The problem is that the same code works if I call it directly inside the application code, but doesn't if I throw it from a push button.
I get the eLockViolation error code.
I am creating PDF files through the publish button on AutoCAD LT 2014 and I have had a client ask me of the PDF files are PDF/A compliant. I have search and found nothing on the subject.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm running a batch process to apply a certain action. This action selects a color in the image, then switches to the alpha channel, selects a new background color, then deletes the content selected, leaving the area with a new rgb value. The problem is that not all the images have that color, so when it goes to select it, it doesn't find it.
Then an error pops up informing me that the delete funciton isn't available, since there's nothing selected. I've tried logging them to a file, but even then, the action stops at that step and moves onto the next image. Therefore it never makes it to the close step, so they remain open.
I am willing to do a text that is pushed-in in the sand as a foot mark.
How to do it or what effect or transfer mode to use ?
I am wanting to display previews (pngs) of the ai files in the plugin that match search criteria on a button. As the user scrolls through the results, change the button picture to be the png for that ai file. I tested it with a default image in case the image doesn't exist. The test image is cropped to the size of the button.
The pngs are necessarily 600x600 pix. (For other applications). I want to resize them for display on the button.
(The button is only 100x100).
Do I need to use Image/Drawer suites?

I have code that looks into all .ipts with a certain material type,that works great but if we run by accident there is no way of stopping code until it finishes .
I have created some custom button in VBA. I wish I can make those buttons toggling their image.
For example my custom button toggles Part/Component priority or Highligt on/off and I would like the button image will change showing the current state.
The background image color change will work too, or the some extra tiny mark on working sceen would be useful if it quite complicated to deal with ribbons.
Generally I need to see the current state at glance.
I'm trying to find a way to add a custom button to my ribbon that will launch a global rule or form using VB. I know of a way using VBA but I want to get away from VBA. I'd much rather create an add with VB and use that.

I try to move the search path that contain the file up to the top and also got all the missing libraries, but the code still won't work.When I run the code it will give me error message like: compile error:

The small block has attributes, is there a way to make it so that when its double clicked it oped the ddatte dialog box? my comoputer is set so that when double clicking a block with attributes this happens which is fine, but on some of the other computers in the office it comes up with a different properties dialog box. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been using a dialog box with checkboxes for creating layers for the past 5 years now with minimal problems. I don't know much about VBA code, but when there is a problem, I can usually figure out what is going on, which is generally a typo the causes it to error. The code was created by an employee that left the company about 3 months after I started.
After installing acad 2013 and the VBA enabler this code only partially works. It will create the layer in the drawings, but will not set the color, linetype or the description. When I click on the checkbox for any of the layer checkboxes I get a "Run-time error '13': Type mismatch" error. I click on the "Debug" button which opens VBA, the "This Drawing.Layers.Add" line in the below code is highlighted.
As a troubleshooting effort, I tried retyping the ".Color" line, when I had typed out "m_refg_pipe_n." a drop-down box appears, but "Color" is not an option anymore. The only color option in the list is TrueColor, which we do not use. In the next line of the below code, "Description" is an option. So I am guessing that the ".Color" line of code is the problem.

Using VB2010 Express to practice writing code to run things in Inventor 2012. I am an extreme beginner at this, and I am trying out a simple program that opens up Inventor, and when you click a button, it will open up the filename listed in the subroutine. I have attached a .jpg of my code. The program will open Inventor, and open the file, but as soon as the file is finished loading and displays on the screen, it throws the error you see in the .jpg.

Autodesk has agreed that this code does not work on Inventor 2012 and that the development is working on it. This code is part of the Snippets built in Inventor iLogic Rule Browser.
When trying to open the dxf file provided by my customer in AutoCAD 2013, it terminates with the error message as
'Undefined group code 440 for object on line 4974 Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.'
