Last week I updated my mac to Lion and encountered a problem with lightroom 3. It wont let me preview the print in print mode now! before it did! now when i try and print, it just prints a white blank print?!
Luckily i used my macbook pro, the same problem happened in the lightroom too but it printed the image rather than blank printing
Any reason why i cant see the print preview any more?
When I open Cs2 Illustrator up its already set to outline view. If I click preview or ctrl Y its goes to preview but only for a split second before going back. Even if I go to document setup It says that it's not in outline view. Is there any way I can permanently set it to preview mode?
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust downloaded LR 5 and noticed that I cannot jump back from a Publish Service folder preview to a different folder preview in grid mode. The only way to view photos in another folder is to restart LR 5. This only happens when I am viewing photos in a Publish Service such as Flickr.
I updated from LR 4 using Creative Cloud installer.
I have my CS 6 to let the printer control things. However, my print mode is not working and my advanced color mode does not work. What can I do?
View 3 Replies View RelatedA couple of questions. I am running the latest version of LR (4.3) in Mac OSX 10.8.2 environment. I notice that, occasionally, the previews in Library mode do not actually represent all the true images. When choosing "Show in Finder" the image is not as seen in the preview. This issue rears it ugly head only occasionally. Also, is the newest version only running in 64 bit mode? When Getting Info, I see no selection box to deselect 32 bit mode.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just discovered, that when in Library module, and viewing my photos in Fill mode, it is not sharp. It is in fact so blurry, that it is unusable. Not sure I remember it correctly, but it happened also during the tethered shooting and viewing image on secondary monitor.
Interesting thing is, that once in a Develop module, Fill mode preview is sharp. I tried different settings re preview in Catalog Settings and Preferences, but no success.
I have recently updated LR to 4.3 and am trying to run a contact sheet. I've specified "Draft Mode Printing" but LR continues to try and render all the images. Each page has 108 cells and I'm working with RAW images so it's taking way to long.
In the past it was able to produce and print these types of contact sheets in just a few moments.
Obviously doing something wrong, I can't seem to select the print templates mode, they appear when I hover them on the left hand side of the screen but they don't then transfer to the center image, I select single, package and custom but nothing happens, I also select the photographs in the collection but the center screen doesn't import either the photo or the presets.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to figure out a problem I'm having trying to print using ABW mode on my Epson 3880 from LR5.3 - it is greyed out an inaccessible. I'm familiar with the safety net that precludes double color management when LR is set to print with a profile. But even when I have output set to "Managed By Printer" I still can't access ABW. It's grayed out. What am I missing here?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI tweaked an image in Develop and printed some 5x7s until I got it right and then went to 13x19 (first time ever using that size with my R3000). The print preview and the print were way too red. I went back to a 5x7 and it was way red as well in print preview, so I didn't print. I replaced a light magenta cart that I think ran out during the 13x19 print, and then some others that were low, and did a nozzle check and that was okay. I have spent hours looking around all of the settings (sRGB) and can find nothing that would explain what changed between my last good 5x7 print and the red 13x19. I went back to earlier versions and had the same problem. Monitor is due for recalibration, but that probably has nothing to do with it since it changed so suddenly.

I'm trying to create a photo montage. I have all my photos in cells on the page, but now I am trying to zoom in on and move photos around within each cell (sort of what you do when you upload a photo in Facebook). This was quite easy for me to do in Aperture, but I can't seem to find out how to do it in Lightroom.

When I hit print and go to print preview, all my images are turned on end which makes review difficult. Is there a way to view them as they should be, landscape. In Lightroom, everything is set to landscape and in the printer module, it is all set to landscape. Just in print preview, they are turned on end.

The strange thing is that in OSX's "Preview" the saved file shows up as being 72 ppi
However, in Photoshop the same file shows up as 300 ppi:
At this stage I would blame "Preview", but if I save the image in Photoshop, then open it in Preview it shows up as 300 ppi:
In LR4 i didn't get any problem but with LR5 some functions linked to the slideshow turn to a "blank" screen.The problem appears when I try an impromptu slideshow in the library or a play, a preview in the slideshow section.
I reset the default setting in LR, I download the last driver for my graphic card but without success. With LR5.2 RC this is the same.
My O.S: Windows 7 - 64
There's a gap between the edge of my tonal information and the end of the histogram box on both sides of the graph. No matter how bright or dark I make the image it does not show clipping and the values do not slide to the far edges of the box like they used to. Also, holding down option when dragging the 'whites' and 'blacks' sliders no longer shows me clipped values no matter how bright or dark I make it.
View 16 Replies View RelatedI was editing phots when I suddenly realized that sharpening tool, neither the adjustment brush for sharpening or ordinary sharpening, would be shown in Library mode or when photos were exported. When I see the picture in Develop mode, they seem fine and I can adjust the sharpness as usual. So something goes wrong between Develop and Library mode.
I have Lightroom 4.4. The ISO level in the pictures are not high at all, so that is not the problem, as I have read some explanaitions of. When I see the picture in 1:1 in both modes, they look the same after sharpening. But if I zoom more, I can definately see big differences.
How do I change the size of my thumbnails when working in Library mode?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the Printer Settings drop down menu both Color Mode and Print Mode are grayed-out. This just happened I cannot think of anything I've done differently.
I'm using OS 10.6.8 and the latest Epson drivers for the 3880. I have re-installed both PS and the Epson drivers. If I print from Acrobat Reader everything seems to work fine, this only is happening in Photoshop CS5.
So I am working on this document and it has silver background. I go to print preview (Photoshop cs3 and cs4 on Vista) and I get color looking more like bronze looking but when I do print, it comes out just like it should (in working mode which is Monitor RGB with Proof colors checked).
This setting is the only one I've used to make sure image/psd looks exactly like what it should when printing. I tried the default Working CMYK with and without Proof colors but it's still showing me the bronze look instead of silver. I've looked on the net and no exact easy fix for this was found. I really really appreciate any help.
Another simple question is regarding size. I'm working on a document size of 17.5 x 8.7 inches and the actual Banners will be printed at size 175 x 87 inches (5 banners each at 35inch wide but combined into a big one). So essentially, I'm working at 10% the size of what the final print will be and my file size is 760mgs. You can only imagine how big the file would be if I work on the actual size.
I received an Autocad file from another person, opened it with Autocad 2011 LT, and it looks fine. But when I go to print preview all the lines are very thick, making the detail of the drawing difficult to see. I've tried manually changing the lineweights but it has no effect on some of the layers. Is there an easier way to fix this other than recreating layers?

I have a site drawing which has a decently high resolution satellite image underneath. When I try to plot to a pdf, the underlying satellite image doesn't show up. In the plot-preview mode it does show up, but not in the actual pdf created.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI¨m working on a RGB document; it´s not going to be printed, but I need to simulate the overprint effect and also to use some "out of gammut" RGB colors that display very different on CMYK. I have the overpirnt preview checked; also, the objects I want to overprint have the Overprint Fill checked on the Attributes window. I even tried converting to spot colors, since I got the "In RGB documents, overprinting only affects spots colors" message. Still, no overprint preview.
