No problem printing other files.Btw, from Document Properties, it shows that there are two RGB fills, which I cannot find.
That's the reason why I go into Print Preview to look at the separations.
So I am working on this document and it has silver background. I go to print preview (Photoshop cs3 and cs4 on Vista) and I get color looking more like bronze looking but when I do print, it comes out just like it should (in working mode which is Monitor RGB with Proof colors checked).
This setting is the only one I've used to make sure image/psd looks exactly like what it should when printing. I tried the default Working CMYK with and without Proof colors but it's still showing me the bronze look instead of silver. I've looked on the net and no exact easy fix for this was found. I really really appreciate any help.
Another simple question is regarding size. I'm working on a document size of 17.5 x 8.7 inches and the actual Banners will be printed at size 175 x 87 inches (5 banners each at 35inch wide but combined into a big one). So essentially, I'm working at 10% the size of what the final print will be and my file size is 760mgs. You can only imagine how big the file would be if I work on the actual size.
I received an Autocad file from another person, opened it with Autocad 2011 LT, and it looks fine. But when I go to print preview all the lines are very thick, making the detail of the drawing difficult to see. I've tried manually changing the lineweights but it has no effect on some of the layers. Is there an easier way to fix this other than recreating layers?

Notice the flickering when selecting print preview?
CorelDraw X6 disappears for a second or so to display print preview - showing all background windows.
When I attempt to view text with no fill and a hairline outline in the print preview nothing shows. Is their anyway around this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe are having issues with Corel X6: when we try print preview, the print preview window opens, but after we click print, it just crashes and that's it.
Both corel and Windows are updated, and the machine is clean.
I'm currently working on an XP 32 bit system with AMD Athlon 64 3200+
CorelDraw is displaying a print preview but is otherwise completely idle. It has finished displaying the preview, so it is just waiting for user action but has nothing else to do.
Photopaint in another window was running extruciatingly slow so I checked task manager. CorelDraw.exe was showing to be using 98% of the CPU.
On further investigation, this happens only when the print preview is on the screen. I close the print preview, return to CorelDraw design screen and CPU is 0% when idle. I do another print preview -- 98% CPU again.
I'll try it later on a quad core system, but it seems that print preview should not be hogging the CPU when idle waiting for operator action.
I have a rather large job, a book with 370 pages. when we want to reprint w/o any changes i would like to turn off the print preview to eliminate the delay.
How to bypass the print preview?
I've been searching for this for over a week & finally thought I'd better go to the experts!
I have a 2 page document that has CMYK on one side and 100% Gayscale (with 2 Grayscaled bitmaps) on the other side. My problem is that when I go to print preview it shows the Grayscale as CMYK Separations. My printer is counting it as color instead of grayscale so we are being charged much more than the grayscale would be. I haven't changed anything in my color profile and actually deleted my ColorSettings.xml and rebooted Corel Draw to reset the color profile default. Still no change.
What I am used to (& what I need) is for the print preview to show my page 1 as CMYK separations and my page 2 as black like it used to. I do a lot of ads and need to be able to determine if there is any color in my document when there shouldn't be.
Problem number 2 is that around my grayscaled bitmaps when my document is printed there are thin black lines showing up where the edge of the photo is. None of which shows up in print preview.

I was playing around with my settings and did something that is keeping me from printing. When I go to print preview, the page is blank. I have tried opening up jobs that I successfully printed before and they also show and print blank. Everything looks normal in the work area. I just can't print.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI would like to use the label print feature of Corel DRAW X5. When I do the following steps:
Choose File -> New...
Create a new file with A4 size and 300 dpi
Choose Layout -> Page Setup....
Goto "Document" -> "Label" in the options tree
Select "Labels" (instead of "Normal Paper")
Select a predefined label layout (problem exists also with a custom label layout)
Click on OK -> New page with one single label as the size has been created

Choose File -> Print Preview
I expected to see the "matrix" of labels (e.g. 4x10 labels), but I only see one single label in the middle of the page.
Just upgraded from X3 to X6. Still getting used to it, but so far so good.
On one layout, some items on a printable layer do not appear on the Print Preview. The page contains a monochrome bitmap, some text and a curve. Only the bitmap appears on the print preview, yet everything prints.
It doesn't happen with every job. Not a big deal on this job, but there will soon come a time when I need to know what will and will not print.
I just installed X5 and I'm opening files from ver 11. It's all opening fine, but when I click on anything, the screen flashes pale blue. When I look at a print preview - it's ALL a blue tint. Can't work with that. I'm running Windows 8.

I do a select all to see what nodes show up outside the page - none. Print Preview doesn't show what will be cropped.

I am ready to print my stuff. But I have to manually use the pick tool in the print preview window to move my pages around so that they will print the stuff in the center of the pages.
I do my print run. And then save the "Print style".
Come back the next day and I have to re-do all the adjusting of the work again so that it all gets printed. I would have thought that saving a print style would make it so that next time everything is the same as before.
I am wondering, if is possible to move content of print preview window. View picture for better understanding. In version X4 it was possible.

I cannot see the full spectrum of my document size in print preview. I have my document setup as 8ft. X 5 ft.
But when i try to see it in print preview it only shows my document between 3 1/2 ft. to 4 1/2 ft.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen printing I unchecked center image in PScs5 and reduced the size of my image, using the achor in the preview window, to run a test print. I'm printing to an Epson 3880. Once I ran the test print, I returned to PS and my original image. Selected print and only the preview of the test print is there. The orginal sized image will not load in the preview window. I have deleted the PS preferences and restarted twice. Even after moving to another machine, the profile seems to be embedded in my image. The same preview image is on the three machines I moved to.

When she chooses Print with Preview and sets up all the parameters within the dialogue, and finally clicks print, the job goes straight to the printer (Epson 1440). She told me that on the old computer it would produce a preview as indicated and she could check colors, sizing, etc, before sending the job to print.
I've gone through and can't see any changes to be made that would enable this feature.
I am using CS2. when I print with preview and choose "any" icc profile, I see an off color image. This off color image is printed off color and not what I originally had. It is approximately 1/2 to one stop density lighter (and redder) and the shadows are cyan/blue, instead of neutral black.
If I choose Adobe RGB as the profile and print, the image is close but not correct. This is happening with CS2 and elements 6.
Of course the r1800 is set for ICM and off - no color adjustment.
I have down loaded new profiles, reinstalled my epson r1800, checked for missing files in CS2.
I am running windows XP Home, 2gig memory, dell xps. I have been using this system for over two years without a problem until now.
I have autocad 2013 student version installed on a MacBook Pro with OSX mountain lion, worked properly, but now I can not print anything in paper, pdf, or preview. I just try re-installing the software, creating new layout, select the printer from "Edit page setup" menu, without any results.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the 2013 civil 3D version. I am doing a site plan for school, and would like to print it out so that everything shows up clearly.
I would like to print it on a 24x36 sheet, so I have set up my page to that size. When I maximize my viewport to the page borders so that the viewport is at its largest and scale the viewport so that the entire site plan fits in the viewport, everything shows up so small in the print preview screen. The annotations show up as black bars and I can only read them if I zoom in. I have limited access to printing so I want to make sure I get it right! Will I be able to read the annotations and hatching once it has printed? Even though I can't read them in the print preview or layout without zooming in?
I am using annotation scaling, so maybe my text height is wrong? Maybe I need a larger sheet than 24x36? My viewport and annotation scales are set to 1"=20' and box drawn around my site would be about 100' x 300'.
