Mar 25, 2011When I Zoom in my drawing on a specific area and press F3 to come to the previous zoom level it doesn't happen. inspite of this drawing will zoom out with another sequence.

Photoshop :: Why Is CS6 Zoom Change Window Size Is Different Than Previous Versions
Sep 23, 2012Why in CS6 when zoom changes window size and a floating window fits in Photoshop window or on other display screen do I get scroll bars where a select all selection marching ants are not visible on all four sides till I drag out the window to get rid of the scroll bars so I can see all of marching ants.
In previous versions of Photoshop space for scroll bars is present but there are no scroll bar, select all marching ants are visible on all four sides when an image's window fits in Photoshop window or on second display. Is there a way to make CS6 work like previous versions? Also if I just open a document and Photoshop fits it to Photoshop window or second display the floating window is correct without scroll bars.

Feb 9, 2013I used to use the 'back' button all the time in my old windows version of PSE organiser. I have now bought PSE 11 for my new macbook and finding that all the reasons I wanted to use PSE organiser rather than iPhoto are fast evaporating with this version. One of them is the 'back' button. If I scroll down down down a long way and find a particular photo and then deliberately or even accidentally, change the view to see data (that incidentally I used to be able to see in the same view on the info side pane such as folder location ....) then I lose my place in the media display and cant get back there like I used to. and have to hunt for the photo again. Similarly when I select a tag to display the selection containing that tag and then want to return to the previous main media display I return to the top, rather than wherever I had progressed to. This didn't happen in my old windows version. I cant understand why the developers would think it was a great idea to remove this facility, but I cant find it. It was invaluable when I was going back through the catalogue to old photos and adding tags or other info.

Mar 1, 2012I have a user in my group that is hesitant to upgrade to 2012 because , he has many lisp routines that are associated with the PREVIOUS selection feature. This selection is very useful in that when you are moving or selecting many objects you can enter P for previous and the object will be selected.
In 2009, when you select objects then hit escape, then try to execute a command requesting to use the Previous, AutoCAD will remember the last selected object and then highlight it.
In 2012, when you select objects then hit escape, then try to execute a command using P for previous, it will not highlight the previous object selected but will highlight the previous object where a command was executed on.
Hope I haven't lost you. It seems there should be a setting under SELECTION of how to manipulate the Previous selection feature.
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Multiple View Frames Creation With Preset Station Ranges And Overlap
Mar 1, 2012The creation of viewframes with automatic station range at scale 1/2000 produces viewframes and sheets with ranges 0+000 - 0+738 then 0+738 - 1+456 and so on.
It is possible to creat onyl 1 viewframe with user specified station range i;e; 0+000 - 0+700. For a long alignment it involves to repeat the operation all along the alignment by ranges of 700 m. Or use the automatic range option and then make boring adjustments on viewframes and long profiles of the sheets to fit to the 700 m successive ranges we would like to draw.
Is there a possibility to produce directly multiple viewframes with a user specified station range of, say, 700 m on the entire alignment. If this is possible it would be great.
More great: would it be possible to set an overlap of 50 m for example between successive viewframes (sheets)ranges so that we have ranges 0+000 - 0+700 then 0+650 - 1+350 then 1+300 -2+000 and so forth.

Jan 1, 2013I just installed 13.0.3 upgrade for 64 bit and now when I resize an image to, say 800 x 600 pixels, the resulting image is very small. To get the image to display in the window at the same size (100%) as before the upgrade I have to zoom to 200 - 300%, and get the associated pixelation. Nothing else on the computer has changed (i.e., display preferences) to my knowledge. I am using a rMBP running OS X 10.8.2. what 100% zoom looks like now, which is about 1/3 the size an image like this used to be prior to the upgrade.

Jan 22, 2012I've taken a shot of a building. I'm setting up a scene that has a realistic camera lens distance and focal length taken from measurements at the architectural location. I'm creating a mesh to go over that image and it has to line up with the photo perfectly.
There are small details on the building that I need to extrude but even in full frame view on my 30" monitor I can't get close enough. If I change to a perspective or front view to work zoomed in the mesh is off when I go back to my camera view as the perspective distortion, small as it is, is different than a front or perspective view.
Is there a away to zoom in on a section of a camera view so that I can keep working on my mesh using the camera's perspective and view distortion?

AutoCad :: Cannot Zoom A View In New Layout
Apr 14, 2011I have just switched from Pc to Mac with AC. Not sure if its the platform change, or the later version, but I am having problems doing things I used to have no problems doing!
I have duplicated a layout, but when I click on the inside of it it wont make it active and allow me to zoom the view.
If I create a new layout, I can click inside and zoom, however, in this instance, its quick for me to duplicate and re-zoom, if only I could I have tried the MV > L > off command, but that is wanting me to select an object, and not unlock the whole layout. Same thing if I hit the lock or freeze button on the right hand tool panel.

Mar 11, 2012Just recently I got a chance to try out Autocad 2012. I modeled up an assembly. I then wblocked my individual details into separate files for detailing. I used the new drawing view tool to create my isometric views. The issue I am having is the outer most edges of my views is not being shown all the time. If I zoom in the edges appear, but when you zoom out to view the entire drawing, the edges are no longer visible. It is like the border around the view that the drawing view tool creates is not offset far enough. How to use the new drawing view tool?

