When I was open an autocad file most of the time Im getting a warning box "contains macro", is it possible to disable this warning? and im not using any macro here then why this message is coming?
View 3 RepliesHow do we get rid of the warning message that pops up telling us that VBA is no longer installed. Since most us now are running 64 bit machines and have changed to .net programming. We do still use many Autolisp routines that work fine but give us that warning message anyway.

However, the process stops if a drawing has AEC object references, because the warning dialog opens (and the program does not deal with it). For example if I move something to a layer that is 'off' I get a notice that I am moving to a layer that is off and I then have to drag my mouse up and click 'ok'. I have been drafting for over 20 years and I know this and do not need or want this dialog Also, in the layer manager same issue, 95% of the time when I turn the active layer off I WANT to turn it off I do NOT need to waste my time telling the program, yes I want to turn it off or no I do not.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having a very strange issue with Photoshop CS6 - OSX 10.7 and 10.8 (recently upgraded).I havent been able to figure out how to reproduce this bug though it happens all the time every day while i work.
I work on a file maybe for 10 minutes to 1 hour and when I save a file with command s photoshop does nothing. it will not save until i make any change that registers in the history and then it does save.
Even weirder photohop will close the file as though it had been saved giving no warning box with the "file has been changed, would you like to save?" message.
This has lead to me constantly saving things and double checking if files are saved, it has also lead to me missing a file from time to time and having to redo hour of work. The issue started happening when I recently reformatted and reinstalled all my software.
Is there a system variable that disable the "Rename and Renumber Sheet" dialogue box from appearing when double clicking on layout tab of current drawing which is part of sheet set?
I used to be able to just double click on a layout tab and change it. This dialogue box can't seem to edit it if the drawing is open. We use the layout the tab as current revision of drawing.
I know I accidentally click on yes before when it asked me if I want to use the dialogue box to edit layout tabs but can't seem to find anything on how to disable it.

I have a program (C#.NET) that opens files in a batch by using the DocumentManager.Open() method.
The first problem is , if one of the files has a macro, the vba dialogbox appears which interrupts the progress. How can I disable the macro and block the dialogbox?
Another problem is, it will take a very long time to open a file by the CAD application after processing 10 or 20 files later. I have closed the file and disposed the document object by using the Dispose() method after opening. The application looks like crashing and the memory used by CAD is up to 200~300M which is only 50~80M when the first sevral files was processed.

I have been using the addin "Save Run Macro" to automatically run a macro every time the "Save" button is pressed.
Any of the following questions about "Save Run Macro"?
1] When I protect the macro from viewing (so I can protect my code) "Save Run Macro" does not see the macro.
2] When I save the part for the first time (ipt, iam or idw/dwg) the macro does not run. I always need to run the macro again.
I have a few viewport on a drawing and when I hit Print I get the following warning:
" some viewports do not fit the right zoom conditions. Do you want to update them before plotting"
It then proceeds to print correct.
What is the reason for this error message and how do I get rid of it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a mass print script and I have it save then close the drawing after it's done printing each one. The problem is the script updates the mass properties and some times drawings just update when opened. So when it saves different "warnings" can pop up, which pause the script until the pop up is taken care of. The warnings are typically for saving other files like the ipt linked to a drawing or if the drawing was saved in an old version. Is there a way to just accept those while running a script so it does puase?
How I save and then close the drawing.

It appears at startup. I recently installed software (Simtra PathPlanner) that works with AutoCAD that may have caused this.
Using AutoCAD 2012 on Windows 7 64-bit.
During an import event I get a warning message saying the Angle is out of Range. The .fbk text below is where the import is getting hung up, the red text is the specific line.

View 5 Replies View RelatedGetting a lot of message pop ups about not accessible dst file. In conjunction with this is constant slow down if the sheetset is open with the blue cursor wheel constantly thinking. If the sheet set is closed, this immediately fixes this.
Ruled out network problems as 2012 works fine. I believe this to be isloated to 2013.
I've been having a problem with my AutoCAD LT 2010 completely deleting files after I have saved them and closed them. There is no file in the recovery manager, no back up file, nothing. It has happened three times without warning and it always happens to files I've been working on for awhile and have opened and closed multiple times. This happens every time AutoCAD is closed. However it is isolated to a few systems all of which were installed using the same deployment as the other systems that do not display this warning. I kept getting a message in the command line: "WARNING: Xdata tag 100 is missing" like hundred to 1000 times and while its scrolling through this same message in the command line I can not do anything but wait for it to finish. Not sure if a recent windows update has anything to do with it. I am using XP Pro. I have a Dell with 3GB of ram and a Radeon X300/X550/X1050 video card and am running dual monitors. I have an upgrade to Archtiecture 2010 so rather than reinstall 2009 I installed 2010. Unfortunately, same problem. In 2009 I seem to remember that it was more random. In 2010, it pops up when I do an xref reload.

There does not seem to be a real problem because I can open the exported drawing in vanilla AutoCAD OK, (although I do still get a proxy notice..?).
A few other older threads about this reveal no solution or confirmation that this dialog is a bug.

We modeled parts in inches. We save as copy to an .STL file to get SLA prototypes made. The parts came back 2.54 times bigger than needed. Reason is the default setting for saving as .STL files is Centimeters.... Not sure why Autodesk did this....but yes I understand it's not their fault, we should have checked under options and changed it to inches.....we just assumed that you model in inches, it would save as in inches....See what happens when you assume....

When I enter a Run File Name in the "Create Tube & Pipe Run dialog box I get the message "The path is too long. Try a shorter name."
