Jul 31, 2013I downloaded Creative Cloud, but when I click to download Photoshop trial under the Apps, I'm getting the message "Unable to extract files. Please Retry to download again or contact customer support (EX20)". Every time I click retry I just get the same failure message.

Oct 31, 2013At first, I wasn't able to open .nef files from my Nikon D800E. I then realized that I needed to update my camera raw installers. The available versions were 6.5, 6.6, and 6.7 from the adobe website. I also downloaded the Adobe App Manager as it was required to install the updates. The downloading process for all 3 versions worked fine. However, when I tried to install using the adobepatchinstaller, it didn't work. And I tried on all version individually. They all gave me the same message: not the right patch.

I can't seem to figure out why I cannot manipulate this file. All tool bars are blacked out like it has the "read only" property. Which was first thing I checked to try to diagnose this issue. I've also tried save copy as, checking in & out of the Vault. Deleting local copies and opening from Vault. Even re-downloading the same file. Nothing seems to work. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or did whoever create this remove the write capability from it somehow. All I am trying to do is go into document settings and change the units from metric to standard.

Mar 20, 2012I have a Mac with the OSLion and I am tryign to download the adobe. Once I get to the Adobe assistant its says:
The following disk images couldn't be opened:
Master Collection error 4960
Then it says forver extracting. This happened becuase the download got interruted, my computer shut down too early. I did what other poeple said to do in the forums:
erased cookies
uninstalled the adobe assistant
created a different account in adobe
tried to download it with Firefox and then Crome
Don't know what else to do.

Oct 23, 2013Basically what I said in the title, and I can't change it to something that's easier to look at. I can change the color of individual faces if I use the "adjust" tool, beyond that the only way I can change it is if I go to the "Realistically Colored Model" and turn on "Ray Shading" which basically renders it. When I select the body and hover over the current color it says "As Application Surface Color". Thats what the first attached picture is. In the 2nd attached picture, it is clearly not light red. Apr 17, 2013I have just recently installed AutoCAD LT 2014 on Windows 7 (Running on an intel iMac through Bootcamp). Ever since then i am receiving notifications when performing a save.
AutoCAD is telling me it cannot perform the save and is creating a .tmp file in the same location on the server as the file should be.
this is causing major performance issues and happens almost every second time I attempt to perform a save. The issue is that we are getting multiple versions of the same file duplicating on the file server which is very quickly going to cause capacity issues considering most files are 2-4mb in size.

Oct 18, 2012Unable to open AVI files in Photoshop CS6 I am running PS6 and want to open and edit AVI files. When I try to do that I get an error message saying "the video file cannot be opened" .
This seems to apply to ALL avis - yet I can open and edit MP4, MMV etc. I installed Gspot to track whether it was a codec issue and when I try to open ANY file I get this error message : "Warning: DirectShow crashed while GSpot was attempting to obtain information about a codec. This is usually due to damaged, misconfigured, conflicting, or poorly written codec drivers. It is possible, perhaps even likely, that other media players will crash when they attempt to play this file as well, as most of them will also use DirectShow.
GSpot was able to intercept the crash, and has attempted to identify the codec or filter involved; uninstalling or reinstalling this codec or filter may solve the problem. The codec was tentatively identified as: C:Windowssystem32imaadp32.acm Unknown video codec #11". I see a site to download the "imaadp32.acm" codec but what about the "Unknown video codec #11". What the heck is that and what do I do about it.
ps I should add that the avi files DO open and play in Bridge. I have the latest Quicktime. Everything is up to date and PS and the computer is otherwise working perfectly !

When I open Photoshop, it opens like it would normally, but when I go to file > open , file > new nothing happens. There is no pop up for a new file and if I click on existing the file doesn't come up.
