View 4 Replies View RelatedI've recently updated my Mac OS to 10.9. Ever since, Photoshop will launch but as soon as I hit new or file open Photoshop (CS5) crashes.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my PC (Windows 7) Photoshop CS6 has been crashing since updating though Adobe Application Manager a couple of days ago. What is the best practice to uninstall and reinstall PS? I've had serious issues uninstalling before, so it's not necessarily a simple answer.
Â
I also use the Adobe programs on a Mac and I found it odd that Adobe told me all the applications needed updating when I checked on my Windows 7 system, but said they were all up to date on my Mac (an hour later).
Right now I can't even open Photoshop however before I updated it would open. Now it is crashing on start-up. Also during the updated this error happened:
Adobe Photoshop 13.0.3
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7
Â
Some additional information I've noticed is that the blue background of the launch screen has suddenly become transparent. Some things I've tried to fix it are clearing cache and cleaning bad font.Â
Â
However I was hoping to work on a project with it. Is there anything else I could try without resorting to uninstalling and re-installing it? At this time I don't have a way to re-install it as it's a company's version.
Â
This was not happening before the updated was installed. Had I known the updated would cause the program to crash I would not have installed it.
Photoshop cs6 crashes at startup after 13.05 update?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've experienced a large number of crashes since upgrading to last week's 13.0.2 update. I am on a MBP retina.
Â
There seems to be no consistency in the crashes. They happen on things such as changing tools, transforms, moving, zooming in... etc, but always with some action involved.
I am having periodic OpenGL crashes since the 13.0.1 Photoshop update this week. I am running the current 301.42 Nvidia drivers on a GTX550Ti card. There were no driver crashes in the 3 months before the update and the Nvidia driver was the same driver during this entire period.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI started noticing that every time my PSCS5 goes through an update, it wipes out all my brushes... today it crashed and i went to restart it and again my brushes have disappeared.. this never happened before, but lately it has been doing this... i get all my brushes online and had no problems with it early on until couple of months ago when it went through couple of updates and the next day i came in - restart it and noticed that all my brushes have gone...
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Photoshop CS6 (cloud version and actiive) has started crashing as soon as I load an image.
This problem began after an auto update of Windows 7 It took several tries before the Windows update to work (got error message saying Windows could not install updates) until this morning when the update was successfully installed. Now PS CS6 has stopped working.
I have used PS CS 5 and 6 for a couple of years and never had a crash until I downloaded the current Camera Raw update. Now it crashes in the middle of every edit session. Can I remove the update, or is there some other fix?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am using a Mac retina display with OSX version 10.8.5. It has an internal flash/solid state drive. I am a member of Adobe CC. Since I installed the latest Photoshop update (14.1.2, x64), my Photoshop crashes when I try to save (command+S) a .psd file.
View 2 Replies View RelatedImmediately after launching PS CS3 everytime, I get an error message "could not import the clipboard because there is not enough memory (RAM)".
Now, I googled for this error and found it seems to have been a problem ongoing since VERY early versions of Photoshop. Apparently it is recommended to dlete and recreate the Windows swapfile, since the error is probably caused by a corrupted or damaged swapfile. Well I follow this advice and it fixes the problem, at least for a while. Then a little while later the problem comes back.
Any idea why I am suffering the problem and how to fix it permanently?
I have updated downloaded and installed the patch for AE CC but still unable to launch AE CC.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis has happened since I installed the program last year. Photoshop crashes no matter what kind of image file I try to print. I use a MacBook Pro and an Epson Stylus Photo R200 printer. I have checked for driver updates and there are none. The printer works fine with other programs. I tried following the directions to run Photoshop in 32 bit mode but the option does not come up in my menu.

We just upgraded our user to CS 5.5 from CS 4. He still has CS4 installed. When we go to print the item he's working on via "Print" the program crashes. When we click "Print options" that crashes. Alternatively when we print via "Print one page" that works. I have removed and added the printer since we did the install and his version of software is fully up to date. Here's the error log.

Everytime I try to Print from Photoshop CS4 it will crash CS4. I have tried to set the default printer as the Microsoft Image Writer with no success. It does not matter if the image is a JPG or TIFF image. I have XP SP3 installed and it is fully patched.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am running 64-bit Photoshop CS5 Extended upgraded to current version (12.0.4).

When I try to print, every single time, I get the following error immediately:
Â
> Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working
Windows is checking for a solution to the problem
Â
and then shortly after
Â
> Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Â
Quite infuriating. My printer works fine. I can print photos to it from Lightroom no problem (which, in this occasion, I had to do - saved from PS, imported to LR, then printed... very efficient!!).
Â
I note there are other posts on this but they seem to be mostly Mac and also many seem to cure by upgrading to 12.0.4.
Â
I am a relatively light user (keen amateur not professional) so I don't use PS regularly. However this also means it is pretty much an out-of-the-box install since I don't tinker with it either. It's so long since I last used it I can't remember if I had this problem last time - I vaguely recall having had it sometimes but not others. Doesn't seem to matter whether the file I opened is a JPG or a PSD (the only two I have tried).
Everytime I try to print from Photoshop CS6 using Windows 8 Photoshop crashes. I click the print option from the File Menu and bam it crashes and shutdown. No error message no nothing. I have installed the latest updates and still no go.

I have been working in this file for weeks, but now I did the sp2 update and when I try to open the file, the font substitution dialogue box opens. No matter which option I select, it causes the program to crash and close.

PSE 8 will not print. Two printers are installed by windows 7, B/W and Colour.  Read support from Adobe about PSE 8 Organizer a to get a print job done but no PRINT box to select. By Right clicking on photo print shows but crashes Organizer. Have sent a description back. PSE 8 was reinstalled after HD changed to SSD. Was reactivated after install.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter updating silverfast software to a newer version then SF-8.0.1r24(AFL)_x86, Corel X5 and X6 did crash when opening a file.
It didn't uninstall Silverfast or to reiinstall Corel X5 or X6.
Only reloading th whole computer (Windows 7 Pro) from an earlier image did work. But when installing the silverfast Update, the same thing happened.
Silverfast says, they don't install anything into Corel suite. I should ask Corel about the problem ...
Everything else keeps running fine after the silverfast update.
I am not able to work on anything on photo shop elements because the color wheel on my mac shows up every time I try to work on a project.
