AutoCad 2D :: Strike Through Text Option In 2013 Version
Sep 25, 2012
I've read about the new option in Text Editor to be able strike through text in Multiline Text, but when I upgraded to 2013 I did not have the option.
Explains what the strike through text style is but not how to add it to my Text Editor ribbon. My understanding is that it should be a button in the Formatting Pallet under the Underline button, mine just shows Background Mask there. When I expand the formatting pallet I don't show a strikethrough option there either.
I have the 2013 AutoCAD Student Version and I want to transfer my file to the AutoCAD 30-Day Proffessional version, Can I do this by easily Copying and Pasting the drawing from version to version?
Is there a way to create strike through text in Mtext [TG 44.890]Â ? If I create it in Word and insert it in the Mtext editor. The line comes in but looks like an over score.
when we can expect a slideshow option for mac PSE? I switched over from PC to MAC in a very laborious process and am annoyed that this feature was missing.
recommend a program that works with PSE to create slideshows that would be similiar to the PSE PC version?
I have a 256x256 image I want to use for my counter strike spray. When I spray the image the background is white, I just want the outline of the Counter Terrorist to show but I just carn’t figure out how to do it.
how to make an image background clear so only the outline shows?
how to create some images similar to this - obviously i don't expect the same level but some cool - even just silhouette and a nice background. Â Picture attached of the intro.
With the new "Display but not plot" option for Wipeout, I notice that the frame shows when I pass over it and is selectable. Â Can the frame be off and not selectable/visible, which is how it worked for me previously?
The above image is the closest description of what I mean by a "chord" setting. Â I need to be able to place lines with a specific length and orientation at a certian radius from two nonparallell curved lines. I've been finding it extremely difficult.
The blue lines are the property lines and the circles are the setbacks (hypothetically). To simplify the problem I offset the blue lines by the setback like so. which brigs me to the original problem. I need to place the building at the optimal point. So far, I have only been able to  get close and I know/think there should be a better method to solve my problem. In the example I provided, I knew exactly where the building should be placed because the offsets were the last thing I drew.  How can I get this result if my drawing is composed of fully drawn but nonaligned components?
I've recently upgraded to AutoCADlt 2014 and I've run into an issue with bringing in CTB, PC3, and PMP files from my previous version (2010). Â It's giving me a error message "unrecognized version and cannot be read".
I changed the configuration in Tools/Options/Open and Save/File Save, to save as Autocad2004/LT2004 Drawing (*.dwg). But sometimes automatically the program saves as Autocad2013. It is critical for me because I work with people that still use Autocad2004.
using AutoCAD '10. I have a free trial of 2013 to preview before buying and I'm doing some freelance work with an opportunity to be hired full time. The comany I am working for has a pen set that they sent to me in an e-mail. In order to send PDF's of my work back I must use this pen set. The pen files are from an earlier version of AutoCAD- 2007 and are attachments in an e-mail.                                                         Â
I am looking for a way to verify what version an AutoCAD file is without opening the file. I have a customer that requests the files to be in an older version of AutoCAD and for QA purposes I would like to verify that the files we are sending out are in the correct version.
error messages that say I can't use various functions because the file has objects from a newer version. I have ACA 2012 and the file is from ACA 2013.
Isn't there a way to convert or eliminate these 'objects' so I can use these files 'normally' in 2012 ACA?
I have problems with saving my drawing using the save option. I click save but when i close the drawing and reopen it i realise it didnt save at all. I actually have to 'save as' to get it saved.
I have drawings (some with more than one sheet) from inventor 10. Now I like to open it in inventor 2013. The first sheet is showing, but I can't open the other sheets. I can print them, but I can see a listing of it or go to the sheet.
FYI, until December 2012 I worked in Inventor 10, now I have inventor 2013, so everything is new to me.
I've started getting this random errror message today when doing random commands, such as switching from model space to my layouts and vice versa, or the undo command, "unrecognized version and cannot be read" and then it gives me the Ok/Cancel option. I hit OK, then says "is not recognized syntax, select OK to ignore or Cancel to abort" And I hit ok, and the command is carried out, but slowly.
I've looked this error up and it seems to have been around since 2000. It looks like it has something to do with print files and scripts, but we haven't added or changed any in years. Although I have been having printer issues. Yesterday this started and it's still happening - when I press the print button, no matter what printer is set to, it would take 2 minutes to see the dialog box, 2 minutes for just a preview, then 2 minutes or more to start printing. It doesn't sound like a long time, but it adds up! And it's still doing that on CAD alone... printing is quick in other programs.
I have installed the student version of Autocad 2013. Â My professor has asked me to convert my dwg files into 2010 format, as she is unable to open them. Â When I attempted to do so, Autocad informed me that I cannot convert files with the student version. Â Is there anything I can to to fix this? Â Or, can she somehow convert them on her end?
I'm experiencing problems with selecting objects. Usually, when I double clicked multi line text, I could edit it, now I get a text: "select an MTEXT object:", which basically means I have to select it again.
Another example of this is quick selection tool. Usually I selected the objects, then went to quick select pop up screen and under "Apply to:" I selected "Current selection". Now, there's only "Entire drawing" option and if i want current selection, I have to re-select it again.
I checked all the selection options and stuff. I attached some screenshots.
