I'm a Corel VideoStudio X4 user and I have recently noticed a small problem. Every time I am trying to copy a color in the font area (Edit Colors) and keep it for later on (color pick function), I get no luck with it. The color does not stay in the box (add for custom colors).

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy digital camera has a tendency to distort as the image nears the outside of the frame. Is there a photoshop function that can correct this? I have tried the Transform functions (skew, distort, etc), and correcting half of the image is easy by dragging the corner grips away from the center to stretch the image, but, when I go to the opposite end of each given side, the distortion returns. The problem is the grip at the midpoint on each side moves with the rest of the side when using this feature. Is there a transform feature or other command that does something similar, but the midpoint grips stay stationary, basically taking the rectangular shape of the image and making it into an hourglass or four pointed star?

View 9 Replies View RelatedAfter Installing Corel X6 I found it's no longer possible to edit bitmaps directly from CorelDraw X5. I uninstalled Photopaint X5 but that didn't work. I checked the filetype and made sure that cpt files were opening with Photopaint X6 but Edit Bitmap remains greyed out in CorelDraw X5. Is this because X5 is 32 bit and X6 is 64 bit? I still need to use X5 because various macros don't work with X6. How can I get Edit Bitmap to work both in Draw X5 and Draw X6?

After selecting "Edit in CS5" I do not get the dialogue box asking if I would like to apply Lightroom adjustments.
Image opened in CS5 includes some adjustments from the Develop Module, but not the Transform Lens Corrections that I had applied.
Since i have updated to PS CC en Lr5.3 the edit in function in Lightroom doesn't function properly. Or sometimes not at all. I removed the adobe plist files. And then it will work. Accept when I restart the computer the next day. The problem keeps comming back! The operating system is Apple mavericks.

When attempting to open EDIT, the system either cycle for 30 seconds and then simply disappears, or a pop-up appears "PSE 10 has stopped working" and cycles for 30 seconds and then closes the program.

user of Corel Videostudio pro x5 and gradually getting to grips with the functionality, however I have come to a dead end on one issue. I have edited a video ready for sharing and have gone to create a disc with a menu. I did not want any of the existing menu template so managed to create my own using a photograph as background and adding text I have managed to edit the text to change font etc but when it comes to the navigation buttons I cannot seem to be able to edit the properties. When using customise I can choose the different styles of button but cannot change the colour of the buttons to suit my template colour scheme. For some reason whenever I run a preview the play button always turns out to be pale blue colour. Currently on the create disc function I am selecting DVD for testing purposes instead of burning expensive Blue Ray discs however when finished I will want to burn blue ray discs.

I use gimp to make layered stencils for spray painting...I reduce it to a couple of colours, seperate the colours into different layers and then cut them out...
When I do im left with a ghost type image where the original layer was..

URL.... "Failed to launch server application" when trying to edit a bitmap out of CorelDraw, only later saw that specific post was for X3. I have the same trouble, only with X4.
To recap my problem: When calling the "edit bitmap" function in X4 - I receive this message: "Failed to launch server application". Paint opens, closes, opens, closes and then the message pops up.
I tested several files, different bitmaps, different dpi's, new files with newly converted bitmaps (filled rectangle to bitmap). To no avail.
complete Corel X4 uninstall 3 times already .... even went so far as to reboot the registry to a date before I installed Corel X4 Suite to no avail.
The program has had no issues until the last 2 weeks. The actual issue I am having is Paint works fine as a separate entity however when I try to edit a bitmap from within X4 an error pops up telling me "Failed to launch server application" This is a major PITB as I own a graphics company and this is causing no end of problems
I have a trial version of VideoStudio Pro X4.The overlay tab is not present at the top of the interface. Is this feature left off of the trial version? The video I have in the overlay track is blank and cannot be seen over the main track. Am I doing something wrong or is the feature not part of the program? I need to be sure there is a chroma key feature that works well before buying the program.

I am not sure what they are for other than to mark a place on the timeline. I also noticed that when I burned the video to disk, there was a skip or brief pause at the exact location where the green marker was located. So I have two questions:
1 Was the "skip" at the marker purely coincidental or was it caused by the marker and
2 What are the markers for?

Why does this not work?
I'm trying to build a command to replace AutoCAD's "DI" command, to give distance and delta x, y, and z values in decimal and imperial, and keep the angles in XY plane and out of XY plane.
i'm working on a job with 2 colours. I already did this using CMYK and setting 2 of them to 100% and the other 2 at 0%. But people who press these posters say me that they always have to convert the CMYK file to a 2 colours file. Is there a way to set my colours to 2 colours instead of 4?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using Video studio X3 for a while now and without problem but I'm really struggling with editing an old DVD of mine.
I've copied all the VOB files to my hard drive, changed the .vob to .mpg on all files, imported to X3 and tried to multi-trim each file - which is what I always do and usually without problems.
For some reason, these MPGs seem to race through at 5/6 times normal speed on the timeline and yet the edit/preview window plays in normal time ...... result being that the slider reaches the end of the timeline for the file and yet the video is still running quite happilly in the viewing window !!!
It's impossible to edit like this as the timeline and the window are not only out of sync but running at different speeds !
I'm trying to be able to have a function run another function with the secondary function being passed as an argument to the first. I'm trying to create a recursive function and the recursive part works great. I just need to be able to have the recursive function run other functions to actually do stuff.
Here is something I found that should do what I need, mainly run a function from a function name in a variable.

I'm just hoping there is a way to do this or this function will be useless or reduced to hardcoding functions which still defeats the purpose.
I used to work in MediaStudio Pro which I really like it because it is very user friendly, then suddenly Corel killed them all by buying them, and never continue that wonderful program.How to edit the audio on the timeline? What I mean is, in MediaStudio Pro, from the Audio in Timeline, I can raise the audio up, then few minutes, low it down, then few seconds later, raise up again etc...From what I see right now on X6, for audio I can only either use the Audio filter to low down or to raise up the whole clip but not, raise up or low down at at any part that I want to.
