View 1 RepliesI am running a PC with Win7 & PPro CS6
I have a bunch of clips that were copied over from iMovie imports (no original files exist anymore)
They are all a special form of .mov
I can play them in VLC Media Player (but not Quicktime, or WMP) so I know that a pc can handle them...
When I import into CS6 I get an errorsaying Codec missing or unavailable...
Whered can I get the proper Codec?
This is not a request for full support to open/edit/save SVG files.
It would be a useful feature if paint.net could import from SVG files. A window will come up so you can adjust the dimensions/size and then it can add the image as a new layer. (Currently, I would use GIMP to convert SVG to PNG then import that into paint.net).
Is there a plugin available to import Nikon NEF files from my D7000 DSLR?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have done several searches (using Google site search, "standard" Google search, and the search here) and haven't found the answer to this, but it seems I wouldn't be the first person to bring this up. Is there a plugin that allows you to convert ACO palettes for use in Paint.NET?
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor production artwork, I need to create a High-Res PDF file.
I know I could use a PDF printer to create the .pdf file. The problem I'm having, is that they provided me with a template, which also is a .PDF file.
I need to import this template into paint.net so I can paint over it. Is there a way to open .PDF files and maintain their dimensions (>300 DPI)
They mentioned: Certified High Resolution PDF files with norm PDF/x-1a:2001
in the gimp plug-in registry i downloaded 6 scm files... I hunted for folders in the gimp program folder to see if I can find any folders currently housing scm files but was unsuccessful at finding any... where am i supposed to put them?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem receiving or downloading png files. Once downloaded to my computer they always show a white background. Where I might look to see if I screwed up a setting somewhere? If i right click to copy and paste a png file into psp pro x4 itself it has a black background .. if i right click save as ... then save as the png file it has a white background. If a friend takes that same file and saves it as a psd file it opens perfectly with the transparent background.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI am using windows 8.1 and cs6 both recently installed. I have a problem with my PC in that downloaded RAW files are much too large at something like 45mb when they should be about 15mb.camera is a Nikon d700.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI head over to the icon in the top-right corner, "Corel guide". Then I go to the tab "Do more".From here I can download frames, patterns, preset shapes etc. However, I cannot find the downloaded content after installing. I have restarted PSP afterwards, but to no avail. I would try to uninstall and reinstall the packages, but I can't find a way how to do it.
I am using Windows 8 64bit, and the latest update for PSPx5.
I am having trouble getting my tubes to show up in the Tube tool drop down box. If they are downloaded with the .tub extension they show fine. But if the need to be converted they don't work. I've tried 2 different converter programs and couldn't get them to work.
I used PSP5 a long time ago and used a converter that worked great. Now can't seem to get anything to get my downloaded tubes to register in my Tube Tool .
Did the 9.95 deal this morning. Lightroom downloaded but CS6 won't. GIves me code... unable to extract the downloaded files.
View 1 Replies View RelatedProcedure to export photos (and video) to iMovie.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm having difficulty getting my videos exported from LR4.1 and imported into iMovie11 (or converted with QuickTimePro).
I'm exporting with H.264 to maintain edits I've made (mov is just a copy of original video but does allow import into QuickTime).
When I import into iMovie11, the only visual is a still frame of the video. The audio works just fine, but there no video. I've optimized the video for full size to ensure its not a performance issue (also on a brand new iMac, so that shouldn't be the problem). From searching around it appears to be a codec issue, so I figured I'd convert it to a different format with QuickTime Pro. When I try and save as a self contained movie (mov format) QTPro fails and says that the movie "contains an incorrect time value". I've had some success with trial versions of other software that converts to different formats, but I don't want to have to buy another piece of software, or do a whole other step!
Basically what I said in the title, and I can't change it to something that's easier to look at. I can change the color of individual faces if I use the "adjust" tool, beyond that the only way I can change it is if I go to the "Realistically Colored Model" and turn on "Ray Shading" which basically renders it. When I select the body and hover over the current color it says "As Application Surface Color". Thats what the first attached picture is. In the 2nd attached picture, it is clearly not light red. And its still transparent which is bugging me more. format of the attached pictures. Untitled.jpg

