When I add an addtional plugin using preferences-plugins in CS6 the plugin shows up in cs6 but my active tools will pulsate or vibrate around when I try to use them. If I uncheck the preferences-plugins- additoonal plugins and reboot the pulsating of the tools ceases. Any way to stop the pulsating tools?
View 1 RepliesWhy on earth would Adobe remove the ability to point to a folder for additional plug-ins? I'm sure they will have lots of good reasons. However, the standard folder is embedded in the AppData folder in Windows. That folder resides on the system (C:) drive. I always install Plugs in a folder on a separate drive on my system (D:) so as to make it easy to manage and navigate.

makes upgrades/re-installations smoother and it is very simple to disable them for troubleshooting. If you disable the selection of the dedicated folder, you can compare performance. IF that solves your problem you can tilde them all out and re-enable them one by one to find the specific conflict.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am working with CS6 windows. I am having a problem when I made a brush, and add additional strokes to the same line.
Here is a pic of what is happening. You can see at the beginning of the arrow, there is a blue and pink link showing around the beginning of the arrow head. I added the pink and blue lines to the same line as the brush using the appearance tab.
Now if I add a dash to the the pink and blue lines, this is what happens... There is a little pink and blue line at the very tip of the arrow head. My dash options use for both the pink and blue lines.
My question is how to I get rid of this little line? What I am trying to do is.. use the black arrowhead on line with a stoke of 1 point black, and then under that have a 3 point stroke of white. In the image what is blue would be white, and what is pink would be black, and the arrowhead is correct as it is now. I had this same setup in CS4, and did not have that little line at the beginning.

How do I get the files added to an existing " My Occurrence Folder" rather than creating a new one. Every time I run the code a new folder is created, it does not use the exisitng one
I often save drawings in DXF format elsewhere on another server for the sheet metal guys to be able to open them and work with them. It is a completely different folder and server than where my working folder is (and Vault as well). Is there a way to get that folder as a shortcut on the left where it shows my working folder? Difficult to drill down through all the necessary folders every time I save a DXF 100 times a day.
