Dec 8, 2005I'm doing a project where i am trying to make a house (like a simple one you would see in a real estate ad), but with the lines being squiggly. I applied the zigzag filter to the entire thing, and it looks alright, but the whole house is distorted, not the individual lines. I want to know if I can just make the individual lines have that zigzag look, like some one scribbled it lightly. Is there a way to do that, and if so, how?

Feb 20, 2012How do you make a Chevron or ZigZag pattern in Paint.net? I was able to make one, but it was pretty difficult.
I used the Diagonal Lines plugin to draw the lines and then used the Mirror plugin to make the actual chevron.

Oct 9, 2012Whilst editing images in photoshop cs3 (using power mac), random horizontal lines are appearing on images. Usuall just one or two and the only way to get rid of them is to edited/erase them out....
I have tried saving and opening image on another mac and it still shows up...

Mar 10, 2009My students draw all of the individual parts of a product as ipt files. Next they create an assembly using those ipt files on a iam template. Next they generate a multiview assembly drawing on a idw template from the iam file. On the idw multiview assembly random visible lines disappear and we are not able to get them back. Students are turning of the visiblity of some of the hidden lines on the idw assembly but not all hidden lines.

Jun 7, 2012I'm working on a program that requires me to analyze a series of 3D coordinates (which describe the start and end points of individual lines) and combine those points that are collinear (there are lots of smaller line segments, some of which are co-linear and overlapping in space) into one single line.
how to analyze these points to find out which ones can be combined. For example, I might have 6 lines, 3 are separate and have their own specific orientation, but 3 are overlapping and in the same direction (look as a single line on the screen). I'd like to modify my point list so that it describes 4 lines... (the 3 individual ones and one which combines the 3 overlapping lines).

Jun 15, 2012I'm uploading the .dwg and .txt files. I'm trying to get volume calcs cut and fill between two surfaces and when I compare the data between AGTEK's Highway 3D there is different results. I looked into it to find these random line appearing in Autocad making what seems to be the problem. Where are these coming from and how do I fix? Also, if you could anwser how can I insert a sectional following the 12'-23' offsets and dropping 1.16' down and adding it to my design surface. Dec 13, 2013Using Autocad 2014. I recently changed our dimension style fill color to background. Now when we create pdf files, there are random lines either to left of the text or left and top of text. It is not every dimension. We had it set to none before and would trim lines around dimension text. We did not have problems with pdf until changing the fill color. It plots from autocad to plotter without a problem.

Sep 26, 2012I have pictures that have different objects over a canvas like/un uniform back ground.
I need to remove that background without any part of the objects them self.
I mange to get most of the background out using the magic wand , but i'm left with many random single/groups of noise pixels left in the picture since they were not captured with the magic wand.
most of the time i can remove those using the eraser or use the selection tools with different shapes around the pixels and press delete.
but those methods take lots of time, specially around a complex objects and as i'm getting near to them, i need to make my selections/eraser radius smaller and smaller.
I have tried to use a plugin called "Reduce Noise" that i found , but it does not work.
faster way how to remove this noise pixels without any part of the objects?
a plugin that "scans" the image/selected area and remove all pixels that are surrounded by transparency in it?
p.s I can't always select only the object/s itself/them self and just move it/them to a new picture.
p.s.2 maybe a plugin that the user can choose up to what size, a group of pixels, should be removed ?

1. There is no chance to scale 1px line to be 2px
2. You cant make from 10px height object 1px line.
From 1px line always staying 1px.
From more than 1px you can make only 2px line not 1px.
Thing happening from X3 to newest X6.
Small things but making my work a bit longer.

Is there an easy way to convert a path to even zig zag segments... the purpose is to create an swen or stitched effect in screen printed designs. Jun 16, 2012I'm using CS4 on a mac.
Here's what I want: a filled rectangle in which the top and bottom line segments are straight, and the two side line segments are zigzag. I can't seem to find a good way to do that.
First thing I tried: Make a rectangle, then Effect > Distort & Transform > Zig Zag. That turns all segments of the rectangle zig zag, and I want the top and bottom to be straight.
Next: Draw four separate lines and join them to make a shape that I can fill. I can do that, right? Anyway, the problem: I draw a zigzag line, and a straight line and right angles. I select the endpoints with the pen tool (right?) to join them. When they join, either they both become straight or they both become zigzag. Which is not what I want either. Here's a picture of what I'm trying to do.
The other thing I noticed is that the Zig Zag effect doesn't give me additional anchor points (at least from what I can see), and doesn't give me anchor points where I want them. See in the above picture, where I have the left-hand line segment selected, the path is still straight so the anchor points don't line up with the zigzag line that is visible to me. Which means when I try to join the segments, they make funny shapes at the corner. Which is also annoying. This thread seemed to indicate that Zig Zag should give me additional anchor points at each corner: [URL]. Why don't I get that? Is it a CS4/CS5 issue?

Jun 3, 2011I frequently use the lines/curve tool for filling in large items on the documents (maps) which I update. In the past, I have had no trouble doing this, but I now find that the lines no longer merge into one another, but overlap. I get the same effect when using the paintbrush tool. It is probably something that I am doing incorrectly, but blowed if I know what.
