I downloaded Creative Cloud, but when I click to download Photoshop trial under the Apps, I'm getting the message "Unable to extract files. Please Retry to download again or contact customer support (EX20)". Every time I click retry I just get the same failure message.

Ive done it before and it worked but all of a sudden when i download the .zip file, the icon for it is now the photoshop icon and when i double click on the file it attempts to open in photoshop but fails saying that the type of file cant be opened there.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Mac with the OSLion and I am tryign to download the adobe. Once I get to the Adobe assistant its says:
The following disk images couldn't be opened:
Master Collection error 4960
Then it says forver extracting. This happened becuase the download got interruted, my computer shut down too early. I did what other poeple said to do in the forums:
erased cookies
uninstalled the adobe assistant
created a different account in adobe
tried to download it with Firefox and then Crome
Don't know what else to do.
I have a requirement to extract attributes from multiple AutoCAD files (500+) and export it to a text file or multiple text files. The purpose of the extraction is to find the total count for each of these attributes for BOQ and procurement purposes. The extracted data (in text or CSV format) will be loaded into another application. The tool to do the bulk extraction should be a command line tool to be called from the application that will load the data.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just recently installed AutoCAD LT 2014 on Windows 7 (Running on an intel iMac through Bootcamp). Ever since then i am receiving notifications when performing a save.
AutoCAD is telling me it cannot perform the save and is creating a .tmp file in the same location on the server as the file should be.
this is causing major performance issues and happens almost every second time I attempt to perform a save. The issue is that we are getting multiple versions of the same file duplicating on the file server which is very quickly going to cause capacity issues considering most files are 2-4mb in size.
I reinstalled Adobe Photoshop CS2 because I had problems with opening files with my previous Photoshop CS2.Now I have the same problem: I cannot open files or save them, neither when I try to open it with Photoshop, nor when I open the picture and choose "open with...". Photoshop starts, but nothing happens! What can I do?

View 2 Replies View RelatedUnable to open AVI files in Photoshop CS6 I am running PS6 and want to open and edit AVI files. When I try to do that I get an error message saying "the video file cannot be opened" .
This seems to apply to ALL avis - yet I can open and edit MP4, MMV etc. I installed Gspot to track whether it was a codec issue and when I try to open ANY file I get this error message : "Warning: DirectShow crashed while GSpot was attempting to obtain information about a codec. This is usually due to damaged, misconfigured, conflicting, or poorly written codec drivers. It is possible, perhaps even likely, that other media players will crash when they attempt to play this file as well, as most of them will also use DirectShow.
GSpot was able to intercept the crash, and has attempted to identify the codec or filter involved; uninstalling or reinstalling this codec or filter may solve the problem. The codec was tentatively identified as: C:Windowssystem32imaadp32.acm Unknown video codec #11". I see a site to download the "imaadp32.acm" codec but what about the "Unknown video codec #11". What the heck is that and what do I do about it.
ps I should add that the avi files DO open and play in Bridge. I have the latest Quicktime. Everything is up to date and PS and the computer is otherwise working perfectly !

When I open Photoshop, it opens like it would normally, but when I go to file > open , file > new nothing happens. There is no pop up for a new file and if I click on existing the file doesn't come up.
Can not open any RAW-files in PS CS6. Have tried "everything". Just formatted the hard disk, installed osx Lion again. Then installed CS6 and adobe RAW 7.1. Still can not open any kind of raw files.

If in Windows Explorer a .bmp file is selected then the right click option of open with PS7 is used PS7 gives an error message.

I've tried to save as in Acrobrat and then place, get the same message. I've opened the file in Photoshop to re save and get an error message. I can't change our workflow for just me because I'm the only one having this issue.

I have used the "open with..." dialog box (something I have done a million times, so I know what I'm doing), but after choosing Photoshop, it does not appear in the list of recommended or other programs and will not open the jpg or psd file in Photoshop.
FYI, I installed Photoshop CC while Photoshop CS6 was still on my computer. I then deinstalled Photoshop CS6 and that is when I noticed the problem.
I am unable to drag and drop the files (even .psd) into CS6 beta from my folder.. My OS is windows 7 U 64 bit.
View 20 Replies View RelatedI'm using Photoshop CS5 for Mac, and when I try to save files as TGA or GIF, the Layers option is not available and the result is a flattened, single layer.
• Files I am working with are 8bit RGB.
• Photoshop is set to 32bit, not 64bit.
• There are no extra channels other than RGB.
• Switching files to indexed color doesn't work because it asks to merge all layers.
• I can open Gif files containing layers, but I can't then Save or Save As with layers.
Below is the save dialog box as it appears when i try to save a Gif or TGA.
I cannot seem to open any picture files in Photoshop CC. It doesn't seem to matter what file type it is..jpg .gif .png no file will open. They open just fine in Illustrator but Photoshop can't seem to find them.
I've tried modifying what program "opens" the file but Photoshop isn't listed. Window Media Player is listed, as is Illustrator but I have to search for Photoshop and when I click on it, it doesn't do anything.
When I save my pics after I've adjusted them on Photoshop, I'm unable to get prints made from any photoshop. I've saved them as a jpeg, but that hasn't worked.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Photoshop suddenly is not responding to any actions, such as opening ,creating or saving documents. Program is not freezed or anything, it just doesn't respond to actions. I worked with Photoshop last night, everything worked fine, set'd PC to sleep mode instead of shut down. Now when I woke up the PC, and tried to continue working, Photoshop just doesn't respond at all.
I had very little hard drive space available, but I cleaned it up to like 20Gb (I have worked with Photoshop, when there's only like 2Gb free space on scratch disk tho), closed other programs but still the same.
Restarting computer doesn't work anything, program opens, but it won't open or create anything. This is frustrating,
I can not open CR2 file in CS4 or Bridge. The CR2 images show in the preview window when I click the "open" button under "file". When I select the image to open I get "Unable to complete your request because it is not the right kind of document." I have uninstalled and re-installed the software, installed all the updates and get the same results.

No error message, it just doesn't happen anything. I have 700 odd wedding images in 5 folders, went to rename them as usual - but for some reason didnt check the "extension" option so now all of my jpegs are renamed but without a file tag - which means photoshop browser doesn't see them and none of my programs will open them! They are of course still in the folder - but not visible.
