Have the latest Macbook Pro 17" with i7 processor, 8gm memory, all that stuff, running all updates on everything. I've run into a first for me. I updated the OS this evening to the newest update from 10.7.3 to 10.7.4.
Now Photoshop won't work. Gives the following on start up: "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop."
Used the whatever it is called downloader. After several hours and several attempts, it never finished and seemed to hang what I thought was near the end.So I chose to just do a straight download. After a couple of minutes, I have the Photoshop_12_1_LS1.dmg in my download folder. Moved it to the desktop. Tried to open. Gives me the following error: The following disk images couldn't be opened: Photoshop_12-1-LS1.dmg (reason) invalid checksum.
Photoshop :: Why Doesn't CS6 Boot Into Extended Mode
Aug 14, 2012Ok got a new laptop, quad core and went to install the trial of Photoshop CS6 Extended and it will not boot into extended mode but rather the original Photoshop mode, and I know this by the splash screen with the circles and the fact there is no 3D menu. A friend did the same on his laptop (different hardware) and his booted into Photoshop CS6 Extended. We used the same Adobe Download Assistant to do our installs. My GPU is the ATI Radeon 6520G and it has support for both Open GL & Open CL. It appears in the Performance preferences with GPU checked and Open CL is selectable in advanced. Now my question is why can't I get into Extended Mode? Why can't we just force it to do so? I have seen this issue all over the place and it seems to be related mostly to ATI/AMD chipsets. I would like to try out the 3D options.
I even tried installing the latest ATI Radeon drivers which are beta 2.7, same issue.

Mar 27, 2011Couple days ago I got a problem. When I try to open extended menu, like Open ->, or Save ->, or Import/Export, 3ds max crashes with "application closed" error. Problem on 3ds MAX 2010 and 2011 in x64 versions. x86 work fine. Service Packs installed. OS Windows 7 x64. Drivers updated, and workis fine.
This solutions did not resolve a problem:
- reinstall 3ds MAX
- reset user and max settings / deleting enu folder
- there is no backup for windows recovery
Can it be, than some windows libraries damaged, or some dll missed? Do not know what to do else, except full windows reinstall.

All I am trying to figure out is where in the heck "Text Wrap" moved to since I cannot find it under "Window" or "Text," but realizing I have NO access to help in the program suddenly made THAT the bigger issue here. My blur tool does not work and my "guided" options are not there. What is the easiest fix- uninstall and remove the serial number then reinstall using same serial number? My question with this is- how many times can I do this, and or is there an easier fix? I have PSE11 and LR4 and I am going back and forth between which one to use. I really need all the options to work from PSE11.

Feb 4, 2014I have a new computer that has Windows 8. I have attempted this with BOTH Gimp 2.8 AND 2.6. I have a regular Wacom Bamboo Tablet.
I've been hunting online for HOURS, and all I find are the same answers that don't work for me. What I find are answers like "Enable the pen and eraser in the Devices menu" and such and such. No, that does not work. Only the core pointer shows up in the devices menu, and there is NO WAY to change that. In the Input Controllers menu, what show up are DirectX DirectInput, Mouse Buttons, Keyboard, and Main Mouse Wheel. All of these are activated. Despite every attempt I've made, nothing changes. The tablet pen and eraser DOES NOT SHOW UP AT ALL.
Again, Core Pointer is the ONLY device that appears in the Input Devices. All available controllers are active. The tablet is plugged in, and YES, I opened Gimp WITH the tablet. I'm an artist who uses Gimp, so not having the ability to draw is like not having my lifeblood.

AutoCAD 2013 :: Doesn't Show Snowflake In Menu
May 17, 2012Acad 2013 recent install. When using the layer menu, sometimes it will update to show item frozen, but doesn't show the snowflake in the menu. Then you can't thaw it as it thinks it is already sunny. Also intermitent problems moving items from layer to layer. Says it changed them, but when listed are still in the original layer. Just this afternoon it deleted the layer, kept the item being changed with no layer association, then gave me an error message. Luckily I had saved recently. The menu has also relocated itself to covering up the menus at the top of the screen and has lost the pictures of new layer, set to current layer etc. I will probably end up reloading software. I am also having problems with dimensions not using the settings color, size etc that are set, but rather defaulting to the autocad default (yellow) etc, which don't print well for us.

Aug 22, 2011I've had this problem in 2011 and 2012 on 2 different machines, but haven't seen it on the bug list, and have seen a post saying the hotkey combo for 'add menu item to shelf' is the same it's always been - Ctrl-Shift-Alt, then selecting menu item.
But when I press that, the menu item executes, but no shelf button appears.
I use this combo - a lot- to make custom shelves per project or need. Frustrated it no longer seems to work.

Nov 6, 2013I used Inventor 2010, but after a change of our Domain, I had some issues with export and mouse customization (one worked with IV running privileged, but the other didn't and vice versa). Reinstalation didnt solve the problem, so I hoped, that a newer version would solve it. Unfortunately the problems remained the same, but I could get it to work (running mouse software also privileged).
Now I noticed, that the 'select other' menu doesn't pop up, regardless of the delay choosen in the settings. Also some function keys don't work: F7, F8, and F9 don't show any reaction, while all other F-keys work.I'm using Inventor Professional 2013, 64 Bit (Build : 200, Release 2013 SP2 Update 2) from our Education Master Suite.

On this Palette Set I have a palette withe a tree.
On the right click of the node, I call a command (it's one of our own ObjectARX commands, but the problem is the same with a build in command).
The command wants the user to select a point, with a few options. If I first select a point (left click) and then click right, everything works fine.
But If I click with the right button, before I select anything, the menu is not shown.
The code for calling the command is really easy:

As said before... I don't call the _ARC command... but for the arc Command the right click menu is not shown also...What can I do, to get the normal behavior of the right click?
Photoshop :: Extended CS5 To Extended CS6 Cloud Install - How To Migrate Plugins
Aug 30, 2012Currently I am running PhotoShop extended CS5, 64bit. in which i have my fovorite plugins (Topaz, Nik and OneOne) running perfectly.
I have upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud and installed PhotoShop extended CS6 using Adobe Application Manager as recommended. It didn't ask me if I wanted to upgrade or do a new install for PhotoShop. So now I CS6 running with no Plug-ins. I need my plugins! LOL.
I tried pointing to additional plugins in the CS6 preference to the CS5 plugin folder. Upon Launch it gave me a whole slew of error messages saying something cant load or launch C+ runtime error or what not. It does open up, but it only gives access to Nik and Topaz. OnOne doesn't show up under filters or extensions.
So, what are my options?
Just copy the plugins from CS5 to CS6?
I dont't want to reinstall all the plugins to CS6 if I don't have to as I've auto updated them over time to current versions online, so only have installation files for my original purchases.
