Oct 13, 2012When double click on Uniform fill, its opening in Palettes menu insted of models menu. Its a bug for us. it should open in model menu.

Apr 23, 2012In Corel PhotoPaint X5, changing the fill color was possible by e.g. double clicking the (left-most) color square, then hitting Edit. Already, I found this was a bit too many clicks. Now in Corel PhotoPaint X6 it's gotten worse -- after hitting Edit, I'm not in the left-most tab "Models", but in the right tab "Palettes"!
My question: Is there any way I can open the Uniform Fill dialog with one click? (The Color Docker doesn't have a big color preview field so it doesn't work well for me when selecting and changing a color.) And is there any chance Corel will fix the bug with the wrong tab being opened?

Jan 25, 2012if i try and to open a new file or save as a current file, the windows box does not open. the command line does populate asking for file name, etc, but obviously is very tedious to navigate windows folders with a command line!
any obvious changes that would prevent windows folder dialogue box not to open?

Nov 20, 2011Running X4 under Win7 and it always goes back to the last file I was working on when I go to the Open dialogue. It insists on going to the Libraries Directory on my C: drive and 99% of my files are stored on my H: drive. Sometimes it's easy to get out of, other times I can't back up at all. Is there someway to gte the Open dialogue to simply go to My Computer instead?

Sep 4, 20121. I prepared a 57 mm square, proportionally resized it to 58 mm and applied enter for the change but it remained as is i.e. 57 mm sq. Next I made the same changes through property bar, it worked. Through further experiments I observed it only make transformations through enter if we give x=val and move to y=val through tab and press enter. Or if we directly give new value to y and press enter. The property bar doesn't has this problem.
2. Transformations dockers problem of showing wrong position on y-axis. Screen shot attached.
3. Open and Import dialogue boxes don’t get cancelled as we hit ESC key. This problem remains as is from v16.0.0.707.
4. Printing - EPS with CMYK / Native colour management shows graying problem on RIP. Facing it as a major problem.
Problems encountered even after resetting through pressing F8 at startup.

Aug 19, 2013I dobbleclick on fill-color icon in lower right side of the screen to change the fill-color. But no dialog-box appear. But if I try to click anywhere in Corel after this I just get a beep. Looks like there is a dialog-box outside screen or something.

I have a chance to design it myself and send a .cdr file to the company that manufactures it. I have some questions. I drew a basic shape of the suit and split it into 3 objects like this: URL....
Black legs is object 1, middle 2-color part is object 2 and white top is object 3, I wasn't able to fill the middle part with a black-white pattern unless I made it an object. I surely know there is a way to do it all with only 1 object that is divided into 3 sections but how? Smart fill works when you just draw some lines that form a closed contour but regular fill doesn't. Secondly, how to use a pattern fill that doesn't affect outlines? Third question is how to nudge only part of an object, for example if I want to make sleeves longer? Now I'm able to move the whole object only.

Sep 27, 2012I've seen many messages about this problem, for people using Corel X5 (and maybe X3 and X6) and Windows XP.
You double-click on the .CDR file name, but instead of the file opening, you get this error message:
If I drag the file to CorelDRAW, it opens. Same applies to .JPG and other files associated with PHOTO-PAINT.
I love CorelDRAW, but I'm convinced this is a BUG that seems to be ignored. It's been around for years. It's basic to how Corel works and works with Windows--I don't understand why they don't fix it. This is quite an annoyance; the good thing is I can always open the file by dragging it.
CorelDRAW version is 15.2.0.695. WinXP is Professional Version 2002, SP3. Found no answer in the Corel Knowledgebase. Never had this problem with CorelDRAW v.2-12.

Jul 2, 2013I'm working on 2010, and I can't get the PURGE dialogue box to show up when using the PU shortcut. It will open if I type out PURGE completely, but when I type in PU, stuff just shows up in the command prompt. I even went into the alias-editor and made sure PU = PURGE. I've never had this issue before, but I'm on a new system because I started a new job. At my last job, we were also using 2010, and everything was fine.

