I need to make a Button For a wiki and Im not sure how to they want it circular with a image in it but not sure how i should do it heres a example of what they want just a diff. image. it just needs to be a circle and cant have any Background so it has to have a transparent background except for the image it self .
I would like to make a glass button using the following tutorial:
[URL]......
How to complete the "distort circle" part of step 4? In other words, what tool would I use to move the top of the circle downwards?
Step 4: Copy and paste your original circle onto a third new layer. Fill it with an even lighter shade of your selected button color. Distort this circle by moving the top downward while leaving the size and position unchanged. You want the top of the new shape to be around halfway down the original circle.
Also, how can I turn the completed project into an orb/planet/pearl shape?
I have made my own buttons, bars and LISPs for years and just cant figure out if there is a way to do this.
I don't know if this can be done....but I get so tired of reaching up and hitting the ESC button or the spacebar. I would love to be able to put this command on either the right-click menu or either on a button. (I know if you can put it on the menu, you can put it on a button...but you get what I am asking...)
I'm making a project on Visual Basic and what I'm trying to make is two pictures:one regular of a button with a nice frame.the second is that same button only having the effect of being pressed and pushed down.So I will program in VB that when the user presses the button it makes the effect of like a 3d pressed button.
I have made this button so far:and I would like to add it this frame (don't mind the other buttons):I'm using CS5 and my operating system is windows 7
Well, i made some buttons for a forum, but how do I attach a link to it to make it go to where I need? For example, if I make a button that says Forum, and make it go to to the forum part of the website?
I make all of my DVD menus in photoshop. I have been asked to make a small sidways triangle next to my titles in photoshop. Is there a simple way to make a small sidways triangle that will be used as a button on a dvd menu?
I'm trying to design a button and use it on my website, i have been on youtube and found a great video BUT... I want to make a button, and redo it about 30 times, the wording in the button will be... 1958, then 1959, then 1960, right the way to 1989, How do i make a blank button, then edit it 30 times without starting out from scratch, and how do i save each button without over writing the original blank "master" i have created.
But imagine the huge dismay felt when this dedicated user updated GIMP to 2.8.6 and found there was no maximise button any more! Is there anyway to get this button back??
I use it regularly as part of my work-flow, and now I find this once fantastic app pretty much rendered useless to me.
Not having the maximise button also doesn't allow me to see the bottom part of the program's window, so the bottom slider is useless to me.
Not having this pretty much puts my budding photography on-hold, as I resent having to pay an extortionate amount for Gimp's closest 'worthy' competition. That, and photosh*t doesn't play nice with Linux anyway.
Also, I don't have the ready cash to rush out and buy a larger monitor (for a laptop thats screen size works well for all other apps) just to use Gimp.
I'd like to make a button for the toolbar or the tool palette that will print consistently every time I use it.
For an example, I want to click this button that has the parameters for ADOBE PDF, 11x17, Lanscape, a certain Plot style table, etc......
I want to make a button for each print setting I use.
HOW...HOW can this be done? my inquiring mind wants to know!!
Having this little button will just me me that much more proficient, and ever bit of time certainly counts when under pressure to get out some drawings.
I know I can make a button on the ribbon for running a specific macro. But, is this possible for iLogic rules? I would love to be able to run rules and launch forms from the ribbon!?
I'm making some buttons for a game I'm making. The game has several themes you can switch to. I tried to make a gray button, and then add the theme gradient/image on top, but the semi-transparent parts of the button became solid.
I have a logo that I created using the script fu macros. What I want to do now is that create a button shape with rounded edge and put the logo ( a rectangular) and bend its edges to wrap around the button without distorting the text of the logo itself. how do I do that?
Today I found out that my Gimp 2.8 haven´t a "text along path" button in the text tool dialog. I must make it via the context menu of the text layer. Why is missing that button there?
after I created a path , added text, I couldn't find the "text along path" button (which is supposed to be at the bottom (text)tool option), so how can I make it appear?
I am trying create a double button image like this [URL].......
How I create this in Gimp? It is possible? I've tried doing it but the canvas is in the background, i want both buttons floating (with the grey and black squares showing behind).
I am trying to create an oval image for a button on a webpage. I make the canvas size about 90x40 and then select the ellipse tool and fill the canvas with it. I then bucket fill the circle/oval with a green color. How do I knock the rest of the white corners out of the image? I only want to green oval to be the final jpg.
I'm trying to use GIMP on Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick), installed using the regular packages. It seems to work fine apart from one problem: when I make a selection with e.g. the rectangle selection tool, there's no visible feedback of how big the selection is, only the cursor is visible(couldn't take a screenshot while the mouse button was clicked, but tried to show it at [URL] ......).
If I try to resize a rectangle, the inside purple line moves, while the outside purple line stays where it was (instead of showing how big the new rectangle will become when I release the mouse button).
Also, possibly related, there are sometimes purple artifacts from old selections.
I wrote some code in VB .NET 2010 getting started from Kean Walmsley project to create a new layer. I did it working directly from code and not using a command line as he did.
[URL] ...
The problem is that the same code works if I call it directly inside the application code, but doesn't if I throw it from a push button.
I'm trying to create a button that has a wood grain surface (got that) and rounded corners (check) and a rounded surface appearance. The last part I can't figure out. Is there something built in, or a script-foo that I have to use? (Win 7 platform, GIMP ver 2.6.)
I am growing increasinly frustrated. I just installed AutoCAD LT 2013 on my laptop. I managed to get everything customized the way I want, except the button icons on my (classic) toolbar are much too small. If I go into the menu and select 'use large icons', they are too huge. My screen resolution DOES NOT need to be changed or adjusted. I went to the help menu to see what I can do, and found that I can go into CUI and adjust the size of the button icons that way, via the button image editor, however there is no 'button image editor' dialog box when I select any given toolbar command.
I have a .psd file that was created by someone else for my friends web page. The psd file is the background, logo, and navigational bar for her home page. Each button is a "slice" I think because there are lines around each button on the left side navigational bar (not a true navigational bar just created by buttons) and around the head and body etc. (The lines are blue if that tells you anything - each section is numbered with a little tiny icon that looks a little like the back of an envelope.)
My question - we wanted to change the word on one of the buttons - I did that saved the psd file - no problem. Then I cropped out the button that we had changed. When I saved it to the web (as a jpg) the button looks like a button (a box around it - not a line a raised area that looks like a button.) The other buttons do NOT look like a button (even though the layers are named buttons.)
How can I change it so it looks flat (not button like) like all of the rest of the items on the navigational bar.
