Jan 27, 2013I have my CS 6 to let the printer control things. However, my print mode is not working and my advanced color mode does not work. What can I do?

Lightroom :: 3 - Preview Not Working In Print Mode
Dec 20, 2011Last week I updated my mac to Lion and encountered a problem with lightroom 3. It wont let me preview the print in print mode now! before it did! now when i try and print, it just prints a white blank print?!
Luckily i used my macbook pro, the same problem happened in the lightroom too but it printed the image rather than blank printing
Any reason why i cant see the print preview any more?
Photoshop :: Color Mode And Print Mode Grayed-out In Printer Settings
Sep 24, 2012In the Printer Settings drop down menu both Color Mode and Print Mode are grayed-out. This just happened I cannot think of anything I've done differently.
I'm using OS 10.6.8 and the latest Epson drivers for the 3880. I have re-installed both PS and the Epson drivers. If I print from Acrobat Reader everything seems to work fine, this only is happening in Photoshop CS5.

Jul 23, 2012I am running PS CS5 12.1 on Mac OS 10.7.4 and all of a sudden I cannot open any file in Application Bar mode (I can see the preview of the file I want to open as a Layer thumbnail, but it won't open on the screen). However, all is OK in Application Frame.

Dec 15, 2013I am unable to print from PSE11 editor. i receive an error message stating 'photoshop cannnot print this document'. I can print standard photos from the organizer but any edits I make in editor are unable to be printed. I have checked the printer, it works fine for every other application. I have uninstalled and re-installed PSE11 but still no luck. The problem appears to have started since I installed a new printer (Epson XP). Photoshop is recognising the new printer from the print screen.
I have also tried saving my works in other formats (e.g. PDF) and saved to my desktop. I can print these but the quality is quite poor.

Nov 10, 2013i have 3 layers in photoshop. Backgroundlayer1layer2Now on layer 2 i did a selection and entered into quick mask mode and then applied gussian blur.
When this is done does the selection borders try to blend with the back ground or will they try to blend with the layer 1 as it is the layer just behind the layer 2. In case if there is no background, I mean if all three are layers then what happens?
Photoshop :: Full Screen Mode Not Working?
Nov 13, 2013I'm now suddenly unable to use Full Screen Mode.I have a PC, and always would use the 'F' key to toggle between screen modes. But when I do this now, the screen just wobbles then stays in the standard screen mode. Even if I go to View --> Screenmode --> Full Screen Mode, the same thing happens.

Mar 8, 2004I may sound like an idiot, but I'm confussed about this full screen mode. I'm taking a digital imaging class and we use Macs and PScs there. At home I have a PC with PS7. In school, I can work in full screen mode and pan the image out from under the palettes. I can't do this on my home PC. Is there a way to make this work or is it a Mac or PScs feature?

Sep 19, 2012 I have recently installed Photoshop CS6 after previous happy experience with CS3. The software appears to be seizing up when editing a selection in quick mask mode (image or layer mask) under the following conditions:
- 64 bit mode
- image > screen size, especially at 100% maginification
- or image magnification adjusted whilst in quick mask
The red mask appears slowly and only where I move the mouse curser - but will not cover the entire masked area.The software freezes, and I have to kill the process from the OS. Task manager shows its status as 'running' and memory / CPU do not appear to be maxed out.

Photoshop :: Quick Mask Mode STOPPED WORKING?
Aug 1, 2005For some reason my quick mask mode stopped working. I can go into quick mask mode. I can highlight what I want to select. but when I exit out to make the changes I wanted to, the only thing selected is the outside edge of the image I'm working on. So instead of having the extent of the image and the part I highlighted selected (basically everything except what I colored in QMM) only the extent of the image is selected.
I have even uninstalled photoshop, re-booted, and re-installed photoshop and I still have the same problem.

The print function works fine while in organizer and sharing mode, but not from full edit. When I try to print from full edit, I get an error message with a red "X" on it that says: "Before you can perform printer related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." I can't figure it out. The printer is in "ready" state, and works fine in the organizer mode, and in share.

Dec 19, 2012I have recently updated LR to 4.3 and am trying to run a contact sheet. I've specified "Draft Mode Printing" but LR continues to try and render all the images. Each page has 108 cells and I'm working with RAW images so it's taking way to long.
In the past it was able to produce and print these types of contact sheets in just a few moments.

Apr 14, 2013Obviously doing something wrong, I can't seem to select the print templates mode, they appear when I hover them on the left hand side of the screen but they don't then transfer to the center image, I select single, package and custom but nothing happens, I also select the photographs in the collection but the center screen doesn't import either the photo or the presets.

Mar 12, 2014I can't seem to figure out a problem I'm having trying to print using ABW mode on my Epson 3880 from LR5.3 - it is greyed out an inaccessible. I'm familiar with the safety net that precludes double color management when LR is set to print with a profile. But even when I have output set to "Managed By Printer" I still can't access ABW. It's grayed out. What am I missing here?
