AutoCad :: Dimension Objects Shown In Inches
Dec 2, 2011When I quick dimension my objects it is shown in inches, I want it shown in feet according to scale, 1/8"=1',1/4"=1' etc.

AutoCad :: Dimension In Feet And Inches
Jun 6, 2011When I try and dimesion my drawing it brings up 8' as 8" on the dimesion line, and when I dimension something like 1'-10" it brings up 1'-10''' on the dimesion line. Once i click the dimesnion to attach it to the drawing I click on the measurement tool and it bring up the correct measurement. Is there a way to fix this?

Instead of it reading 5’-6 9/16” it would read 5.546875’?
I tried a few different things on the dimension style and I can get it to read out in decimal inches (it would be 66.5625” with the example givin) but not feet.
The reason I need it is for a program that we run where we must enter the measurement in decimal feet

Apr 25, 2013Everything I draw is metric. I've got my templates set up and all my paper space scaled appropriately. All dimensions are as they should be. The annoying thing is when I'm drawing a dimension, the tooltip shows inches and not mm. How to change?

Jan 11, 2013How do I make the dimension shown black instead of pink? I had to suppress the fillet from the drawing in order to grab the edge to get the true dimension then when i unsuppressed the fillet the dimensions turned pink. I also used a section view but that did not fix my problem either.

AutoCAD 2013 :: 3D Objects Not Shown Where Their Snap Points Are
Oct 25, 2013This problem has just started to occur and frankly, I'm totally stuck. When I created 3d objects to represents conduits runs in a building, they worked fine. However, when I saved and reopened my file, the objects are shown in different locations, yet their snap points (endpoints, midpoints, arcs, etc) are shown in the correct location. I have attached an image showing what I mean to clarify. I am using Autocad 2014 and Civil 3D 2014.

Mar 20, 2013Out of nowhere my AutoCAD commands such as line, offset, circle, etc will only work if i type in the amount in inches. I use feet / inches when i use these commands. It says specify second point... Not sure what this means. For example I want to offset a line 15'-8". It won't let me do that. If i offset a line at 146" it lets me do it.
