I'm creating a PDF form in InDesign (9.2.1), and have used the Buttons and Forms palette to set options such as Multiline and Scrollable, but these are not being exported in the PDF.
I'm using the Interactive PDF export option, and I've tried quitting/restarting InDesign, and Acrobat Pro, but no luck: when the PDF is exported, the options aren't 'attached' to the PDF fields and I have to manually apply them again in Acrobat Pro. My form is 12 pages long, and having re-set these options in Acrobat is going to be both time consuming, and a duplication of effort!
One of the features I was really looking forward to in CS6 was creating fillable forms with ONE application. I created a form following the step by step instructions in classroom in a book for CS6. When I opened the exported form in Reader X, I get a "This operation is not permitted" error. I opened the completed "end" document in the lesson to make sure I didn't commit an error, and I got the same message when exporting. I have looked for places in menus to modify security restrictions and I can't find any. I installed the updates and that didn't solve the issue.
I saw one solution posted which is to open the document in Acrobat, then do a "save as" option. Is there anything we can do that doesn't involve buying additional software? If this is not the case, then Adobe seriously needs to change its training and advertising about this functionality.
I am trying to add alt tags to objects in an InDesign CS5 project. The guidance I can find tells me to go to Object > Object Export Options.The problem I have is, there is no Object Export Options option available..
I created an interactive form in InDesign CC and do not like the check marks as they are not visible enough. Can I globally change the check marks to "X" marks?
how to create a hyperlink to email a PDF form to an email address. So the user finished completing the form fields and then wants to email the current form they just filled out in Acrobat and want to submit the filled out pdf to an email address that is listed on the document.
When I do a detailed set of drawings I first start with the overall and ballon the part showing the BOM. The following pages will reflect the detailed parts balloned on the first page. Is there a way, without haveing to manually type in the BOM, to reference which page this detail is on in the BOM?
I have one of the floors in our building doing something wacky. The 5th floor reflected ceiling plan looks fine so I create detail plans for the suites at a different scale. this new suite blowup has what looks to be the same suite but everything is greyed out and when i switch from coarse detail to fine detail it doesn't do a thing.
The orignal full reflected ceiling plan looks fine. The line are black. The detail swithces back and forth... I can;t figure out what the problem could be. I used the same process on other floor and everyting is OK. The View Ranges are the same and everthing else in the properties seem the same too.
I'm new to lightroom but have watched all the tutorials on the Adobe site. I imported photos going back to 2002 and have been reorganizing them within Lightroom. I've been organizing in new 'year' folders, and moving photos and folders into these new folders, then I've been removing the old folders. So in lightroom I now have nice neat folders 2002-2009 on my Mac hard drive, and 2010-2013 in my Box sync folder (also on hard drive but syncing to Box online). The trouble is, the moves haven't been reflected on the Mac itself. When I look in Finder, the folders are broadly as they were before I started moving things.
Ive been using inventor for around 2 months now and its all been going good... ive recently done a rather complex assembly that id rather not redo... unfortunately... i ungrounded the base part fiddling with it trying to find a working constraint set for my needs (evenly spaces cylinders on a base plate and a centered on a mounting plate... i ended up using holes and the cylinders screw holes to align them but still this was AFTER i messed it up)
So now because of that the default view is skewed by roughly 45 degrees or so... now i have set the front view manually to reset the ground plane.... but if i stick this in a dwg as front its as if i did nothing... and yes i have triple check to make sure ive set the front view.
I've got my grid & bubbles as a separate construct that I bring into my different plans. When I bring it into my reflected ceiling plan, the grid shows up, the bubble's extension lines show up, but the bubbles and numbers/letters contained within are not showing up in the reflected display...
When I open a file from PSE 11 Organizer in ACR 7.4, make my edits and hit done, the edits made in the Detail tab are not reflected when the file is viewed in PSE 11 Organizer. I had this problem a while back and found a thread that provided a cache or directory change that fixed the problem.
I am working on a form (global) and have added a picture with a parameter and a picture folder underneath. So that the picture displayed on my form will change depending on the parameter value.Here comes the trick. Only text parameters can be used!On the form editor only 'Text parameter' can be selected to drive the picture selection. I actually need an integer, so that i can use my User/Excel parameters from Inventor.
I can work this around with an iLogic rule to equal the value of my string Picture Parameter with the relevant integer Inventor parameter, but the rules need to be run before the pic and the form updates (by pressing the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the form and then the assy updates too. So this takes a couple of minutes)... whereas if it was an option on the form editor then the update would be instant without waiting for everything to update...
Is there a particular reason why the Picture Parameter only can be a text parameter?
The options window will not display when typing "options" in the command line or selecting from the drop down. The options menu has to be hidden somewhere because AutoCad will not allow any other commands after typing options until I hit escape. I have tried restarting CAD and rebooting my computer with not luck.
After making changes to an image (sharpening, exposure, contrast, etc, etc) in the develop module, when I head over to the library module, the image does not show the latest changes. What's worse is when I export a JPG of the image, it exports the original! What's the point in having LR?
I want to AutoCAD do not lock it's space, when my Form is shown on display. But I have an exception when I use modeless dialog.
public void MyCommand () { //------------------------------------------------- // Using this code, my program works fine, but locks modal space of AutoCAD System.Windows.Forms.Application.EnableVisualStyles (); System.Windows.Forms.Application.Run (new Form1 ());
// I want to use this instruction to do not lock modal space // Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.ShowModelessDialog (new Form1 ()); //------------------------------------------------- }
If I use modeless dialog I can read and write from acad prompt and create block; BUT I can't create BlockReference.
I get an exception "eLockViolation" in the next code instructions:

Visual Lisper trying to migrate to .net! how to restore a form?
I have an "about" project which contains 3 forms.
Form1 is displayed by default when the command is called...it contains two buttons which both close form1 & open form2 or form3. What I would like to happen is that when form2 or form3 is closed, form1 will be restored.
This is the code which defines the command & shows form1:
When I insert a video to the timeline the only way I can have sound playback is to open the sound mixer. I had this happen once before and I reformatted my hard drive and re-installed everything and It worked fine for a while but now the problem is back. What is causing this to occur. Even when I insert a sample sound into the music track I get an error message when trying to play the clip.....Unable to play the file (16804:2:1)......and it won't play in project mode unless I use the sound mixer.
Is there a way to get columns in form? I would like to put
Hole F Type { List the types} Hole F Location {input box} Hole N Type { List the types} Hole N Location {input box} Hole G Type { List the types} Hole G Location {input box}
I'm using visual studio 2010 and autocad 2012 x64. When I make (visual) changes to a form in the editor between debugging, for example the width of the form, the changes aren't visible on next debugging, it's still the same width as it was before. Same thing for font size, when changed the changes are not showing when debugging again. Almost seems like autocad remebers the previous layout of the form. A new control added between debugging shows up fine.
I'm trying to enter a model parameter value with a VBA form, but I don't know which type of control to use neither how to write the code. I want to enter a number or a value with any control and use this value for modify a model parameter.
I have a simple code with a line:
oModelParams.Item("z").Value = 25
I want to make something like:
assuming that "TextBox1.Value" is a numeric value obtained with a control at the form
