I installed cs5 and used it without problems. I downloaded a trial version of cs6, and when it expired, I get a message that say cs5 has quit unexpoectedliy everytime I try to open it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but it still will not open.
View 1 RepliesMy main plug-in will not work with Photoshop CS5 in 64-bit mode. It was working fine for awhile, but now it won't. I took my computer to the Apple store for them to look at it. They said that even though we are telling it to open in 32, the program is ignoring that command and opening in 64 bit, thereby causing my plug-in not to work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt happen recently when I try to launch Adobe CS6 Illustrator, the loading stop at switch library and quit unexpectedly. I did not encounter such issue previously. I tried updating Illustrator patch but it is still having such issue.

I have tried to customize keyboard shortcuts in CS4 but each time I quit I lose all settings. (they work fine til I quit). I have saved new sets, overwritten previous sets but they don't seem to save.
Otherwise, speaking as a recent convert from Freehand, CS4 is wonderful now multiple pages have been added
This may sound like a stupid question but I have been doing a bunch of work on different photos over the last few days and every thing has been working fine.
Today I had the program open and was working on a project with the eraser tool and I had to leave to answer the phone. When I left the tool was working fine while I was away from the computer it kicked into sleep mode. When I came back and went to start where I left off the eraser tool would do nothing.
I have since garbaged that whole project, restarted my computer reset all the tools you name it and I can not get that or the paint brush to work.
The eraser tool will make a very fine scratch no matter how I set it.
What happened while I was away from my desk????
I do not have any kids or anyone else that would have messed something up.
Does anyone have any ideas, is it something simple or should I try reloading the program?
I have noticed in the last few days that my Lightroom 5 (CC) is failing to quit. I run it on a mac with the latest OS. I have to force quit the program.

F1 doesn't work and neither does any of the buttons on the Help ribbon. I haven't uninstalled the 2013 version yet. Was hoping to not have to.

Recently, when I save PhotoShop 5 photo files, they no longer create image thumbnails, just pixelated squares. Is there an adjustment to correct this? I am running CS5 on an iMac with OS 10.75.

The main function is for adding block in a collection (the user select block). The programm quit, so the user can open a another dwg and run the main function for adding another block. (i memorize name, handle, name of file etc..)

I just tried to do an xref and the command stops everything. I get no reaction from autocad. What is wrong?
here is an update: The Xref Palette is docked to my left side and when I hover to get it to flip out I click the DWG button in the left hand upper corner. Well nothing happens from there. Now, when I type -xref the command works at the command line. How do I get the palette to work again?
If I try to use the hints, it takes me to the sign in box. When I try to sign in, the program hangs up. I can not cancel or quit the program. I have to use a Force Quit. It appears that I am locked out of some of the features unless I am signed in. Regardless, I would like to use the hints as this program is new to me. I have also tried to sign in by clicking Sign In in the upper tool bar. Same problem.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running LR4.3 on a Vista 32 bit system. I have a new Toshiba external drive that has been storing my work from lightroom. All has been working great until last night. I was working on photos and all of a sudden a banner came across the top saying photos is missing or offline and then that the folder was missing. The external drive was still plugged in but not lit up. I unplugged it and shut everything down (multiple times) but the drive has disappeared from the selectable drives on the left hand side. I can access the external drive through windows and my photos are there but LR4.3 does not see it. How can I get LR to see the drive again?

PSPX5 on a Win7 machine.I've been using this program a long time. Been using this setup for almost a year. Suddenly, the "preview" pane of the the "manage" tab has just quit working. It's whited out. I click on a thumbnail and the image info shows on the side pane, but the main frame just remains white. I've tried restarting the machine, to no avail. The existing tags in the files still read correctly, but if you try to insert a new tag, or a room name or number updates, the only way to get them to read the correct space information is to close AA and restart it. I have not been able to identify any common circumstances when this occurs.
We are on AA 2010. This morning I had barely been in the program an hour when I had to restart just to change a room name.
Every time I try to connect to adobe.com I always arrive on the Autodesk Tool with Backburner and WiretapCentral page.
I can used each browser I own it still the same. I try to flush cookies everywhere and it's the same.
It looks like the page adobe.com (YES) is redirect to a local page from Autodesk.(only [URL])
I try to do the same in an other user account on my mac, and it is the same.

Updated Windows. Disabled antivirus. Quit all other applications. Error 1935 - an error occured during the installation of assembly component. When the installation process rolls back it deletes the DVD drive as well!!! Seems it is impossible to install this program? No matter whatI do, error 1935 every time.

As I finished working on some new pictures and started working on a slideshow the application quit and asked me if I wanted to upgrade again, as I did that when the application started again the folder of the images I was working on was not there any more. How can I retrieve this again? Did I loose the images and the work I did on them?
