LR 3.3 with ACR 6.3
After selecting "Edit in CS5" I do not get the dialogue box asking if I would like to apply Lightroom adjustments.
Image opened in CS5 includes some adjustments from the Develop Module, but not the Transform Lens Corrections that I had applied.
I don´t know why, but suddenly there seems to be no way, I can get edit in PS with LR adjustments. There used to be an options box in LR when selecting "edit in Photoshop". Now I get no options, and my adjustments from LR does not show in PS. I have tried both the tiff and PSD setting in preferences/external editing, but no luck. I have also used the "Reset Warnings" in LR, hoping this would bring back the external edit dialog box, but no luck.
as I have a lot of urgent work to do, and I go back and forth between LR and PS a lot.

Why is it when I edit an image in lightroom 4 then go to retouch etc in photoshop cs5 those adjustements that I made on the image in lightroom ie contrast, saturation, exposure etc don't show up when I move the raw image into photoshop to do final retouching on the image but still have it in my lightroom catalog? It is the camera raw issue that comes up when you first try to edit an image and lightroom says it needs camera 7.0 which does't exist yet?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Lightroom 4.1 RC2 on a Windows 7 64 bit system with dual monitors. When I am in the develop mode and make edit adjustments on any setting the 2nd monitor does not update. If I move to another image then come back the image is updated but it does not work in real time. I have never had this problem before and it worked fine in Lightroom V4.0
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince i have updated to PS CC en Lr5.3 the edit in function in Lightroom doesn't function properly. Or sometimes not at all. I removed the adobe plist files. And then it will work. Accept when I restart the computer the next day. The problem keeps comming back! The operating system is Apple mavericks.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWe have a bunch of shots taken using natural light - the shots all have completely different exposure and white balance adjustments.
Now that the shots feel like they've been shot at the same time of day (and on the same day) we'd like to start adjusting the white balance accross multiple shots - but use the current white balance/exposure from each individual shot as the starting point - not reset the adjustments.
Kind of like baking the current settings or making adjustments on top of current adjustments - or make new adjustments relative to the current adjustments.
When I make changes to a raw file using the graduated filter and then edit the photo in photoshop the graduated filter changes do not carry over to photoshop but all the other changes do. Whats up?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy digital camera has a tendency to distort as the image nears the outside of the frame. Is there a photoshop function that can correct this? I have tried the Transform functions (skew, distort, etc), and correcting half of the image is easy by dragging the corner grips away from the center to stretch the image, but, when I go to the opposite end of each given side, the distortion returns. The problem is the grip at the midpoint on each side moves with the rest of the side when using this feature. Is there a transform feature or other command that does something similar, but the midpoint grips stay stationary, basically taking the rectangular shape of the image and making it into an hourglass or four pointed star?

But when I choose edit original it opens paint - how do I change this? And yes I have checked the link-box when selecting the image. I have windows 7 if it matters.
View 8 Replies View RelatedAfter Installing Corel X6 I found it's no longer possible to edit bitmaps directly from CorelDraw X5. I uninstalled Photopaint X5 but that didn't work. I checked the filetype and made sure that cpt files were opening with Photopaint X6 but Edit Bitmap remains greyed out in CorelDraw X5. Is this because X5 is 32 bit and X6 is 64 bit? I still need to use X5 because various macros don't work with X6. How can I get Edit Bitmap to work both in Draw X5 and Draw X6?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have used Tech Support twice in past 4 months trying to get the Edit function to work. Have reinstalled program twice from an On-line download license. When attempting to open EDIT, the system either cycle for 30 seconds and then simply disappears, or a pop-up appears "PSE 10 has stopped working" and cycles for 30 seconds and then closes the program.

View 4 Replies View RelatedURL.... "Failed to launch server application" when trying to edit a bitmap out of CorelDraw, only later saw that specific post was for X3. I have the same trouble, only with X4.
To recap my problem: When calling the "edit bitmap" function in X4 - I receive this message: "Failed to launch server application". Paint opens, closes, opens, closes and then the message pops up.
I tested several files, different bitmaps, different dpi's, new files with newly converted bitmaps (filled rectangle to bitmap). To no avail.
Is there any way to "carry on" a lasso selection once you have released it?
What do I do if I make a mistake with the lasso tool right at the end of a big lasso? How to I delete the little bit it messed up and carry on where I left off with the selection?
Also, how do I "add" to a lasso selection? Say I have made a magnetic lasso selection and it selects my t shirt ok but cuts across the neck line of my t shirt (thus cutting off my head) because it cant tell the difference between the background and head. How do I then use the manual lasso to cut around my head and join the two pieces together into one selection?
Inventor 2013....Ive assigned appearances (wood etc) to my model but they dont show up in an ISO drawing view when choosing "shaded". It shades it but not the appearances ive chosen.

The program has had no issues until the last 2 weeks. The actual issue I am having is Paint works fine as a separate entity however when I try to edit a bitmap from within X4 an error pops up telling me "Failed to launch server application" This is a major PITB as I own a graphics company and this is causing no end of problems
I have a model part with colors assigned to different features but they do not carry over to the assembly model. The assembly first came up as all grey when our computers were upgraded to Windows 7, I have been playing with it and got some of the color back. I am new to Inventor and not familiar with how the colors work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently opened a LR catalog from an external hard drive connected to a new mac pro. All the 'user templates' are there and all the images in each respective collection, although I had to re-connect them as the originals had moved to a new external hard drive but... most (not all), but most of the images I had adjusted in 'Develop' have gone. Most of the images I made a virtual copy of before adjusting have reverted back to the original raw image without the adjustments.
If I have to start all over again from scratch or is there a magic 'LR Develop adjustments' file I haven't transfere to the new laptop and hard drive?
Are the modifications that you make during development added consecutively as you make each one or are they all added up and applied once at the end?
In other words: say I have a RAW file, well exposed, but it's flat and boring. So I choose to knock the whole thing down 1 eV in exposure. Then I use the adjustment brush and add 1 eV to just my subject. Is my subject essentially untouched as to exposure, or has the subject been brought down and taken back up and thus would have some inherent noise and whatnot?
And does the same apply for adjustments other than exposure, like clarity or tint?
I am using LR4 and PS-CS5. I just upgraded to LR-4 but now when I select an image to edit in PS, the LR adjustments have been stripped. I have looked at preferences and menu items but cannot find how I can change this.

Mapping, keywords, rating, development adjustments etc... The old catalogues are on the new hard drive. How can I get LR to find my ajustments? Or do I have to do it all over again :S ?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I use send an image from LR to PS using "Edit in..." Only some of the LR adjustments show up in PS. (E.g. color adjustments are visible while crop and exposure are not). All versions (LR, PS, ACR) are the newest. I am on mac OSX 10.9.1.
