I've had CS6 installed on my laptop for at least a month now. Just recently, illustrator has been opening with only the bare minimum features: the document that I've opened; the application bar without any tools; and the dropdown menus with limited functions. For instance, I can't even print.
I have a 256x256 image I want to use for my counter strike spray. When I spray the image the background is white, I just want the outline of the Counter Terrorist to show but I just carn’t figure out how to do it.
how to make an image background clear so only the outline shows?
Is there a way to create strike through text in Mtext [TG 44.890]Â ? If I create it in Word and insert it in the Mtext editor. The line comes in but looks like an over score.
how to create some images similar to this - obviously i don't expect the same level but some cool - even just silhouette and a nice background. Â Picture attached of the intro.
I've read about the new option in Text Editor to be able strike through text in Multiline Text, but when I upgraded to 2013 I did not have the option.
Explains what the strike through text style is but not how to add it to my Text Editor ribbon. My understanding is that it should be a button in the Formatting Pallet under the Underline button, mine just shows Background Mask there. When I expand the formatting pallet I don't show a strikethrough option there either.
There is a Tut on how to do random lightning, but how do i do lightning on which i can direct. e.g. lightning under text. Can anyone give me any advise or locations of tut's.
i recently took this pic in utah and i posted it in another forum and someone said to lighten the shadows to make it look better. Now the only way i know how to lighten the shadows would be to use curves but then i always end up lightening the whole pic. So then i tried shadows/highlights but have never really worked too much with that in just working on shadows and not the whole picture. So here is the before picture....
Its been a while but I made a banner a couple years back following an extremely well setup tutorial I found online... I want to use the same concept for something else I'm working on but I JUST CANT REMEMBER all the steps to create it!
I remember how to make some of the stuff... Clouds, Difference Clouds, some stuff like that... But the main problem I'm having is remembering how to animate it to look the way it does.
I'm designing a logo for a very electronic band, and I was wanting to put an electrical or lightning sort of effect in the background, like an explosion of elecricity or something.
The lighting effects classic plugin from the optional downloads page crashes both the 32 and 64 bit versions of photoshop cc (version 14) on a windows 7 x64 system when invoked from Filter>Render>Lighting Effects Classic.
Simply fill the area that you want filled in with random lightning with black.
After that is done, go to:
1) ->Filter->Render->Clouds
2) -> Filter->Render->Difference Clouds
3) Press Control + I to inverse the colors
4) Press Control L to select the levels
5) Adjust the levels so that the lightning is dimmed but not too much.
And from there you can change the colors by pushing Control U, and click on the "Colorize" check box. Adjust the colors as you wish! and mess with it to get cool effects!
I've been using photoshop 7.0 for quite some time now and i've realized that when I go to Filter > Render > Lightning effects.... i cant use the styles bar anymore....i use to be able to but recently i just cant anymore.... anyone know why i cant use the styles option in "Lightning effects" ? Would having win xp sp2 cause some conflict ?
In the attached photo of a spread from album liner notes, you may be able to make out some handwriting (I've outlined the area in red.) I'd like that area to be easier to read than it currently is when printed in a book project I'm working on. How can I lighten that area so the handwriting is readable, without making it feel too bright, and have it still blend with the rest of it's side AND the other side of the spread?
i have seen this tutorial which tells you how to create sparks between wires.
i have a wires graphic ready to go but i have photoshop 7 whereas the tutorial is aimed at 5.5. i cant seem to get this effect to work. for instance in step 2 Dan says:
I'm using 3ds (mental ray) for architectural visualization. I normally have different cameras for exterior and interior renders in one model. Each scene should have its own specific lightning and shadow settings (intensity, shadow position, etc)
Is it possible to have multiple sun positions in the same model which would be connected to each camera?
If not, what would be the best way to achieve various lightning settings? I would like to avoid having one file for each camera position.
I am looking for a good lightning solution to use in a number of scenes. I looked at Draper's pflow lightning setup but could not get it to work correctly.. in the short framecount I need it to occur.It looked great but only over 600 frames.
I am animating splines and I think I can get that to work ok.. but
I have created a block and it has a little lightning logo next to it, I have never come a cross this, when I click on other blocks, the logo doesn't appear. Why is it there?
I have been using Coreldraw for several years now to create maps, but I am not good with the artistic tools, I need to create something like the attached "Back to Future" photo, specially the fire & lightning effects, I am planning to replace the car with another object.
I need to generate a lightning effect and then export the frames to several PNG images. Â I figured out how to do the lightning and how to export transparent PNGs, but I can't get rid of the lightning solid background (which is balck in my case).
I'm trying to make the edge of this image like the colors on a soap bubble, I've looked at tutorials for doing soap bubbles. It's not usually included in it. Sort of a blurred shiny transparent coloring if that describes it at all.
