View 4 Replies View RelatedI was just trying the features of the new CorelDraw X6 recently. The first problem that I found was - it crashed when I tried to open a file (which was created using CorelDraw X5) with several Fonts (28 different script fonts used and there were only text in the file).
Then I again re-open corel X6 and when I tried to open the same file, it crashed again & again. I did this for 6 times with a crash everytime.
Then at the 7th time when I tried to open the same file in Corel X6, it just got hanged. The file is working fine (and opens quite fast) in Corel X5 as well as Corel X4.
I remeber similar problem happening with Corel X5 initially. Only after Service Pack 2 was made available for Corel X5, that problem solved. Is Corel X6 needs some patches too?
But in PS CS6 when I open any files all of the extras are defaulting to be turned on - the grid, guides, etc.

View 14 Replies View RelatedMy main plug-in will not work with Photoshop CS5 in 64-bit mode. It was working fine for awhile, but now it won't. I took my computer to the Apple store for them to look at it. They said that even though we are telling it to open in 32, the program is ignoring that command and opening in 64 bit, thereby causing my plug-in not to work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSome open fonts have extras for some characters and all. How are those accessible in PSP? I found a tutorial for Photoshop but i cannot see where, in PSP, those features can be accessed. Here is the video: URL....
Any way to get those fun extras from Open Fonts when they have them?
I am running XP and cannot set CS4 to be the default file to open my images. When I right click a file, select "open with", and choose CS4, nothing happens. I did not find this problem with CS3 or CS2, both of which I have uninstalled.

When I click on Open File, the window that comes up has several default columns (FileName, Date, Size, etc).
I can right-click on the tab bar and add "Date Modified" to the tabs, but I would like to have "Date Modified" be a default column whenever I open the file selector (and no matter which folder I open up).
I cannot find a way to do this. I want to know the last date I modified a file, not when it was created.
Is there a way to universally set this column as a default?
Why on ocassion Inventor tells me that the file I am working on is checked out by another user and that I cant save the changes. I find this a bit bizzare as I am the only person in the office using inventor although it is installed in other machines.I realise that all I have to do is steal the checkout, but I would really like to understand why it does this.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed Inventor Suite 2010 on a new computer and I am receiving this error on a majority of my files.
Cannot modify the library file W:T46DManufacturing Drawings8300673-.idw
Component W:T46DManufacturing Drawings8300673-.idw is not checked out to you. Edits are not allowed on this file.
I understand this has something to do with using Vault. However since I am the only one using Inventor and these files are not shared, I did not install Vault on the old computer or the new one.
Is there any way to easily determine if any file in a user's workspace is checked out from Vault?
I'm building an Inventor addin to clear files from a user's workspace. Before i delete any files I need to know if the user has any files checked out. I was hoping there was an easy way(inside of Inventor) to programmitically check if a folder contains any checked out files.

When I try to do a make components I get this error "Could not open default template file." All the Standard.xxx files are the designated folder and named appropriately. Plus I just used this command earlier today. I did do a "rebuild all" but I'm not 100% sure the problem came directly after that.

I recently added a second screen to my desktop and noticed that when I File Open in 2010, the box is always the small default size even after I change it numerous times. I use Display Fusion to manage the two screens but that is not the issue as this still occurs when I turn it off.

Any way to change the "View" of parts on file open? When I open an .ipt or .iam the Visual style view is always "Shaded". I want this to be "Shaded with Edges".
View 7 Replies View RelatedImmediately after launching PS CS3 everytime, I get an error message "could not import the clipboard because there is not enough memory (RAM)".
Now, I googled for this error and found it seems to have been a problem ongoing since VERY early versions of Photoshop. Apparently it is recommended to dlete and recreate the Windows swapfile, since the error is probably caused by a corrupted or damaged swapfile. Well I follow this advice and it fixes the problem, at least for a while. Then a little while later the problem comes back.
Any idea why I am suffering the problem and how to fix it permanently?
With the lastest update to Photoshop CS6 it crashes everytime I go to print.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using CS5, and for some unknown reason a few weeks ago a line started appearing around elements in my photoshop files - whenever I click on any layer in a .ps document, the perimeter of that layer is outlined. I figured out that I can type Command+H to make it disappear, but it only happens for that moment. The next moment when I click on another layer, the outline appears again, and it keeps appearing for any layer I clicked on (including the one I had just previously high Command+H for).
View 1 Replies View Relatedif there are any packs out for like photoshop extras, for extra filters or something? Cause my girlfriends says her school uses 8.0, same as her version, but there more options under filter>digimarc. My 9.0 only has the two watermark options so I'm wondering whats up.

How can I make this NOT on default?
A friend of mine installed "live update" on my pc with the result that every time I opened Photoshop, it would check for new updates on the web. I meanwhile rid myself of that program, but am now stuck with this: Every time I open a new file, it comes with a blue dotted line around it and two little symbols in the upper left. I can make it disappear by unclicking "View Extras" or using keyboard shortcut ctrl-H but as soon as I open another image, it's back and it's driving me nuts! I am using Version 7.0 and I assume it came with an update because it didn't happen in the beginning. I've looked through the "preferences" menu and checked Photoshop Help without any results. how to make this dissapear?
View 3 Replies View RelatedA designer sent me some great logos. But she left grid lines on. I can get rid of them temporary (hide extras), but not permanently. Tomorrow and a year from now, when I open the file, the annoying grids are back. I'm out of ideas. I'd really like to open these files and not see the grid lines.

I do not want it on there, and I want to know where in Photoshop I can alter this and save my settings, so that it will remember it the next time I open photoshop???
Another thing its as if the memory is completely off because PS is not remembering the last custom size I chose for a new PSD file, meaning I'll do 400 x 400 or whatever, and then 10 minutes later I'll need a new file open it up and if I want 400 x 400 again it makes me re-enter it.
