Jun 22, 2011exporting pictures with a PNG watermark to the exact ratio of 1:1 is impossible! that mean loss of resolution and quality of the watermark...I believe this is a BASIC function.Also the border distance trim for the image watermark, have too big steps.

Image opened in CS5 includes some adjustments from the Develop Module, but not the Transform Lens Corrections that I had applied.

Feb 6, 2014Since i have updated to PS CC en Lr5.3 the edit in function in Lightroom doesn't function properly. Or sometimes not at all. I removed the adobe plist files. And then it will work. Accept when I restart the computer the next day. The problem keeps comming back! The operating system is Apple mavericks.

Jan 20, 2005My digital camera has a tendency to distort as the image nears the outside of the frame. Is there a photoshop function that can correct this? I have tried the Transform functions (skew, distort, etc), and correcting half of the image is easy by dragging the corner grips away from the center to stretch the image, but, when I go to the opposite end of each given side, the distortion returns. The problem is the grip at the midpoint on each side moves with the rest of the side when using this feature. Is there a transform feature or other command that does something similar, but the midpoint grips stay stationary, basically taking the rectangular shape of the image and making it into an hourglass or four pointed star?

Apr 13, 2012After Installing Corel X6 I found it's no longer possible to edit bitmaps directly from CorelDraw X5. I uninstalled Photopaint X5 but that didn't work. I checked the filetype and made sure that cpt files were opening with Photopaint X6 but Edit Bitmap remains greyed out in CorelDraw X5. Is this because X5 is 32 bit and X6 is 64 bit? I still need to use X5 because various macros don't work with X6. How can I get Edit Bitmap to work both in Draw X5 and Draw X6?

When attempting to open EDIT, the system either cycle for 30 seconds and then simply disappears, or a pop-up appears "PSE 10 has stopped working" and cycles for 30 seconds and then closes the program.

Dec 19, 2013Whenever I try to collapse a group of edges in Edit Poly mode there is always 1 edge that is left intact therefore creating undesired results. This doesn't happen in Edit Mesh mode, and also behaves accordingly in previous versions of Max.

CorelDRAW X6 :: Edit Object In A Group With Drop Shadow
Aug 27, 2013I have 3 objects A, B, C, I group them together, apply a drop shadow.Now, let's say I need to resize or reposition one of them, I'm unable to select the particular object.
It's suppose to work with Alt+Ctrl+Click, but it doesn't.I always end up with editing the drop shadow rather than selecting the object. It's very trouble some needing to discard the drop shadow, make the changes, and re-apply the drop shadow.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Edit Drop Down Menu Hotkeys?
Jan 9, 2014Is there any way to edit these underlined letters "hotkeys" in the inventor drop down menus? Having to add lots of leader lines and such to multiple weld symbols get old. Or is there a way to make a key alias to do this? I have not been able to find where this is done in inventor. Ive done it many times in CADD.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: Can't Edit Drop Shadow Properties
Nov 30, 2012Applying contour to a text and trying to apply a drop shadow afterwards, the drop shadow properties can not be set.
No matter what item you select in the Object Manager, the drop shadow toolbar's controls are all disabled.
PS: I just noticed this is true for the drop shadow tool in CorelDRAW X6.2 in gereral. I'm not able to edit any of the drop shadow properties.

