Oct 27, 2013Is there is a way I can create a years wall planner in Corel? I have run the calendar wizard macro in Corel but this is only giving me calendar options. What I want is a year on one page.

Photoshop :: Greyed Out 100 Year Old Photo
Dec 23, 2008What I have is a photo of my grandparents, a century old, it is very dear to my family as it is the only photo of their wedding and we just recently discovered it.

The goal is outlined in the above link but to recap:
1. Remove greyish / silver color
2. Adjust black color (for example: so that groom's hair shows up as something other than a chunk of dark color).
3. Fix Blemishes.
Photoshop :: Batch Change Year Photos Were Taken
Apr 6, 2013I took a week worth of vacation photos before realizing the wrong year was set in my digital camera.
When I open the files in Photoshop, and go to "File > File info" the year is wrong on
Description tab: Created field
Audio Date tab: Created Date field
Origin tab: Date Created field
IPTC tab: Date Created field
I did File > File Info > changed the year.
When I do the steps one at a time, the year fields are changed properly.
I recorded an ACTION that run the same commands.
But when I run the action, the year fields remain unaltered.
Whats going on?

There is data for each year that will be plotted on the line, however I would only like to display every other year (1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, etc.). Is there a way to show every other year on the horizontal axis.

Jan 25, 2012My computer crashed with lightroom open and when i opened it up the catalog had reverted to a year or so ago's pictures, so i looked at the catalog file sure enough there was a corrupted catalog file, so i deleted the locked one, like you're supposed to do, but the catalog still has the wrong pictures. I can do it the hard way and just re-import all the pictures, but i'd like to have the ones i had with my edits on them and not have to go through them all again.

Feb 7, 2014I like to organize my photos by date. When I import my photos through lightroom 5, I specify in the metadata to organize by date, (in which it is listed correctly) and choose the destination folder. However, once I perform the import, it creates a completely separate folder under the year "2012". How can I fix this problem to import under the correct file dates?

Sep 28, 2012So, I am trying to add a copyright year to a title block in a drawing template file used through out my company. I want to base the year off of the creation date property - I am trying to find a way to truncate this property such that only the year is displayed. Ideally, any time the creation date property is changed, the copyright year will also update.
We are currently running Inventor 2010.Normally, I would just write an iLogic rule with an event trigger, but this would require everyone to install the iLogic addin which just won't happen.
Even easier, I could make a custom iProperty and just have people manually type in the year when they start a new drawing - this will be worst case scenario as a ton of people will forget and I'll just make more work for myself.I also have VBA code which is pretty simple:

Aug 30, 2012I drew a stone wall with the free hand tool and used a 1.0 line width, but since the ends of the lines are square I have jagged edges in places. I tried using the eraser but as soon as I let go of the mouse button what I erased pops back. I was thinking about converting to a bit map and smooth it out that way, but I need it as a vector file. So after I convert it and clean it up can I convert it back?

Apr 12, 2012Any way to get a wall sweep that's set up in the type/structure properties to follow a wall if that walls profile has changed. For example, in the image below, I've split the wall and adjusted it's profile to create some cheesy angled parapet. How do i get my wall cap to follow along? I thought splitting it and changing it's height would work, but no. And if I change the profile without splitting the wall the wall cap just runs right through the wall, as if the profiel was never even changed.

Jul 25, 2013I have to draw a bulkhead wall that connects to a full height wall and a gyp bd ceiling. This causes the entire end of the full height wall to skew in line with the butt joint above the ceiling level. I tried Wall Joins but all the options screw up the bottom half of the wall which needs to remain in line with the paired opposite. I also tried editing the sketch of the wall profile but Revit couldn't keep the elements joined. I tried trimming the two walls back together afterwards but the wall profile dominates and prevents a clean join above the ceiling.
Surely there's a way to have different kinds of joins at different heights?

Jul 23, 2012I am using the RetainWallVertical subassembly with a created gutter subassembly attached to the wall and a DaylightGeneral subassembly attached to the gutter assembly. My cut slope parameter is set to hold at 1.5:1. I would like to use a target (feature line or alignment) to daylight to and have the wall height adjust accordingly. Problem, I am not able to use a target other than a surface for daylighting. I can use my existing ground surface, which I am daylighting too, but I can't adjust the target point.

Dec 7, 2011I'm attempting to create a wall style that has 2 components, a framed wall and a brick veneer. What I would like to do is have this wall react a certain way when I insert a window. Basically, I don't want the window to cut into the brick veneer, only the framing.

When I change the wall type to one with a different thickness, I cannot control which face of the wall remains fixed and which face moves. eg: change from 130mm to 250mm screws up my room width. How do I do this?
Revit :: Arched Hole In Wall And Wall Height
Apr 16, 2013I am trying to make a floorplan of my house in Revit 2013, but I am having an issue when it comes to one wall in my house. I have an opening in the Master Bedroom that leads to the bathroom. This wall has a weird arched-like opening in it and I have no clue how to make this in Revit. I have attached a sketch.
Also, my exterior walls are 7' tall but the interior walls start at 7' and go up to 8' once in the middle of the house and reduce back to 7". How does one set that up in Revit?
EDIT: May have made the image too small to see, but the top is not arched, it is actually half of a decagon.
Revit :: Adding Wall Sweeps To Wall Profile?
Jul 29, 2011I have a question about wall profiles. I want to make a profile on a wall so I can make Zinc Panels on the wall that are 10" X 20". I've attached a picture of what I'm going for. I'd like it to have a 1/2" spacing between them and with a joint depth of 1" and I'd like to do this is the wall type so that I can use this wall in multiple places rather than having it model-in-place. Anyway I have made a profile that is 1" X 10" so that it can become my panel profile. But when I go to add it to the wall as a wall sweep as I have seen people do I get hung up on how to make it tile up the wall and also I don't understand how to make the profile so that it is 20" wide. When converting a wall to a curtain wall I select wall in the design pallette right click apply to wall select the wall and it changes to a curtain wall. When I try converting a curtain wall to a wall I right click on curtain wall select apply properties to wall then go to select the curtain wall but I cannot select the curtain wall as a wall?
I simply want to convert an existing curtain wall to another wall type how is that done/

This would be very tedious to do manually. My next idea is to re-import them with MOVE option, but I would lose all the editing. Is there any way to re-import these while preserving the edit steps?
