I have been trying all night to do this Photoshop piece and have failed. My vision is to take a Linkin Park band picture and add 2 additional people into them. These people have a stance that could blend in with the band for funsies. I was thinking the male stand at the front because his feet are partially cut off and the females stand in the back.
View 9 RepliesI have photoshop elements 11. People analyzer will not recognize people or allow me to tag people in my photos. It works with my older camera photos such as from my Nikon D300 but will not work with photos from my D800 (RAW).

Still not happy with results.I have heard that there are filters specifically designed to remove grain/texture.Â

it is possible to create the effect of people talking in a static picture.
In Adobe after effects I believe this is done by masking off the mouth, adding a second layer in that contains a video of someone's lips moving, and then blending the join between the two layer ... it is possible to create the same sort of effect in VS Pro X4.
I recently upgraded from PSE 10 to PSE 11. I already used tags to identify People by name. However, in the new People View not all of my people tags are present as People Stacks despite running the face recognition function. If I use the Add People function it just runs the face recognition feature that I have already run and named the specific person I want to see in the stacks.Strange thing is when I click the Add Group button I can see the missing people but do not know how to get them shown in the People Stacks?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have about 11,000 pix in PSE 11 and growing, all of a large family. Using 'Add People" in organizer worked well up till I reached 9,000 pix. I get the msg that all faces have been tagged. I've been scanning about 300 pix from our old albums and always try to add people after each group. I am not even getting the "Is this a person" message. I can go to each batch and manually answer "Who is this? Database size problem??

main picture - group of people (no room at either end to insert anyone)
2nd picture - 2 people standing together
Best place is to put them at the back of the group. But how do I do this? I am new to gimp and think I have to play with layers, but don't know how to.
I need to populate a park/sports complex. I need a few people walking and a few people running. I don't have any experience with animating people. What is the best way to do this? I have used 3ds Max for years but never animated people. I found some models on turbo-squid. Should I purchase rigged models? Do I need to purchase mo-cap or is walking/ running easy to do in Max?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from PSE 9 to PSE 11 and have imported some pictures that I have tagged in another program. Importing tags for everything other than people works fine (already used tags are recognized and reused). But importing tags for people proved to be a problem. They did not merge automatically with my previous people tags in PSE. My imported people tags ar now placed under "Imported Keyword Tags" in the "Media" workspace. How do I merge or move them to the "People" work space where the people tags for PSE 11 is placed?

I work for an aerial photography/photogrammetry firm and we are looking for some solutions to working with four band images. Our plane-mounted digital mapping camera has 8 different cameras in it which fire simultaneously. Four cameras are panchromatic and are eliminated from our final image leaving us with a red, green, blue and near infrared camera. We run post processing to combine the RAW data into a 16 bit, four band tiff image.
The issue that we're facing is editing these four band images in photoshop. We use Photoshop CS, CS2 and CS3. The restrictions that were finding in editing four-band imagery are:
(a) Cannot change color, can change brightness/contrast, but not in the fourth band (alpha 1)
(b) Cannot expand the canvas to combine two adjacent images and edit without losing the alpha-1 channel (near-infrared)
(c) Cannot create layers (cannot copy/paste). This is a major problem as we often need to place a different image over a warped area of the photo and properly align it.
suggest a good workflow or available plug-ins that will enable to edit all four bands at one time?
Are there any additional filters I can add-on to photoshop CS?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhy on earth would Adobe remove the ability to point to a folder for additional plug-ins? I'm sure they will have lots of good reasons. However, the standard folder is embedded in the AppData folder in Windows. That folder resides on the system (C:) drive. I always install Plugs in a folder on a separate drive on my system (D:) so as to make it easy to manage and navigate.

Since Revel appears to be for user content I can't see why the 3D materials would be there.Where are the additional 3D textures for Photoshop ? I have searched Adobe.com but cant find a mention of them directly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have another paint app where it will do a brush mode that is a rubber-band mode. So if there is a brush that's 25 pixels wide and you go and click once somewhere and then move the cursor... a straight line rubberband appears connected to your cursor. When you click again, the brush is painted in a straight line to where you clicked. It's great when you are trying to quickly paint a straight line to match something in the image. Does PS have a brush mode like this? (I know that drawing paths can be stroked in straight lines, etc. but I need a brush mode that is quickly switchable to as I am speed painting thousands of images and brushing is fastest for this work).

If I uncheck the preferences-plugins- additoonal plugins and reboot the pulsating of the tools ceases. Any way to stop the pulsating tools?

I had it set up that way on my old computer and laptop, so that whenever I would "save as" it would add the new edit to my LR catalog. But I am just setting up a new computer I got and it will save the first edit for me in LR but any additional edits don't show up.

I have just purchased CS6 upgrade single user (volume licensing). Currently I have a Windows desktop and a MacBook Pro. I would like to install the primary on the Windows desktop and the additional on MacBook. Am I allowed to install primary on Windows machine and secondary on Mac machine as per EULA? I am the only user.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNow that the transfer is complete and you cannot log into Photoshop.com will any new photos be backed up to Revel automatically? I am still only using Elements 9 from my PC, I do not have a smart phone and I could not find and app for Adobe Revel for my Kindle Fire HD. Will I have to do my only uploading to Revel each time?
I was able to successfully log into Revel to see my photos and albums after much searching through the discussion forums but I think there could have been better information or tutorials for those of us who are novices in the use of todays technologies.
Few days ago when I installed PS CC and worked with it that error did not appear. Why now? What does it means? The only updates installed on my computer since installing PS were those related to Adobe applications: PS, Illustrator, InDesign.I am on MAC with OS X 10.8.4. The same license and installation is on my second computer. That error do not appear.
