I am currently preparing a brochure and need to have one page (of six) in DIN A3 instead of A4 like the others. But I find no possibility to change just the page I need into A3.

I quite often need a separate ruler scale on each page of a multi-page document. The only way I know how to do this is to create a separate document for each drawing that requires a new scale.
I request that you add the ability to change the ruler scale on a per page basis within a single multi-page document.
I am using CDR X5 SP1.
I just upgraded to x5 and can no longer export a file as an eps and hold the custom page size. In x4 I could export as an eps to a custom page size of 2.5" by 2.5". Every time I try to upload the file it is seeing it as an 8.5' by 11". I am selecting page size in advanced tab

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy current photo editing software (Microsoft PhotoDRaw) has the ability to do this and wondering if I can achieve the same in CorelDraw X5 or PhotoPaint Pro X3. I just reinstalled both and need to start using them since PhotoDraw only work up till Windows XP and I use Virtual Machine to run it.
Here you go. If say I open a new project to any page size of my choice and import any image (any size) into the page. Is there a way I can automatically fit the page to the image size in either CorelDraw X5or PhotoPaint X3? That is, if my default page size is letter (8.5"x11") and I import an image that is 2.2"x5", can I automatically fit the default page to the fit the image at 2.2"x5"? Really very handy too. Can I also do the reverse image to paper size? If I can do either, where do I go?
I am using Corel draw x6 to build a new website for my company. I have tried everything I can find but after exporting to html The resulting web page does not fill the different size screens in the office.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am making a logo design to be printed on a t-shirt. When I make the logo I am making it on an 11” x 8.5” paper size. The logo is not rectangular. When I save the logo as a pdf file, the page background is showing. I also convert the pdf file to a jpg file and the white background shows. I went in and changed the page background to No Background, It did not work. I went to Options>Page size and turned off the Show Page Border, it did not work.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy CorelMacros.CreateColorSwatch macro has stopped dumping the swatches into whatever blank Letter-sized document I have open (which is how it used to work) and instead it is creating a new document, at 4.25" wide x 7" high, and dumping the swatches into that. Using Pantone Solid Coated, but it's doing this regardless of what palette I choose.
There is no option in the Macro's dialog box to alter or even instantiate a page size, and I cannot find in the code of the macro where to set this variable.
I not remember where is that!

I am making a booklet up. I have set the workspace paper size to A5 landscape. And set to booklet and facing pages, great, that is a whole lot of hassle dealt with.
But,
I make up my design, looks good on the screen. Export to pdf and print it off and it is printing one page of my work on a single page of A4 paper full size. i.e. I need it printed onto A4 paper in landscape so that I have a left page and a right page, that I can fold in half. But it is just printing like normal.
What do I have to do to get it two print two pages of information onto a single A4 landscape rotated piece of paper?
Recently upgraded from X3 to X6. Just discovered there is no place on the property bar to change the size by entering a percent of original size. It was located next to the actual size in inches.
I did Ctrl-J and tried to find it in the customization, but came up empty. Surely this feature still exists?
How can I change the default text size? I can set the size to 12 pt in three different places and choose "save settings as default", and when I place the text cursor on the page, it goes back to 24 pt. Very maddening...

Final Size 8.5" x 11"
Bleed Size 1/16"
Resolution to Submit 8.627" x 11.127", 2588 x 3338 px, 300dpi
My page is letter size.The image is a bitmap composed of numerous photographs and vector graphics.
I have saved them to a CMYK BITMAP 300DPI.In Corel the image reads as 11.125" x 8.625"
When I export to a pdf or jpg the image size changes to 11.293" x 8.796" which will not work for the printer. It sets the design elements outside the 'safe zone'.
this function is not functioning anymore. I may have done something to cause this but I don't recall.
Entering sizes in the text boxes does not change the object size anymore.
The only option right now is use the transform size docker...would rather not have to do that.
Also, would not like to hit F8...

in coreldraw usually on small files having 7 to 8 pages i move pages by dragging its tab on the desired location. but how do i handle large files for eg moving page 49 before 15? the tabs list gets pretty long.

I have just had to install Windows 7 64 bit and now find that when I print to my HP Business Inkjet 2300, I can only print 1 page. If I set the quantity to 5, I still get just 1 page. HP won't be updating the driver as they say that the printer is obsolete although they are still selling it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI would like to export a page I am creating as a jpg. Right now, I have one object on the page, and its a .jpg object. When I export from the File menu, only the jpg is exported. How can I export the entire page? If I add text to the object (which will be a banner). it only exports the jpg, and and the exact space required by the text, not the entire page. I have been unable to find setting for exporting selected objects or entire page. I have another less powerful drawing program that gives options to export object, selection, or page.
If I create a box, and place it on the document, the whole thing will export, but if the pox is larger than the page, then entire box is still exported, where I only want the page dimensions exported so I can eventually arrange objects ont he box that will overlap the page dimesnsions, but only the page area should be exported as a jpg.
Should I be doing this as a powerclip? I haven't used that feature yet in CD. Then export the powerclip object?
How come the length of a page name is limited to 31 characters? Any chance this limit can be enlarged in a service pack?

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have been working on this project in corel draw12 for several weeks now, as it is or/was coming to its final stages a few days ago it now only opens a blank page, it is 2.14 gb and it will get bigger as it reaches its final stages.i can still see it in preview. when it was opening it took a very long time to open i realise the reason for this is the size im using very high resolution images and designing and editing, or maybe there is another program that you may recommend that will support the size so i can complete my work.
i found a backup copy but it will not import the size is 1.70 gb seems its still too large to open ,
i don't think it has anything to do with memory , i have a full drive laptop is new. my thoughts are that corel draw will not open a file that size, and you are right about breaking it up i should have worked in several sheets but saved them desperately.

Adobe InDesign or pagemaker is useless infront of Corel Draw. But the problem of Footer (page numbering) has to be resolevd. So that Corel Draw will replace InDesign or related book work softwares.

Previously I could choose a large paper size on my printer select fit to page and the document would scale up to printer out on paper large than than the design page. When I try this with X6 the image disappears. Is this a known bug?

And numeracy not appear on new pages.
