Apr 2, 2012I've just bought VideoStudio Pro X4 and I want to mute the sound on my clips as I'm going to have music playing instead. On page 115 of the manual it says I will find the clip volume control in the Music and Voice tab. I have been all over the program interface and clicked on virtually everything but I cannot find a Music and Voice tab. In the end I had to split the audio for each clip and delete it. how to find the Clip audio volume control?

There's stuff for layouts etc... but not for standards.
AutoCad 3D :: Find Shortcut To Be Able To Slice Off Corner Of Object?
Mar 30, 2013I want to find a shortcut to be able to slice off the corner of an object (see picture below). Is there some sort of build in function to do so?

I have been manually doing this by (1) creating a square surface (2) re-positioning it over the corner and (3) using the slice command to ultimately slice off the piece and delete the excess.
As you can surmise, step (2) [re-positioning that damn surface over the corner], takes FOREVER.

Nov 1, 2011We use multi-leader objects in our drawings. When the multi-leader and its value are to be replicated throughout the drawing, we create mleaders with fields that show the contents of the first mleader. That way we can update only the value in the first mleader and all of its children will update as well. It works nicely for us.
Here comes one snag. If one of us opens a drawing with which we are not intimately familiar, we don't know which mleader is the parent of which children. There might be fifty parents and four hundred children in a drawing so going through them by hand is a big productivity drain.
What I need to do is write a routine that will let the user select the mleader that includes the field and have the routine highlight and/or zoom to the parent object.
I thought I should be able to find that info in the dxf codes for the mleader, but I am either missing it or it's not there.

AutoDesk Smoke :: Put CFX Clip On Top Of The First Clip
Nov 22, 20121. I put a clip in a timeline , then i put a cfx clip on top of the first clip. Add axis clip to cfx clip, set transparancy to 100% (fully transparent) , when hit render , this cfx is still calculated.
2. if i have stack of cfx clips, the clips are solid (no matte or transparancy ). one clip is on top of the other. In the top layer , i add a axis fx and cut a very small hole. We can see even a very small hole ( that will exposed small part of the bg ) will trigger smoke to render both of the clip full frame. Actually i only will see small part of the BG so i'm expecting smoke to render only that visible pixel. How to control this ? In some case i will waste my time waiting smoke to render part that i don't need.

how to put a 3D object on top of the another 3D object in autocad"! E.g.,I want to put a 3d object of one leaf (raised 1") on top of the vase, so that the edges of the leaf are placed completely on the surface of the vase.
I extruded the leaf 1" first, then tried to copy it on a solid cylinder of a vase, but it didn't work!!! It seems to be simple, maybe not!

AutoCad 2D :: Moving PDF Clip To Another Drawing
Jan 24, 2013I need to move a PDF within it's own box to another drawing. It's acknowledged as a DWG.
The DWG. is something I can't upload.
Describing the box is kind of hard. It has its own perimeter and reacts fine within it's own DWG and behaves normally, and there's no message when trying to move it or Copy it.
But, when Copying into a new drawing, then it doesn't come through. There's no error message or any sign of it on the the new DWG. The background comes in fine, so there's no issue there. All X-REF's are working.
