VideoStudio :: No Audio After Trim Clip In X4?
Mar 8, 2012I recently upgraded my Corel VideoStudio X2 to Corel VideoStudio x4 Pro. After removing the old program and installing the updated version,I then restarted my computer and attempted to use it to edit a video. I placed the youtube video that I'd converted to AVI format into the timeline on the program. I then proceeded to attempt to trim <cut> the video at the first place that needed to be fixed and also at the end of the area to be repaired. After fixing it,I then reset the video to the beginning and watched for the expected changes. Much to my surprise,there was audio all way to the first cut spot on the video and absolutely nothing for the entire rest of the video;even in the cut or changed area. I was naturally puzzled as I never had this issue with the previous version. I then checked all my system audio controls and those of the program to make sure that nothing had changed or been accidently muted;including all audio settings were at proper levels,and everything was on and working as should be. I then checked the device manager to see if I found any yellow "?" marks on it for some strange reason to insure that all drivers were installed correctly;and found nothing amiss there. I then went to youtube and played a video and then a music CD in my computer to insure that my audio system was still functioning correctly and,as expected,they both worked fine and gave me audio output. Puzzled,I closed out the VideoStudio and all programs and re-started my computer. I then re-opened VideoStudio and tried again. I placed the same video on the timeline and played it without any changes. It played perfectly fine and I had audio thru-out the entire video. I then re-tried to adjust the video by clipping it and once again...no sound for the rest of the video. I re-checked all drivers and audio connections without finding anything amiss. I even tried other videos that I'd converted to AVI format in the program timeline,that I still had on computer with the same exact results after picking a spot and clipping them as before.....no audio. I even tried clipping the video in different spots;both by clicking on the scissors and with the editing options located in the program interface with the exact same results...no audio after the cut. I searched thru the program interface. I enjoyed the previous version immensly so was looking forward to using the updated version;but can't unless I can get this problem reesolved. Worse case,I can go back to the old version that worked fine for me but I hope not to.

Lightroom :: Video Clip Did Not Trim Length In 4.4?
Aug 5, 2013Using LR4.4 on Windows7 64-bit Pro, and I am new to video. I shot a 1 minute segment and used the tools in Lightroom to trim that to about 16 seconds. I made no other changes in QuickDevelop. Then I exported to a location on my hard drive, specifying "Original" in the format choice.
The file that emerged was the full 1 minute length when inserted in ProShow Gold and ran the full clip as shot.
I have looked over the video tools documentation and it seems to confirm that length is a parameter of export. Why the file that exported retained the original length?

Nov 22, 20121. I put a clip in a timeline , then i put a cfx clip on top of the first clip. Add axis clip to cfx clip, set transparancy to 100% (fully transparent) , when hit render , this cfx is still calculated.
2. if i have stack of cfx clips, the clips are solid (no matte or transparancy ). one clip is on top of the other. In the top layer , i add a axis fx and cut a very small hole. We can see even a very small hole ( that will exposed small part of the bg ) will trigger smoke to render both of the clip full frame. Actually i only will see small part of the BG so i'm expecting smoke to render only that visible pixel. How to control this ? In some case i will waste my time waiting smoke to render part that i don't need.

AutoCAD 2013 :: Can't Trim Circle TTR
Apr 13, 2013I drew 2 circles with ttr command (1 and 2). The problem is when I try to trim them to remove the part I don't need, it doesn't work cause the circles 1 and 2 aren't stick with the borders as they should. At the 4 red circle points, if you zoom you'll notice they don't stick the border, never faced this problem before (usually I cut the part I don't need without problem). I've done regen/all but doesn't seem to fix that problem.

Apr 2, 2013I am having trouble with a part that I am working on. Trying to trim to the tangent edge. I cant post the part that I am actually using, but here is an example of a similar problem. In the attached file, open the "Negative Part.ipt". The sketch 2 contains a line (unconstrained). I need this line to be tangent with the curve below it.
I can project the edge of the curve to my sketch plane, but not the tangent of the radius.
