View 4 RepliesI have my own party decoration business. I had to stop my printing services because out of the blue one day, my printer just messed up everything. I no longer have it as it broke down, but now I have the same problem with no matter what printer I use to print the same file. It's suppose to print purple, and it prints the purple parts pink. It turns the aqua blue into more of a royal blue. I am using Photoshop 7.0. It also did the same thing to me in CS2.
I have tried 4 different computers, 3 different printers, and 3 different operating systems.
Jusy wanted to know how would I go about copying this image. I want everything the same besides the coloured shapes. I want to be able to edit the image. As when I try to trace over it with the pen tool I can never get it to look the same. What would be the easiest way? or would photoshop be better suited for copying the images without the blue and pink shapes?

After I have completed editing in LR I want to upload for printing but the colors have all changed to pinkish cast. Can the photo processor correct my colors? What if I submit to a microstock agency will my colors be correct according to my Lightroom image?

All links work fine, but each link is covered with a blue square (indicating where the links are, I assume). I chose "invisible rectangular" so I suspect it is added by Reader? Is there a way to get rid of those blue squares? I do not want them on my design. Would a (paid) PDF Reader
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently opened a project I worked on months ago and noticed certain materials in my rendered images had turned blue. I created a new rendering in which all materials came out great and I saved it. Minutes later I opened the new rendering and it too became blue. I worked on this project for months and have not made any changes to materials. All previously saved images in my file, the wall materials, stairs, and certain furniture have all turned blue.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHave great pic of Christ Of The Andes. Huge statue in foreground (gray color), and all white sky in background because of overcast day. I want to change the sky color from white to blue. Formerly, in Elements 4, I could do it easily with the Magic Wand tool. I recently upgraded to Elements 11 and, to my shock, find there is no Magic Wand tool. I am running Windows 7. I tried the Brush tool and, while it selects the correct area, I can't get it to insert the blue color. It is not a choice of color offered. Only gray. I also tried via a new layer, but could not get that to work either.

I used to work in Marketing and design and I learned to use Corel before anything and I just got Photoshop7 and I'm trying to change colors of just the letters on a small permit I have.
Dude, stop laughing I know Corel is the preschool of all of this, I got it. Even the dumbass in Best Buy couldn't stop giggling...
A little help though. Remember I don't know Photoshop from my left nut!
The background is white, the letters are blue. I want the letters to turn green. Upon scanning and zooming in (using Image Ready might I add) I realized not all the pixels are the same shade of blue, in fact some are a slight hue of pink, some a lighter brown and some a pastel blue, so on and so on. I spent about 2 hrs just "selecting" what I sisn't want to change and what I did. Now I'm running around trying to come up with a respectable color change for each pixel in a green shade. I have no idea if this is neccessary. If it is I'll find a different shade, if it's not what can I do?
Let's say it is necessary, can I make all of the light pinks a certain shade of green? and after that can I make all of the shades of brown a different shade of green and so on and so on?
Which ever one you guys advice me on, please don't forget to give me instructions as I have no F-n clue what I am doing.
I'm currently trying to do a repaint of an FSX aircraft which has a bare metal fuselage. I'm trying to get this to appear 'shiny' or reflective. These AC where of ten highly polished, particularly 'display' AC. I'm aware that this might involve 'alpha channels' but I'm not sure how. to apply them.
Everything else in GIMP, I'm enjoying using and achieving what I want to with trail and error. This would be the 'icing on the cake' if I can get it sorted.
trying to see what a front porch would like on the front of a house.
I wanted to be protected from the rain. Would like the porch to follow the triangle roof line over the door and come out about 3/4's of the way. Have the porch sit on two white posts.
Can paint.net be used to do something like this?

The character should be able to move as per the bike's movement, as would happen in real life. The character should react to the suspension of the bike.

Im going on a "lads holiday" in 2 weeks and i have been given the job to create tshirts for the group. I used a shield design base from a video game and i am now creating new silhouettes for the different sections of the shield to reflect the holiday. Ive been trying to make a quad bike silhouette but every time i do it it comes out so badly that you cannot tell what it is actually meant to be.

If I have an image that has plenty of a certain hex colour A in it, and I want to change all pixels of that colour to another hex colour B, how do I do that?
I want it to intelligently convert pixels of other colours, i.e. a colour that is half-grey half-A becomes half-grey half-B, a pixel that is transparentesque A becomes transparentesque B, and so on.
How do I do this on paint.net or possibly with any online tool available.
Can paint.net do this.. [URL] .........
If it can indeed do it. how?
I just received the disc with all my wedding photos and so many of them are ruined by either a rainbow glare or a blue glare. I am so disappointed in how the pictures came out and have spent the last half of today trying everything to fix them.
Is it possible to fix a rainbow or blue glare.
Here are a few (if html works) but I have about 15 like these.
I have a problem with the display of images that come out too blue. The thumbnail looks correct but the large preview image has too much blue. I have processed the same raw images in other software with no issues but this seems to be an issue with Paint Shop Pro. Is there a setting that needs to be changed?
Once I open the image the image in the raw converter it shows the color balance "As Shot" as a different value that what the Adobe software reads. Not sure why. You can try and adjust the blueness out of the image but why do I need to do this all the time when I don't have to in other programs.
If I open any image in the full editor the thumbnail takes on this too blue look as well, even if no color adjustments were made.
I have attached 2 screen shots that show the problem.
I've taken several shots of buildings with a Canon EOS (each photo 4mg / JPG) with very dark blue sky backgrounds. There are no clouds in the sky. I need to resize each photo down to approx 350kb for the Internet. I'm using Corel Paint Shop Pro X2. I've run various process's like smart photo fix, sharpen, then improved the saturation and then re sized at 75% "weighted average". When I view the photo on the Internet the blue sky seems to be in lines. How I can stop this and get an even blue colour.

HOWEVER, I need to make the signature darker blue. I've used clipping masks in the past, but cannot figure how to do this in Paint.net.
I made duplicate copy of the original .gif, then created a layer and filled it with a darker blue. What do I do from here so that when I put the layers together the signature is darker, but the background is still translucent?

Rather than just filling everything in and having it look choppy, I'm selecting each pixel with the global Magic Wand and matching the exact transparency. Is there a more efficient way to do this?
