Why on earth would Adobe remove the ability to point to a folder for additional plug-ins? I'm sure they will have lots of good reasons. However, the standard folder is embedded in the AppData folder in Windows. That folder resides on the system (C:) drive. I always install Plugs in a folder on a separate drive on my system (D:) so as to make it easy to manage and navigate.
View 2 RepliesWhen I add an addtional plugin using preferences-plugins in CS6 the plugin shows up in cs6 but my active tools will pulsate or vibrate around when I try to use them. If I uncheck the preferences-plugins- additoonal plugins and reboot the pulsating of the tools ceases. Any way to stop the pulsating tools?

View 1 Replies View Relatedmakes upgrades/re-installations smoother and it is very simple to disable them for troubleshooting. If you disable the selection of the dedicated folder, you can compare performance. IF that solves your problem you can tilde them all out and re-enable them one by one to find the specific conflict.

Since Revel appears to be for user content I can't see why the 3D materials would be there.Where are the additional 3D textures for Photoshop ? The Watch Folder service returned an error: Access is denied.
I looked around the site using search and Google, and found a few other occurences of this error, but they all only show answers that apply to network shares. Installed Elements 12, converted catalog but now my sub folders are shown as main folders in Organizer folder view. How can I get back my original folder/sub folder system? When I look at Windows folders my system is as it was so the two don't match any more. I had it set up that way on my old computer and laptop, so that whenever I would "save as" it would add the new edit to my LR catalog. But I am just setting up a new computer I got and it will save the first edit for me in LR but any additional edits don't show up.

I would like to install the primary on the Windows desktop and the additional on MacBook. Am I allowed to install primary on Windows machine and secondary on Mac machine as per EULA? I am the only user.

I am still only using Elements 9 from my PC, I do not have a smart phone and I could not find and app for Adobe Revel for my Kindle Fire HD. Will I have to do my only uploading to Revel each time?
I was able to successfully log into Revel to see my photos and albums after much searching through the discussion forums but I think there could have been better information or tutorials for those of us who are novices in the use of todays technologies.
I have elements 10 and am interested in other product additional filters that can remove grain/texture from old photo. I have used noise reduction, dust and despeckle as well as gaussimer blur as it is a portrait. Still not happy with results.I have heard that there are filters specifically designed to remove grain/texture.
