Problem:
Adobe Illustrator was working fine on my MacBook Pro. That is in the shop being fixed, meanwhile I have a loaner computer which is what the specs are above. All my Adobe apps work, except for Illustrator. When I launch it, it loads everything but just as the main menu across the top loads I get an error stating:
Configuration error uninstall and reinstall the product.
I can open Adobe Illustrator fine, but as soon as I select an object, before I release, the software crashes; if I'm lucky I can move the object, but before I release it, the software crashes.

It's now saying, "cancelling print" for 20 minutes. I know its likely frozen but I don't want to lose my work. I have a mac and so I made a JPEG of the image, using GRAB application. Is there any way to save what I have? I know if I "Quit" the application, I'll lose it. How can I get it to finish it's "cancelling?"

View 1 Replies View RelatedImmediately after launching PS CS3 everytime, I get an error message "could not import the clipboard because there is not enough memory (RAM)".
Now, I googled for this error and found it seems to have been a problem ongoing since VERY early versions of Photoshop. Apparently it is recommended to dlete and recreate the Windows swapfile, since the error is probably caused by a corrupted or damaged swapfile. Well I follow this advice and it fixes the problem, at least for a while. Then a little while later the problem comes back.
Any idea why I am suffering the problem and how to fix it permanently?
Whenever I go to open up Adobe Photoshop (64bit or otherwise) it will load up for a second then crash the next. It doesn't give me error reason why only says it has stopped working and it can't detect a problem so it closes. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the program but the Adobe Application Manager is also acting weird. When it is opened it freezes and soon crashes saying there is a "Download Error".

I'm new to OS X and find this quite annoying since it was really easy to get compressed PDF files doing it from Win XP. I read somewhere that the only way to get the same result is to save Postscript file from Photoshop and then convert it to PDF but obviously something's wrong in my settings. View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to print to Adobe pdf. I know I can use the DWG to PDF which works great, but I don't know if this is a bug or a setting that I have to adjust. At first I thought this was an Adobe Pro X problem, but now I'm 100% sure it's a setting or something in ACAD. When in model space, if I print and print to adobe pdf, the file looks good, sharp. I can zoom in all the way and it looks good. But in paperspace, when I print to Adobe, the quality is awful. like if it printed an image. It looks ok zoomed out but when I zoom in (and not that far in), the quality is terrible, what is it that I'm missing? What setting needs to get adjusted? It looks like an awfully compressed pdf file. Also, when printing in paperspace, it also takes twice as long. Its quick in modelspace and looks great.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis has happened since I installed the program last year. Photoshop crashes no matter what kind of image file I try to print. I use a MacBook Pro and an Epson Stylus Photo R200 printer. I have checked for driver updates and there are none. The printer works fine with other programs. I tried following the directions to run Photoshop in 32 bit mode but the option does not come up in my menu.

We just upgraded our user to CS 5.5 from CS 4. He still has CS4 installed. When we go to print the item he's working on via "Print" the program crashes. When we click "Print options" that crashes. Alternatively when we print via "Print one page" that works. I have removed and added the printer since we did the install and his version of software is fully up to date. Here's the error log.

Everytime I try to Print from Photoshop CS4 it will crash CS4. I have tried to set the default printer as the Microsoft Image Writer with no success. It does not matter if the image is a JPG or TIFF image. I have XP SP3 installed and it is fully patched.

When I try to print, every single time, I get the following error immediately:

Windows is checking for a solution to the problem
and then shortly after

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Quite infuriating. My printer works fine. I can print photos to it from Lightroom no problem (which, in this occasion, I had to do - saved from PS, imported to LR, then printed... very efficient!!).
I note there are other posts on this but they seem to be mostly Mac and also many seem to cure by upgrading to 12.0.4.
I am a relatively light user (keen amateur not professional) so I don't use PS regularly. However this also means it is pretty much an out-of-the-box install since I don't tinker with it either. It's so long since I last used it I can't remember if I had this problem last time - I vaguely recall having had it sometimes but not others. Doesn't seem to matter whether the file I opened is a JPG or a PSD (the only two I have tried).
Everytime I try to print from Photoshop CS6 using Windows 8 Photoshop crashes. I click the print option from the File Menu and bam it crashes and shutdown. No error message no nothing. I have installed the latest updates and still no go.