Feb 12, 2012I have LR 3.6 and have created a catalog of pictures from a ski trip I took last year. All of these pictures and the LR catalog are in one folder on my hard drive. After sorting, deleting and retouching quite a few pictures I now notice that one picture is missing from the library. If I open the folder in Explorer (Win 7) I can see the picture, and Windows Picture & Fax Viewer will open/display this picture so it appears the file itself is fine.
However, I cannot get this picture into the library for some reason. When I choose File>Import Photos this one picture doesn't show up in the list of photos. It's as if Lightroom can't see this picture for some reason.
Oh, and I don't know if it matters, but there is a movie clip with the same filename but a different extension (obviously) that does show up in the library and the import dialogue. The picture filename is DSC_0001.jpg, the movie filename is DSC_0001.mov.

Sep 1, 2012I recently started having a problem with the 'Merge to HDR Pro' process in photoshop CS5.
Recently, however, I have been unable to generate 32 bit images from the 'Merge to HDR Pro' process.
When I begin the process and select my files, the dialogue box I should see pop open to select 32 bit, 16 bit, etc. output options, does not open. Photoshop launches directly into the merge process, aligns the source photos, transforms, etc., and finally outputs a 16 bit image, which is opened in photoshop as if I had opened it from a source folder.
At no point in the process is the histogram of the new HDR photo displayed. I am unable to find any HDR preference pages where I could possibly change settings.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Open Dialogue Box Size
Jan 12, 2011Suddenly today my open dialogue box has reverted to an old-fashioned looking small thing about 7" x 4 1/2" which only shows 7 files at a time. Always before I got a nice big Windows Explorer style box nearly filing the screen. I'm running Windows 7 and Inventor 2011. Is there a switch somewhere to revert to the 'old' type box and that's got switched somehow?

Nov 22, 2013is it possible to Zoom and Pan whilst I have a title box open.I work for a company that has installed its own toolbar and and attribute box's to be filled out. My issue is that I need to zoom into various parts of the drawing to be able to fill out all the boxes.
Currently I have to close the dialogue box down every time I want to move the drawing to a specific area.If there was a command or setting that I could use to be able to keep the box open and move the drawing at the same time.
GIMP :: 2.8 Hangs On File Open Dialogue
Dec 7, 2013Windows 7 64 bit user.
Upgraded to 2.8 with total deletion of the Gimp folder to try to address this.
File / Open Recent works fine.
File / New etc same all good...
File / Open has a problem.
Once that window opens the product is hung.
There is no window to type the file name in, and I cannot click on any of the disk drive names.
I must admit that I have a good number of network and usb as well as physical drives. I do not think that any have changed names, but it seems clear that something like a path change is responsible?

CorelDRAW X3 :: Postscript Halftone Screen Using Paint Tool / Uniform Color / Options / Postscript
Oct 21, 2011I require an equally spaced fine line shading in an extrusion. I will take you through my process and then get to the problem.
I create an object (usually curved text), extrude it and break the extrusion apart; then I use the fill tool and open fill color dialog, change to palettes and select black, 20%; next I click on options and select Postscript options, from there I select line and an angle and frequency. This produces exactly the fine line shading I need, when I print it on my postscript printer.
The problem is that when I save the file as an .eps or .ai file to send to another prepress, the screen in their file always show up as dots not lines. I have not been able to find a way around this, the other fill types use tiling and that does not produce the same consistent shading.

Photoshop :: Open File Dialogue Hangs With Extension Panels
Mar 16, 2012I have PS CS5 64 bit running on a PC, Win 7.
Everything has been working fine but I have recently installed two new extension panels - Fundy Image Brander and Tych Panel. When either of these scripts require you to input a file to open via the Open File dialogue box, everything hangs for 2-3 minutes. The mouse and keyboard do not lock and you can open up other windows which work fine. The open file dialogue just hangs (not just on selecting an individual image but selecting a drive or folder). If you call up the Task Manager and End Photoshop as a task a dialogue box pops up with the message "The system cannot end this program because it is waiting for a response from you."
Photoshop otherwise works well. It's just when the extension panel requires you to input a file to open.

Nov 29, 2011Inventor Pro 2012.I am opening some SolidWorks 2011 SLDPRT files to make them into Inventor part files.The models come in fine. When I try to produce a IDW I can Dimension all the geometry but can not call out and holes/threads. I am using Win 7 64 bit, all the latest service packs for Inventor and Windows.
I have include a snipe screen of the Open file dialogue box and the selected options.
