I have a document with multiple pages. How can I change the background of only one page? In the layout settings I only can set the background for all pages.
View 10 RepliesI quite often need a separate ruler scale on each page of a multi-page document. The only way I know how to do this is to create a separate document for each drawing that requires a new scale.
I request that you add the ability to change the ruler scale on a per page basis within a single multi-page document.
I am using CDR X5 SP1.
I am making a logo design to be printed on a t-shirt. When I make the logo I am making it on an 11” x 8.5” paper size. The logo is not rectangular. When I save the logo as a pdf file, the page background is showing. I also convert the pdf file to a jpg file and the white background shows. I went in and changed the page background to No Background, It did not work. I went to Options>Page size and turned off the Show Page Border, it did not work.

I am trying to go to File > Document Setup and all I get is a new dialog box that completely leaves out page orientation and page size as well. I just want to have an artboard that is 11" x 8 1/2" but there is nothing I see in menus or in palettes that give the old comfortable page orientation change that you used to be able to do in older versions of Illustrator. How do I set page or artboard size and orientation?
I have a multi page document that has twice the size I originally I thought it would so have decided to split it. What is the best way to do this?
I can only think of copy and paste each individual page into a new doc but if there is another way to chose multi pages by the tabs at the bottom.

The original page has a white background and thought I'd make it transparent (PNG) with the Magic Eraser. The Magic Eraser, however, ends up affecting even the text on the page making it unreadable and not the internal parts of the letters O, P, A, etc. are not reached by road and remain white. In short, the effect of the rubber is bad ... Is there a way in photoshop to remove the white background of the page making it transparent, without ruining the text?

I've opened a new doc, gone to tools>options>document, set the solid background I want, then check save options as defaults for new documents. But when I then open a new document, the background setting is back to "no background".
View 8 Replies View Relatedrecently installed X5. More often than not - when I open Corel X5 everything has a yellow tint. Doesnt happen all the time. Checkout the image below. X5 over top of an X4 window. Everything on and inc desktop is affected inc pallet which is supposed to be CMYK. White now = beige . When I first opened X5 it came up with some issue about the monitor profile. Weird thing is I will open it 10 mins later and it will behave normal - all back to looking like X4.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter moving a page in my document the master page elements no longer display on screen or in print. If I move the page to a different location in the document the master displays but if it is in the specific position that it needs to be it will not display. The document has multiple Masters and others do work on the page but the one that I need will not. I've tried deleting the page and adding a new one and that does not fix the problem. I've checked and "Hide Master Items" is not checked. The page in question is in position 48 with F-Master applied. If I move it to position 49 it works, 50, it works, 51, or any other it works. If I apply a different master to the page, it works. If I delete the page, add a new page and apply F-Master it still does not work. The only page that this problem is happening on is page 48.

I want to create a background that is not a bitmap but is still vector and that I can edit, that will automatically come up with each new page. And the kicker is that if I change one thing to the background, it will auto populate the change to the rest of the document.
The background consists of a title, a company logo, some solid fill text and pic areas. So for instance if I wanted to change the background color from green to blue I don't want to have to go to each page and change it individually.
when i open a new document and create a a custom document, CorelDraw automatich chage the format. When i create a document with 21x29,7cm (A4) Corel Make a document of 210x297cm. at the beginning of using Corel i have no problemen with it.

It is a light yellow or cream & is very hard on my eyes Windows update downloaded an update for my monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 2233) & printer. When I opened Corel 5, I was asked what colour management I wanted, I did not know. I believe I selected "monitor based" or something like that, the way the question was, made me believe I was choosing the same setting as before. Obiviously wrong. Using Corel draw 5 help I selected "page background" picked solid: choose white but did not change. I then choose "no background" but did not change.
I have restarted corel 5 to no avail.
I've been using an older version of Corel Draw and Photopaint for years on end (Version 10 on win XP). A recent hard drive crash has moved me to the latest version of CDR/PP (X6)in Windows 7/64.
I'm amazed to see that Photo Paint hasn't changed dramatically over the last decade - most of the tools and options are where I am used to finding them. However, one function of the latest build of PP.
I do a fair amount of video editing and I use PP to create .tga files with transparency for the timelines. In version 10 of PP, I would create an object, say a red arrow for example, >mask create from object>image / paper size / background color to red> save as .tga. The background color would appear as red and would become transparent when I changed the image properties in the video timeline to "straight unmatted." Having control of the background color is important for good transparencies in video as any fringes will blend with the objects. The issue i'm having with X6 is that no matter what I do, the background color saves as white, which causes a halo when transparency is applied in the video timeline. How to change the background color when saving a .tga?
I can change page backgrounds to a darker color. the background of the whole workspace is really bright white, is there any way I can change the entire background to a darker color like neutral gray...like the Photoshop background workspace?
