I exported an image from LightRoom to Photoshop to edit it. After saving it in Photoshop and closing, I went back to LightRoom and couldn't find it anywhere. Usually it's in the same folder as the original. I also can't find it anywhere on my hard drive or in recent files in Photoshop. I know it saved it because it was a huge file and I had to wait for it to save before photoshop would close.

I understand that if I save without changing the file name or type, it should put it back in the same origin file.
I tried setting my save settings in PSE to write over original and it still didn't show up. I tried making a duplicate in iPhoto and editing it .... nothing.
In the destination box that opens upon asking it to save, everything looks good. ie it appears to be saving it in an extension on an extension of a numbered file in the iPhoto library.
How do I go back and remove a text layer after I have save an image as jpeg?

I just installed Lr3 (was using 2.7) and CS5 (was using CS3). From Lr I took an image to retouch in CS5 and when it came back to Lr it looked terrible - the exposure had changed at least a stop and I did not do that in PS. I loved how I had Lr2 set up and I have lost it all. In Lr2 the edited image would automaticaalycome back with a T (for tweaked) added to the name and look like it did when it left PS.

I'm guessing that I'm seeing a JPEG preview then I'm getting what the RAW image looks like? If that is the case, is there anyway to get that preview color back without exporting as a JPEG?

View 4 Replies View RelatedHow can I get multiple images on 1 page to line up when printing on both sides? Dimensions are 3.5x2.5, 9 to a page. They are sportscards for son's baseball team. They are slightly off by 2-3 cm on all 4 sides and in betweeen. Extremely frustrating. I tried printing in Photoshops but text is blurry. In Lightroom, Images look absolutely perfect. If they would only line up. Using a Canon MG 6200 if that matters.

How do I find the bit depth of an image in Lightroom 4.4?
I used to use the 'back' button all the time in my old windows version of PSE organiser. I have now bought PSE 11 for my new macbook and finding that all the reasons I wanted to use PSE organiser rather than iPhoto are fast evaporating with this version. One of them is the 'back' button. If I scroll down down down a long way and find a particular photo and then deliberately or even accidentally, change the view to see data (that incidentally I used to be able to see in the same view on the info side pane such as folder location ....) then I lose my place in the media display and cant get back there like I used to. and have to hunt for the photo again. Similarly when I select a tag to display the selection containing that tag and then want to return to the previous main media display I return to the top, rather than wherever I had progressed to. This didn't happen in my old windows version. I cant understand why the developers would think it was a great idea to remove this facility, but I cant find it. It was invaluable when I was going back through the catalogue to old photos and adding tags or other info.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tend to always have a few pictures in rotation that I end up cropping multiple times when I am printing. Pictures where today I need to print a 4x6 and tomorrow it's a 5x7 of the same picture, etc. I am trying to figure out a way to save the file with that cropping. Ideally there would be a way that if I also modified anything else in the image that would also show up in the other versions. I know there is Create Virtual Copy, and that could work if I could then figure out how to change the file name so it would show that it was cropped for 5x7 or whatever.

I asked them to save it back to version 2000, so I can open it. Well, I can open the file, but I'm getting this command "ARXERROR: eNotThatKindOfClass.. whenever I do a basic command??

When I tried to bring the files up in the Revit architecture program I get an error message that the drawing was created in a later version of Revit. Is there any way to save the MEP file back to an earlier version of Revit like one could do with Autocad drawings?

Drop shadows are not new to this latest version of Illustrator so shouldn't they still be editable when saving to a version above CS?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got a dodgy Google Earth screenshot that I've chucked into CAD to scale it (approximately) and more importantly align it to the correct coordinate system as per the survey. However, I need to use that image in another modelling program (which only accepts image files).
Question is - is it possible to export just an image from Autocad back to an image file? I obviously don't want to plot the entire drawing to PDF/BMP or anything, simply extract the image that I have resized. Or any other way of getting an image from Google Maps or the like and scaling it correctly?
I am trying to find a faster way to save my images. I shoot in raw, save raw images as jpegs after editing them in Camera Raw. I am using Photoshop CS6 on a Mac version 10.7.5. When I save, I either have to save as a copy of the exisiting image, or replace the image I'm working on. Other forums I've read said to make an action to save and create a function key to make this process faster, but my function keys aren't working, and playing the action I've created still makes a copy of the image.

1. Select an image > right hand click on that image > Arrange > I cant perform ---> Bring to front, Bring forward, Send backward or Send to back.
I'm not sure exactly what I did to my photoshop. I'm use a MAC platform. This is what it looks like right now but I want to to go back to being like the image on the bottom. I think I turned on or off something but I have no clue what I did.