Jun 5, 2008URL.... "Failed to launch server application" when trying to edit a bitmap out of CorelDraw, only later saw that specific post was for X3. I have the same trouble, only with X4.
To recap my problem: When calling the "edit bitmap" function in X4 - I receive this message: "Failed to launch server application". Paint opens, closes, opens, closes and then the message pops up.
I tested several files, different bitmaps, different dpi's, new files with newly converted bitmaps (filled rectangle to bitmap). To no avail.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Ribbon-layers Drop Down And Hatch Edit Functions Not Working?
Sep 5, 2012I was working on a drawing file when my ribbon went haywire. My layer drop down seems frozen so it only shows the current layer and the hatch edit ribbon does not function properly.
The issue with the layer drop down is if I select a line, fill, etc. on any layer the layer drop down on the home ribbon does not change to show the layer that item is on and if I select multiple items on different layers which usually causes the drop down to go blank it still shows the current layer. The object color, line thickness and linetype all change on the properties tab to show the properties of the selected item so the entire home ribbon is not frozen. If I scroll through the layer drop down and select a layer to move the selected item to a new layer AutoCAD responds *Invalid selection* Expects a point or Window/Last/Crossing/BOX/All/Fence . . .
The hatch edit ribbon is completely useless. The angle and scale boxes are greyed out and if I select any of the buttons (Set Origin, change hatch pattern, etc.) AutoCAD again responds with *Invalid selection* . . .
The only CUI shown is the ACAD.CUIX and I have done a Reset and Restore, changed the workspace, restarted AutoCAD and restarted my computer. What am I missing?

Jun 9, 2011complete Corel X4 uninstall 3 times already .... even went so far as to reboot the registry to a date before I installed Corel X4 Suite to no avail.
The program has had no issues until the last 2 weeks. The actual issue I am having is Paint works fine as a separate entity however when I try to edit a bitmap from within X4 an error pops up telling me "Failed to launch server application" This is a major PITB as I own a graphics company and this is causing no end of problems

I'm trying to find a way to add a border + watermark around an image upon export. A bit of background: I shoot music concerts and have a series of 20-30 images per show that I need this done, some are landscape some are portrait orientation. And keeping the correct photo order is important as I need to show the concert as it happened. I know it can be done in Photoshop via actions, but I'm really trying to move away from PS and do everything in Lightroom.
Pictures speak louder than words, so here is the before (without border or watermark) and the after (same photo, nothing lost, with white border around and the photographer name on the bottom right).

Mar 1, 2012I have edited about 100 photographs over the past few weeks using Lightroom & Photoshop - stupidly, I was concentrating so much on ensuring that my images had a watermark on them, i managed NOT to keep a non-watermark version for sales.
Is there any way I can remove the watermark that is on the JPEG file without having to go through the hassle of re-editing them as it is unlikely I will be able to get the same results as before.
I should say that all of my files have been exported OUT of Lightroom & into a seperate file on Windows Explorer.

Dec 29, 2011I only have my watermarked folder of a clients images. I always save one folder of watermarked, one high res for them. I have looked everywhere and even used a recovery program to try and find the original folders. So in short the only images I can use are the watermarked ones. Now when I import the photos, the thumbnails show the image without the watermark, and it isnt until they are being imported, one by one the watermark is being applied to the image i see.
So if it is being reapplied, then that means the image still exists separately from the watermark.Is there anyway to seperate the two without having the orignal file? Or to have the watermark not reapply when importing?

Dec 16, 2013I'm running on LR 5.3, but this problem persisted in LR 5.2. Working in PS CS6 and Camera Raw 8.3. RAWs are NEFs from a Nikon D600.
I can't figure out what happened but suddenly I am not getting prompts when moving from LR to PS to "Edit Original" or "Edit a Copy".
I reset all dialog warnings and nothing. The prompt will appear for TIFFs but not for NEFs.
It's kind of pointless to not be able to choose to edit an original or copy with LR adjustments for a RAW when they are the file types that retain my RAW editing information.
Plus, when I do click on a NEF and choose to edit in PS without the prompt (it will appear with lightroom adjustments, not as original), it will open a second icon for photoshop on my dock, and prompt me to continue trial? I have a version of PS installed with the serial plugged in, and in LR "edit in PS" for a TIFF will open this primary version.
Lightroom :: 4 - Watermark Pixelated After Export
Oct 5, 2012Lightroom 4? My watermark is pixelated after export.
I've checked my logo everywhere else and it's wonderful, crisp and clean - including while resizing it in the preview for watermark setup, but for some reason it's pixelated and awful looking after lightroom export.