I am an archaeologist working with survey equipment and Map3D for a few years but now I have the following problem.
When I import the shapefiles created in my leica/topcon equipment into Map3D (mapimport) there is the possibility to select which attributes are going to be imported with an import profile file (.ipf).
How do I create the above and save it so that I do not have to go through the same process again?
I am currently using a Nikon D7100 and recording my photos in the Raw/NEF-RAW format. Recently, whenever I am uploading my photos to Lightroom 5, my photos are changing to .dng files rather than staying in the NEF file. When I go and look back at my previous imports from the past few times, they are in NEF and NOT in .dng. Why is this doing this and how do I turn this feature off so that my files remain the same going from my camera to my computer through importation.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to a 5D and LR4.. when I import the files load as CR2 files, not DNG files. When the files import it takes 4 files to find them. It also will not recognize the file names in the library. How do I fix this to import like it did in LR 3??

How do I import the clipboard in PSP Pro X5? It was one click in PSP 3.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt use to be that when I would import a picture that was larger than the current canvas size I was dealing with it, it would ask me if I wanted to enlarge the canvas size or not. Now it just automatically is changing the canvas size and it's driving me nuts because I don't want it to do that!

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just bought X4 and can't import High Def. MOV files. VS doesn't even see them! how do I import them?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI've searched these forums for any "how to's" and found some info, but either it was over my head as to the fix or it delt with different video file formats or error messages.
The short version:
I have a fresh install of X4 on a 64 bit Windows 7 (Pro) and I'm trying to import *.MTS video files into the timeline but keep getting "File format Mismatch 1081:1:3" errors. I've copied the files from the SD card to the harddrive. I've also tried renaming the file(s) extensions from MTS to M2TS, AVI, MPG, and still get the error.
The long winded version:
I had X4 on a 32 bit PC for a long time. Installed Panasonics AE reader software that came with the HDC-SDT750 camcorder. X4 could recognize the MTS files and import them into the timeline. The PC motherboard failed so I got new motherboard and decided to do a fresh install of the 64 bit version of Win 7 Pro on a clean harddrive. Did a fresh install of X4. Then installed all Windows and X4 updates and patches.
When I try to insert a MTS video clip (file) into the timeline from either the SD card or harddrive I get the error message "File format Mismatch 1081:1:3". I can play the video files through windows media player (No matter what I've changed the file extesion to) and the video and sound play fine. I can also insert any other video file into a timeline except MTS files (New or older ones). With X4 up and running and searching for which video file to insert I can see the MTS video preview thumbnail in the file explorer window.
The video clips are 1920X1080 at 29 fms and a bit rate of 16794kbps
I can't find the Panasonic software disk and the best that I can tell Panasonic does not have their software online for download.
I will need some hand holding here so I'll need more step by step instructions than "Get the latest codecs" (Whatever that means)
System info:

This is very troubling. I work with Autocad files, currently Acad 2010 is being used in the office.
I'm trying to import a siteplan for coloring, and I can't get the darn thing into X5. I import as a .pdf (created from Autocad) and I get a "file is corrupt" error. I'm used to that in X3, with Adobe upgrading the .pdf standard, but X5 should be able to read these files, right? This is the solution I'd prefer as it would be a one-step process, all lineweights and text spacing, etc. shouldn't change from the original file. At least one would think so.
If I import as a .dwg or .dxf, I get the expected dialogs, but after the font-matching dialog, CorelDraw shuts down with no explanation! Poof! I've gone back 15 years saved the .dxf as release 14 and still, poof!
I'm going to have to use X3 until this gets resolved...
Up until this morning I have been able to successfully import .eps files into Xara Pro Designer 6.
This morning, try as I might I am unable to open a new .eps file which has been sent to me.
All 'old' .eps files already on the system can be opened correctly. The artist sending me the files is not doing anything different at their end. I'm not doing anything different at my end.
To add to the confusion ... an .eps sent yesterday opened correctly. Today it does not and displays "Access violation exception at 0.09681E2C". I did 'tidy up' my folders so it's possible I may have messed up the directory for this one.
I am new to using Revit and I am just trying to figure out how it works to be honest. I have made a 2 floor building in ACAD ARCH 13 and when I import the DWG files into Revit, they just show the 2D line drawings even when I look in 3D mode. Do I have to re make all of the walls and such in Revit or am I missing a step to import all of the windows, doors, and wall heights?
