Is there a way to apply a color to selected objects without having to search for the color in the color palette. So say if I am working with an image that has multiple colors but want to use only one of the colors in that image, is there a way to apply it without having to create or add it to the palette.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOne of the features I was really looking forward to in CS6 was creating fillable forms with ONE application. I created a form following the step by step instructions in classroom in a book for CS6. When I opened the exported form in Reader X, I get a "This operation is not permitted" error. I opened the completed "end" document in the lesson to make sure I didn't commit an error, and I got the same message when exporting. I have looked for places in menus to modify security restrictions and I can't find any. I installed the updates and that didn't solve the issue.
I saw one solution posted which is to open the document in Acrobat, then do a "save as" option. Is there anything we can do that doesn't involve buying additional software? If this is not the case, then Adobe seriously needs to change its training and advertising about this functionality.

I go to options, document,general and change it from CMYK to RGB click document to save styles for all but it doesn't save it. When I export I have to manually change CMYK to RGB and the resolution every time. In other versions once I set it it was always there. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am new to Corel Draw X4 after using illustrator. I created some artwork for a client in hot pink. But when I try to print, or to save as a pdf, or open in illustrator it is not pink.
What do I need to do with my color settings? I have contacted Oki who assisted my in downloading the correct driver to print pantone colors. Therefore must by color settings in Corel Draw?
I still use Corel Draw 12 and my question is is there an easy or automatic way to make the outline color of an object the same color as the fill color? I do it the hard way of trial and error until I get the right outline color from the color dock/pallette.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having a major issue here, I use custom colors (created in my custom palette), X^ used to hold it very nicely, even in PDF exports etc.
Now - with the latest update, X6 "forgets" the custom colors, it resets it to default color, I have to manually set every object to the custom color all over again.
Is there anyway to transform a 4-color CorelDraw picture into a 2-color one at reasonably good quality?
The problem I met is at the galley.
I could, or might, only be able to get a 2-color printer at reasonably good price.
The original design is 4-color. But the actual detail is not very important.
They are book covers, which only need to protect the book.
The exported picture is shown below:
To create 2-color artwork from any colored vector clipart I used to be able to:
import colored clipart convert to CMYK if needed select entire graphic and create new styles with 2 parents change (edit) the colored parent to a named Pantone spot color (the child colors automatically become percentages of the Pantone spot color) "find and change" the remaining CMYK to Grayscale, and then back to CMYK (this ignors the spot color and converts the annoying rich blacks to percentages of K) export to a PDF file--which when imported into, say, InDesign, will separate on the K and Spot Color Plates only, in all its glorious shades of gray and tints of Pantone spot color.
I'm completely at a loss on how to do this in X6, and I'm on a short deadline.
I received a floor plan from our corporate office and can't figure out how to color code restaurant table sections. There has to be a way in either adobe 7.0 pro or in ps 7.0 that you can fill color into an object. Also, for some reason when i create text boxes they don't appear nor do they print. I am really really new to editing pdf files and ps and adobe 7.0 pro.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have multiple files open in Corel every day, and then, at the end of the day I have to run to get my lift (never at the same time!) and I would love a way to save all my files with just a click of a button.
I know Dreamweaver had this function - not sure if it still has, but I would love for Corel to have this so I don't have to scroll through all my open files and save them! If the file is not named it can pop up the save as box as usual and leave it open till the next day.
I have to save before I go, as we have very unreliable power and the UPS systems are not reliable either.
I am trying to color a part of an object in specific form. (see the picture below) So, I have a restangular and a circle in different color. What I am trying to achieve is only the part of the circle that is over the restangular to be visible (example with photoshop- restangular on layer 1, circle on another layer above it, alt+click to create a clipping mask and it will produce the effect im looking for). However, when creating clipping mask here (from object-clipping mask-make) it seems that either the circle or the restangular will disappear. Are there other ways to achieve this, or I'm looking into the wrong one?

I got a problem to open a dxf file. If I use command method then I can easily do that. But I want to open that file by clicking a button from my windows form. I did the coding for that specified button like below:

How can I open the drawing without commandFlags.session? I want to use the button of my form to open that dxf file.
I am working on an application that uses map to query data, then saves the data to a file, and repeat. It works flawlessly when I use a commandmethod with commandflags.session, But, when I try to run the same code from a form button, I get "drawing is busy". The command from the form button ignores the commandmethod and the commandflags. I am guessing that "sendstringtoexecute" would work, but I would prefer to not do it that way.
What am I missing? Is there another way to lock the session?

close and discard drawing1

View 2 Replies View RelatedOur Council has been updating our school system. We have the design suite and have chosen Inventor 2013, AutoCAD 2013, Inventor Fusion.
The issue is that in Inventor the EDIT FORM tool isn't on the Ribbon. It also isn't on the add in's for Inventor 2013 either.
We also downloaded the suite direct from AutoDESK.
I wish to create a form that with multiple buttons. Each button will place another component (platform, stairs, ladder, railing).
I wish to place them using 'Place iLogic Component"
I know you can call this command by:
ThisApplication.CommandManager.ControlDefinitions.Item("iLogic.PlaceComponent").Execute
But is it possible to automatically browse to and open a file this way using a path "C:CPSVaultPlatformComponentsStairs.iam" within this command?
When I print the same file out of X6 & X4 the color is much different. I know this has to do with color management but now sure how to correct. The color coming from X4 is much better.

View 5 Replies View RelatedYesterday CD upgraded itself as I turned it of to go home from work, when starting it the day after all seemed to be as it was util I should print out a color separation. Suddenly I now have to check every color that I want to print out, the only color that doesn't need to be checked is black(cmyk black) all pantoen colors have to be checked.
Why is this changed?
Can I set it up so all colors is to be printed as default?
Also having some trouble in exporting to EPS, when exporting all seems fine, but the file appears to be empty, the next exported files seems to be fine thou. First export is always empty.
For our sublimation printing, we use Corel X3,
For some time we have problems with the colors.
As standard pallette we use Pantone Coated, but after I export a .cdr to .eps some colors are replaced with a new color with the same name, when I open it in Coreldraw again afterwards. The colors are placed in a new user pallette and have different CMYK values.
How knows how to keep my PMS coated pallete?
Color nodes are blue by defaut. When I draw something with blue, I would like having red nodes, or another color. I guess there is a set-up for that, but I realy don't find it.
How do we change nodes color ?
On the bottom page the outline box has a white vertical square/line on the right of it. Since this happened my outlines are transparent when place on top of other objects. How can I fix this to get it back to soid colored lines.