AutoCad :: Crosshair Disappear In Isometric View When Zoom In
Sep 21, 2010when i started using 2011. I have 2 viewports active; plan and isometric view. But when I try to navigate in the isometric view, the crosshair behaves in a way I don't understand. What happens is that when I zoom in the crosshair disappears over or under what I'm zooming in on.
It's hard to describe, but it seems that it have a different origo then the view represents. When I zoom out so much that the crosshairs are visible and I try to move them upwards, they stop in the middle of the screen and then the marker becomes visible in the ribbon part of the screen.
I have tried detaching all xref's, purged and audit, checked the elevation (0). This only happens in some drawings, not all, and I can't think of a common denominator in the drawings it happens.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Perspective And Orthogonal View - Not Able To Zoom In
Jul 25, 2013After setting up a scene with a JBL lighting environment, I changed from orthogonal to perspective view for rendering.
Funnily I was not able to zoom in with perspective view activated. Zooming slows down and finally comes completely to halt. Switching back to orthogonal the camera jumps right into the object. Changing back I see everithing from a distance.
Is this normal or is this an error. I can´t remember if this happened before.

Mar 9, 2011I've created a PDF preset which gives the result I want. Now I want everyone who is doing work for me, using Corel, to have the same settings.
Is there a way to export the preset or is that info stored in a file somewhere so that they can use it too (without me having to tell them all the steps and save it, etc.

using the mouse wheel: when i zoom in (very closely) to some location near the image edges/corners and then zoom out /once/ (i.e. one mouse wheel "click"), the image zooms out and simultaneously the viewed region jumps a little towards the image center. this is kind of annoying since one has to move the image to see the desired location after zooming out a little.
Lightroom :: Zoom / Loupe View Much Slower To Render Than Capture One?
Feb 21, 2014I've been tethering to Capture One with a Phase Back then having Lightroom Autoimport the files which works well. The biggest problem I have is that when I want to check focus as I go along and I zoom in on the files in loupe view Lightroom is really slow at rendering up the image. It seems to get slower as the catalogue fills up until it just wont do it. Then if I quit Lightroom and restart its better for a while then slows down again.
Both applications are running on the same Macbook Pro with The latest OSX.
However looking through the files in Capture One they zoom up in size with hardly any delay. I understand that Lightroom has to render a larger preview which is taking the time but surely Capture One has to do this too but doesn't seem to need to take anywhere near as much time to do it. In the case of Capture One it seems to be able to zoom into files that it hasn't previously loaded so there must not be a pre existing preview there.
Lightroom :: 5.3 - Can't Double Click Zoom In Loupe View Anymore
Apr 5, 2014I used to be able to double click on an image in Loupe view in Library mode and I would zoom into that image. I think that stopped when I got to LR5, I'm in 5.3 now. Now when I double click in Loupe view, I'm back out to grid view. Drop down menu suggests I just need to hit return, same thing happens. This happens at all zoom levels fit, fill, 1:1, etc. I'm running OSX 10.9.2. Sounds like a setting issue, but I've looked.

Mar 20, 2012I've been using Corel Draw! 8 for years and my favorite tool was the angle of rotation. For example, I would select an object, usually a rectangle that has the point of rotation at end of the narrow rectangle. As I rotated it, I could see how much the angle of rotation in degrees is. Therefore I could type a value in the box and the rectangle would rotate some many degrees. Fast forward to my Corel Draw 12. Now when I click on the same object, the box will display what the angle is in degrees already based on the circular angle startingaat the nine o'clock position. I need it to say ZERO and I can't find the setting to set it at zero
what I am drawing is I rotate a narrow rectange and basically creating a dial face for instruments.
AutoCAD LT :: Cannot Save Previous Files To Upgraded Version From Previous Student Version
May 13, 2013I cannot save my previous files created on a student version to an upgraded 2014 version. I tried changing the save as path in the options menu, but no luck. I am able to open the file in the upgraded version but it states that it will open as a student version. Also I cannot copy and paste anything from the student version to the upgraded one. Not sure why.

Feb 4, 2013I export many web graphics at the same size so with x6. I thought I would love the presets with x6 however when I set the preset to export like at 700px width it changes and re-sizes the exported graphic to 350px width. It show 700px on the screen when I load the preset however right when I click export or if I place me cursor in the transformation box it changes. I even tried to change it too 1400px hoping it would then change it to 700px but it still changes it to 350px.

May 29, 2013I have used Autocad since 1991, and my current job required me to use Microstation. One feature I liked from Microstation is the ability to select and open an external DGN reference, and then match the view of the parent DGN, called the "EXCHANGE" command. In AutoCAD, you can also select and open an xref, but the DWG opens to the previous saved view, and not to the desired view that matches the layout.
My thought was to experiment with lisp or script and export the "Viewctr", "Viewtwist" and "Viewsize" variables to a text file, then importing the text file and using the "Viewtwist" as my "SNAPANG" value, then "Viewctr" as my "ZOOM, CENTER" value, and finally the "Viewsize" as the "Enter magnification or height:" value.
But, alas, I have no time, and not quite the knowledge to duplicate MicroStation's open-xref-and-zoom-to-view feature. I hesitate using the REFEDIT, which works fine for regular AutoCAD, but not so much for Civil 3D and the objects it creates (labels and other items with data shortcuts).
