When I open Cs2 Illustrator up its already set to outline view. If I click preview or ctrl Y its goes to preview but only for a split second before going back. Even if I go to document setup It says that it's not in outline view. Is there any way I can permanently set it to preview mode?
View 2 RepliesLast week I updated my mac to Lion and encountered a problem with lightroom 3. It wont let me preview the print in print mode now! before it did! now when i try and print, it just prints a white blank print?!
Luckily i used my macbook pro, the same problem happened in the lightroom too but it printed the image rather than blank printing
Any reason why i cant see the print preview any more?
Illustrator files open only in preview mode and tool icons are gone. What do I do?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI¨m working on a RGB document; it´s not going to be printed, but I need to simulate the overprint effect and also to use some "out of gammut" RGB colors that display very different on CMYK. I have the overpirnt preview checked; also, the objects I want to overprint have the Overprint Fill checked on the Attributes window. I even tried converting to spot colors, since I got the "In RGB documents, overprinting only affects spots colors" message. Still, no overprint preview.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust downloaded LR 5 and noticed that I cannot jump back from a Publish Service folder preview to a different folder preview in grid mode. The only way to view photos in another folder is to restart LR 5. This only happens when I am viewing photos in a Publish Service such as Flickr.
I updated from LR 4 using Creative Cloud installer.
A couple of questions. I am running the latest version of LR (4.3) in Mac OSX 10.8.2 environment. I notice that, occasionally, the previews in Library mode do not actually represent all the true images. When choosing "Show in Finder" the image is not as seen in the preview. This issue rears it ugly head only occasionally. Also, is the newest version only running in 64 bit mode? When Getting Info, I see no selection box to deselect 32 bit mode.

I have a site drawing which has a decently high resolution satellite image underneath. When I try to plot to a pdf, the underlying satellite image doesn't show up. In the plot-preview mode it does show up, but not in the actual pdf created.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just discovered, that when in Library module, and viewing my photos in Fill mode, it is not sharp. It is in fact so blurry, that it is unusable. Not sure I remember it correctly, but it happened also during the tethered shooting and viewing image on secondary monitor.
Interesting thing is, that once in a Develop module, Fill mode preview is sharp. I tried different settings re preview in Catalog Settings and Preferences, but no success.
I am trying to ram preview in Adobe After Effects CS6, and it just doesn't work. It doesn't show it loading or anything.

You can watch the video, linked below, but the basics are: I do a selection, scale the selection, make a new layer out of the floating selection result. I try to run a RGB Noise filter on the new layer and no preview shows in the filter dialog or it doesn't show correctly. If I anchor the floating selection into the original layer, instead of making a new layer out of it, the preview shows correctly. Is this a bug... or?

i have 3 layers in photoshop. Backgroundlayer1layer2Now on layer 2 i did a selection and entered into quick mask mode and then applied gussian blur.
When this is done does the selection borders try to blend with the back ground or will they try to blend with the layer 1 as it is the layer just behind the layer 2. In case if there is no background, I mean if all three are layers then what happens?
I'm now suddenly unable to use Full Screen Mode.I have a PC, and always would use the 'F' key to toggle between screen modes. But when I do this now, the screen just wobbles then stays in the standard screen mode. Even if I go to View --> Screenmode --> Full Screen Mode, the same thing happens.

In school, I can work in full screen mode and pan the image out from under the palettes. I can't do this on my home PC. Is there a way to make this work or is it a Mac or PScs feature?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm working with AutoCAD 2012 and I was surprised to find out that after typing: 'CAL "Expression" came up; and from all appearances, you'd think Autocad was awaiting (if not expecting) my input. However, none appeared on screen as I typed.
CAL command worked.
My setvar of CALCINPUT is set to 1.
When I select a number of images to survey and flag one of those images, all images in survey mode are flagged making the culling process extremely difficult. This only started happening since upgrading to LR 4.2 May have to resort to LR 4.1 until fixed
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am working with CS6. I am attempting to add shadow to my text, which is a simple enough process. However, it doesn't appear as though my blending modes are working. Putting it on as a Multiply doesn't do anything to the solid shadow catcher. I have seen in the forum that some have had luck by changing the solid color, but this does not work for me.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI created a gradient and tried to save it for web, but the preview only showed me a dark orange color. That was the foreground color, but I don't know why that became the entire picture.
Also, I saved it anyways, and when I opened the image using picasa photo viewer, the gradient showed up just as I wanted it to. However, when I placed it on a webpage, there was only a dark orange color. URL.....
How do I 'resync' those settings? I'm completely new to photoshop so I have no clue how to do that.I also tried changing the foreground color to black, as he suggested. The preview still showed an orange color.
